Hi,

 

I have had this site recommended to me by a new member and friend from other site by the name of Firewalker, who has informed me that this is a no nonsense site and has many traders.

 

I come from trade2win.com and prior to that traderchat.com to which I am under the same name for both.

 

My posts have slowly got less and less at trade2win due to the amount of childish chit chat and derailment of posts and although I will be looking to be an active member here, my blog at trade2win there will remain updated.

 

I trade indices only (currently S&P500 and Ftse100) but also look briefly at other instruments like gold,oil and currency. I am mostly a fundamental trader who trades long term positions on the futures market with the use of technicals and smaller time frames (1,2,3,5 mins) for entries/exits.

It wouldn't be unusual for me to hold a certain position (long/short) for many months before reversing. Although I look at the longer picture for trades I will trade on an intraday basis and my weekly closes amount to around 30 contracts for several hundred points.

 

I am a consistant trader with a track record spanning over 4 years for indices and over a decade for stocks. Such results will be posted on here using screenshots and explanations for it may be of use to others. Prior results can be seen by looking up my name on trade2win.com and traderchat.com.

 

I hope that I will meet many interesting traders on here that I could share with and learn from.

 

I look forward to learning new experiences and strategies, for which there are many.

Wow! Big gun amongst us! Welcome indeed. We hope to learn more from you I hope. Most of us are either new or trade small compared to what you trade so I'm sure as we grow, we'll be looking forward to your insight, especially on how patient you are holding such a big position despite a few crises we've had recently. How did you handle the Jan. news when BSC dove mercilessly? I'm sure most of us were just glad sitting out of that one.

Hi there,

 

I recently found your website and I have been reading like crazy, I have been a member of a lot of forums about trading but none seems to have this infinite knowledge flowing from every thread...

 

I hope you will welcome a little younger trader - I am 20 .. :) I am happy I found this place and besides the endless information I hope I can find good friends ( if anyone is bored waiting for a good set up to trade it would be my pleasure to chat about just everything) .. well that's basically me :)

      Question: To those that had/have cancer, what were the signs that made you think “something is not right here” to make you go see a doctor? Answer: So, 5/25/2018, I woke up, got ready for work, and as I walked to my car, I started gagging. Like something was stuck in my throat and I needed to clear it. And then it went away.   But 10 minutes after that, I was T-boned at 40mph on the driver side door. But what made me see a doctor was while my muscles felt better and bruises were going away, the gagging still continued, I started having fevers, my neck felt swollen, I was having such a hard time breathing, and I'd have random sharp pains in my chest, but not from where the seat belt saved me.   2 weeks after the accident, I finally see an urgent care doctor, who looks me over, tells me I'm fine, but luckily requests a neck X-ray. And I ask for a chest X-ray, which he rolls his eyes but let me have (most of my pain was in the neck, so I understand).   The very next day, he calls and says “So, that chest X-ray shows there's a 4 inch mass on your heart and lungs, and your lungs have been filling up with fluid, as well as in your pericardial (heart) wall. We need you to come in tomorrow.”   Turns out the big mass, due to the accident, caused my heart and lungs to tear and fill with fluid, the swollen neck and gagging was caused by 2 metastasized tumors, and the fevers and weight loss were symptoms. Stage 4b Hodgkin's Lymphoma.   But thankfully, we went very aggressive with chemo (and had a lot of bad side effects that don't normally happen to patients), and now I'm about 16 months cancer-free.       there is no avoiding loses to be honest, its just how the market is. you win some and hopefully more, but u do lose some.
