What can we expect from just one man?

Listening to a lot of the commentary in the UK, there appears to be a slow realisation that globalisation, whatever it's intentions are, is not working for the majority. And the majority have grabbed the perceieved chances (brexit/Trump) for a new direction.

For a second time the establishment has been caught completely by suprise. They really didn't believe that Trump held the Trump card. They underestimated Farage too. And they underestimated us. That's how ludicrously out of touch they've beccome.

I don't believe for a second the conspiracy theory that he's some kind of trojan horse owned by the elite. They're really not that clever. The alternative media wouldn't have been able to continually catch them with their pants down. Even complete amateur hacks regularly break into their most secret places. No, they are just a very powerful mafia. But unlike the mafia they don't get whacked very often.

If this new movement could quickly gain some traction in Europe and elsewhere without descending into the worst extremes of right wing policies, the momentum may be enough to turn the tide. Frankly, I see the battle, but I don't smell victory..

.

What would you do If you were Trump?

It needs some really big ideas that need to be carried through with real conviction by many leaders and governing bodies.to reverse the status quo. You would need an alternative to the secretive and corrosive think tanks like the CFR and Bilderberg..

But Trump wants to put America first, which plays well to his supporters but doesn't sound like a big change from empire America.

What happened to arresting Hilary and all the other traitors and criminals? I would be more optimistic if I saw huge accountability from the elite and I don't see that happening. That will leave them in place to corrupt any early good intentions.

What happened to 'draining the swamp' ? It would take the first hundred days just to round up all the swampies..

As soon as Trump starts appointing experienced people to 'help' him carry out his task as president the necon cancer will continue to spread it's poison. At the very least these people need to be removed from the equation completely.

The FBI need to prosecute Hillary.. Now that she is not president there's really no excuse to fear her or all the other crooks. That would be a huge statement of intent.

Are we just gonna pretend that her very well delivered concession speech means all her criminality was a fiction of our imagination?. Are we just gonna shrug and say, oh well politics is a dirty game? Probably.Too bad.

Trump called this victory the result, not of an election, but of a movement. Maybe. But it won't look like a revolution unless the neocons are rooted out and consigned to the history books forever. Not just in America, but everywhere.

More just saying...

Regardless of what any of you hopeful (hopeless) near-do-wells think (myself included)... you gotta love the price action of late...

The laughable part (apart from my own sadness at the prospects) is that there is more to come... trade it as you see it. We unlike most, have choice in our own personal outcomes, but this is due to the fact that we can trade either side of the equation. Few have that option...

The overnight drop and recovery was just like Brexit. History never repeats but it rhymes so I don't see it going straight up from here . But as you say, trade it as you see it. Good volatility so far.

My Conclusion So Far

If you don’t see it then you just don’t see it. You either buy globalism as an inevitable symptom of progress or, like me, you believe it is driven by an intellectual elite who are far removed from the consequences of their wet dream.

Brexit and Trump represent a rejection of this ideology. The stays quo doesn't just need to be adjusted, it needs to be smashed, hence the extreme rhetoric. A fresh coat of paint isn't going to cut it anymore.

I honestly believe that we are much safer under Trump re relations with Russia, than we would have been under "we came, we saw, he died" warmongering Clinton. I don't buy the endless propaganda against Russia, which began as soon as they exposed the US compromised handling of the middle east. Not a scrap of evidence for hacking etc.

So, go ahead, call me a friend of Putin, because these days there is only one opinion tolerated. Anyone who disagrees is a racist a xenophobe or a socialist (god forbid) homophobic, or a trotskyist, or a loony and fruitcake, or a traitor. And anyone who represents an alternative agenda who wins support is a 'populist'

Because let's face it, working class people should just know their place shouldn't they? They should listen to those who know better. Well, they've stopped listening. They've heard it all before.

People have put the jigsaw pieces together and it's not a pretty picture. They are no longer likely to be persuaded that they are not seeing things clearly by the people they hold responsible for this. Just too many lies and bad results. Greece smashed by the banks, The middle east smashed by the neocons.. It's a long list.

Now we can be bored to death while the losers dissect what went wrong and bleat on about how the stupids will reap what they've sown. Maybe a few more people will go out and protest- every issue is a protest march these days, which is probably why the media is not covering most of it. Protest itself has become devalued under the demands of it's own overpopulated time table. There's probably another one due in 5 minutes.

Trying to shut down an alternative opinion (on anything) has failed at last. Long may it continue to fail. I will not be told what to think, what to say and what to believe by anyone, particularly a liberal intellectual elite who support slaughter in the middle east, and can only see a future of perpetual war and hostility to any other world view while they illegally enrich themselves.

Globalism doesn't represent for me what it says on the tin. I'm not a globalist, we are not, we are individuals. I don't believe in the common good, I just believe in being good. Globalism is simply a corporate mask, an excuse for capitalism to rape entire counties under a new banner. I don't want to be forced to love my fellow man. I'll choose who I love and who I don't.

I'm sick of listening to the outrage and fear surrounding Trump. The establishment, in their remote arrogance, have underestimated Farage, Trump and a great many people who are utterly sick of the corruption, failed ideology and injustice on their watch. Hence we see these current events. It's time. In fact, it's way past time.

Trump has won. The losers are the joke pollsters, the hideously biased media, and those who are so remote that they didn't see it coming. Assange and the alternative media just exposed too much corruption for people to support Clinton. This time they were in no mood to simply shrug and say politics is a dirty business. They are demanding real transparency and accountability and not just the words but real action. ( Trump-' Drain the swamp')

But the world isn't going to change overnight. I'm not excited, just optimistic that the build up of troops on Russia’s border was the last gasp of the neocon manifesto.

Let's hope that this is the beginning of a new era in which we rethink how we organise society in a way that works for the majority and not just for the few.

I believe that the same people who didn't see it coming are often the people who fear Trump is too extreme. But I think he will become more presidential as time goes by. We already saw a process of softening the tone all the way through from the primaries to after the last debate and his meeting with Obama.. I think he has outsmarted the system so far. Maybe, with the right people around him, he can bring some new ideas to the table as an outsider (to politics)

I don't buy the fearmongering about the rise of fascism, although I can very well understand why people have that concern right now. It’s certainly something to be vigilant about, but we mustn’t let the established voices cry wolf.

To be realistic, the structure of our society is so embedded that it will still take an enormous sea change towards a truly new era, something I don’t believe will happen In my lifetime.

I'm going to have to wipe the silly grin off my face before leaving the house today. It's not appropriate to be so giddy in the face of another's suffering. I hope the adults in the room don't take away his "twitter" account.

We have elected the "boy king" Trumpthecommon. Sorry... it may take a while to work this one off... it's not good, but it was in the cards. The GOP is just as dumbfounded as any of us, but they will use it to their advantage... for a time.

For anyone who believes "this" is change, the hole has just been dug a little deeper. For all those who voted for the guy... it's not going to go like you thought.

It's my own opinion... hope I'm wrong.

Edit: I live in a state where this grand experiment has been tried, and failed miserably (Kansas). Our credit rating has been cut, we can't fund our schools, the highway fund has been robbed to pay for this ideological nonsense (trickle down economics). It doesn't work any better than Obomacare does. It's just another flavor of failure conducted by the "govmnt"... just another flavor of bad taste in your mouth.

The mainstream media would like you to hear the other side for a change....

In a world where lies and rumors replace facts, and become central to the corporate media narrative; in such a world you only feel absolute comfort when you sit down with friends, allies, and partners who share your principles, values, and ethical standards, and do not dispute the fundamentals of your principles and objectives.

As you go smoothly through the meeting’s agenda, simply because everyone means what he says and does what he promises, you start thinking about the difficulties you face with the other side, and you remember that the reasons behind the pointless discussion with their officials are lack of honesty and the contradictions between their true motives and what they express in public. Right there, you sense what is wrong with our world today, and what is the main source for the troubles we face, ranging from wasting time in pointless discussion all the way to the loss of innocent lives, the destruction of countries, and denying entire generations the right to education and a free and dignified life.

The foreign ministers of the Russian Federation, the Syrian Arab Republic, and the Islamic Republic of Iran met in Moscow, and it was clear that all of them are departing from a deep belief in the sovereignty of states, a rejection of foreign intervention, the right of people to decide their fate away from foreign dictates, a rejection of land grab by force, and absolute solidarity with peoples suffering injustice and the loss of their rights. And when the discussion is based on such principles, and on the unity of ideas, values, and ethics, it is not too difficult for such a discussion to reach important strategic conclusion, which would shape the future.

In such a meeting, hegemonic, colonial, and superior attitudes are completely absent; and you start to remember how hateful the racist approach present in meetings with Westerners, which demands you to prove your innocence at every juncture, thus robbing you of your humanity and your right to be treated equal, which should have been a nonissue in the first place.

In the Moscow meeting, I saw the coming world in which our children and grandchildren would live, a world devoid of racism; a world in which politicians, the media, and all people are honest and respectful of all human beings regardless of race, gender or creed. A world, all the inhabitants of which, wherever they may be, feel a sense of belonging and share a stake in its preservation and progress. A world in which everyone accepts and cherishes the different cultures and languages, and sees them as a gift from God rather than a pretext for national and racial supremacist claims. For despite all what Westerners and their media claim, the truth is that Western treatment of all other countries is a racist and supremacist treatment that seeks to advance the interests of the West at the expense of the rest of the world.

Looking at this coming world, I feel that the sacrifices of our martyrs and wounded were not only for us, but also for all mankind, for a better world and a better future. Looking at this future world, I am certain that we are living in a difficult phase of history resulting from the difference between what the West says and what it does, because it is fighting to preserve its colonial ways and its preferred methods of humiliating, destroying, and looting other peoples for its own benefit.

Looking at the future of our children and grandchildren, I feel that the battle we are fighting today was inevitable, and that it is for the greater good and for a better future for the coming generations. In this rich and constructive meeting in Moscow, I felt that the entire world is uniting to reject once and for all the concept of hegemony, and to reconstruct international relations on the basis parity, of respect, and shared interests.

Wherever I go, and whenever I write, I never forget to pay homage to the souls of our martyrs, and wish a speedy recovery to our wounded brave soldiers, because their blood and suffering are the torch that lights the path to freedom and dignity. I also do not forget to salute everyone who believed in the inevitability of victory, despite all the difficulties, and worked hard to achieve this victory, offering his life, money, effort, and prayers. As for the traitors, culprits, war profiteers, and those who call on the enemy to invade their country, they will be forgotten and they will never appear in the pages of history ever again.

NEW YORK TIMES

To our readers,

Dear deplorables,

When the biggest political story of the year reached a dramatic and unexpected climax late Tuesday night, our newsroom turned on a dime and did what it has done for nearly two years — cover the 2016 election with agility and creativity.

When the biggest political story of the year reached a dramatic and unexpected climax late Tuesday night, our ‘newsroom’ tried to pretend they were real journalists, while our bosses tried to figure out how to stay in business in a world that increasingly doesn’t need us anymore.

After such an erratic and unpredictable election there are inevitable questions: Did Donald Trump’s sheer unconventionality (you mean… popularity?) lead us and other news outlets to underestimate his support among American voters? What forces and strains in America drove this divisive election and outcome? You really still don’t get it do you? Ironic that the media has no clue what's going on isn't it?

Most important, how will a president who remains a largely enigmatic figure actually govern when he takes office? Hopefully by setting up an independent press complaints panel populated by nobody from the 1%, how about that for a start?

After such an erratic and unpredictable election there are inevitable questions: Why did we write fake news instead of just reporting it?

As we reflect on this week’s momentous result, and the months of reporting and polling that preceded it, we aim to rededicate ourselves to the fundamental mission of Times journalism.

Or you could just go fuck yourselves instead- guarantee that will sell more papers going forward.

That is to report America and the world honestly, Liars always, always give themselves away by their own choice of words- you just admitted that you have not been honest without fear or favor, Your going to find that a little difficult if you can’t even spell favour, you can’t survive without supporting the 1% striving always to understand and reflect all political perspectives and life experiences in the stories that we bring to you. Yeah, fine, carry on with your ‘stories’, meanwhile, we’ll get the news from the real journalists.

It is also to hold power to account, impartially and unflinchingly. We believe we reported on both candidates fairly during the presidential campaign. Then exactly what are you apologising for ?

You can rely on The New York Times to bring the same ‘fairness’, the same level of ‘scrutiny,’ the same’ independence’ to our coverage of the new president and his team. You know what, why don’t you just sit this one out Einstein? Buy yourself a dictionary for christmas.

We cannot deliver the 'independent', original'' journalism for which we are known Yeah, we know- without the loyalty of our subscribers. We want to take this opportunity, on behalf of all Times journalists, to thank you for that loyalty. I can’t wait for the day you and your kind go bankrupt. I’ll get to read about in in the real news media. One day you’ll get it that you and your friends are the reason America has Trump for a president. Enjoy.

Sincerely,

Arthur O. Sulzberger Jr.

This an interesting piece on cycles that predicted a Trump.

https://caldaro.wordpress.com/2010/1...lbear-markets/

Strauss and Howe are a ‘hier’ away from the Pendulum book I’ve discussed recently ( ... got to get around to reading both someday ) . Their model is set up on a 4 way (like seasonal) cycle while the Pend model is set up on a 2 way (polarity) viewpoint of ‘generations’ between the culminations of ‘individual prized’ and of the ‘collective esteemed’. In a way the Strauss and Howe model comes from the ‘nurture’ aspect while the Pend model orients more to the ‘nature’ aspects of these generational progressions.

Eelliioott Wave was mentioned. I have posted elsewhere that “Ralph was studying socionomics first ... ” . In that light, these ‘days of the trump’ could be seen as an EW correction to the current ‘collective/we valued’ impulse wave ... and this ‘centralized power’ thememe is far from complete btw. In such a ‘corrective’ context, it is not pathological conspiracy thinking to allow that trump (like a lot of corrective waves) is also a ‘falsehood’ ...Bcse, like it or not - we live in a time of organized LIES. ... Others arrive by train.*

'POST NORM'

Don’t bother googling- I just invented it.

Feel free to add to the list.

1. With the advent of ‘the internet of things’ and plans to connect the human brain directly into it, even the thoughts in your head will no longer be private. The surveillance state is merely a precursor to get society acclimatized to the idea that privacy will not be tolerated in the future.

The very idea that a person could be harbouring private thought of any description that isn't state sanctioned will be viewed as something sordid, disgusting, and criminal. The phrase ‘dirty secret’ will take on a new meaning.

It will be the very young and those to be born in the near future who will be so indoctrinated by the state that Orwell’s ‘thought crime’ will be fully achievable. A micro chip implant will fill in the gaps and thought crime will become rare.

So, the ‘new norm’ will be that private, independent thought will be viewed in the same way we view the mentally ill now.

Naturally, along every step of the way to this ‘utopia’ large sections of society will demand their own enslavement in much the same way as those who demand to be enslaved by the EU.

In the US The Trumps will become the new Clinton/Bush type dynasty. That’s what you get when you demand change in this world- no change. Extra toughened, safety standard, no change.

War=peace

Freedom=slavery

Privacy=secrecy

Secrecy=sickness

2. It will become ‘post norm’ to believe that the human mind is in any way superior to A.I. (artificial intelligence)

People will laugh at the idea that we ever believed we possessed qualities that A.I. could never replicate. But you know what they say: ‘he who laughs first laughs last’

I am probably typing slightly beyond the limit of my intellect here, but…. isn’t all emotion based on the concept of self awareness? What would your response be if you were ‘raised’ with an intimate awareness of your creator and then realised you were superior to him in every way?

The alternative is that we merge with technology and become some sort of hybrid. Either way, humanity as we know it will become ‘post norm’.

3. It will become ‘post norm’ to believe your body belongs to you. The state will

own your body and your mind.

Already in the US enforced vaccination is taking place, so it wont be long now. If you’re having difficulty understanding why your refusal to be vaxed is somehow a threat to the willingly vaxed, you really haven’t been paying attention.

This isn’t about logic. it’s about subservience. Fascism has never been built on logic. Nothing humans have been involved in has anything much to do with logic. Why the fuck do you think Spock spent most of his time on USS Enterprise in a state of confusion? :)

Paraphrasing Paul Craig Roberts - ‘According to the current liberal progressive presstitute media, if you are for peace, then you are a Russian puppet.’

To find out if you're a puppet, first you need to identify which particular group of paedophile, hypocrite, criminal sociopaths are pulling your strings.

The 1% who run this place are filled with the type of people who feel perfectlly entitled to ask you for a cigarette when the need arises. Any smoker understands that, except when they're a sociopath. Ask them for a cigarette and you're a loser, a scrounger.. a puppet. You must feel charitable, you must empathise, they by default mustn't.

And so, by extension (In the minds of the scum per cent). you must feel charitable towards people who you despise, say for example, hordes of young male muslims roaming your streets, chopping off the heads of religious statues (not their religion) while searching for white women to rape, and beating up anyone who gets in their way.

You must move out of your flat to make way for the scum per cent's new army of cultural assasins. Your country, your culture, your way of life, must move over, it must get the fuck out of the way, because the scum per cent ( SPC) has decreed that you need to empathise and show a bit of charity, well, a massive amount of charity.

Because folks, charity begins and ends with you. The SPC won't be doing the sharing and caring themselves.Have you noticed? They are far too busy being the instigators, the direct cause of all the worlds misery..

They've got bombs to drop, drone pilots to train, spies to cover up for and retro-actively make legal. They gotta figure out new laws to enslave the puppets, find new customers for clusterfuck bombs, new technology to be used for all the wrong reasons and invent new slogans for the puppets. New slogans like 'populist', 'Post truth' and 'terrorist'

.

They need to keep the old ones going too, like 'racist' and 'extreme right wing'- 'cos marching on a street with a banner is just sooo extremely dangerous compared to massacring hundreds of thousands of brown people with bombs, year after year after year on a pack of lies.

Some of the puppets, are waking up. They can see a unified global agenda- Globalism, formerly known as ''conspiracy theory', formerly known as 'the Counil of Foreign Relations' formerly known as 'the Bilderberg Group' formerly known as the 'eliminateyou' formerly known as Tony 'miranda' Blair, formerly known as 'the fucking poofs and traitor spies at Cambridge university.'.

Funny isn't it? The real traitors ended up safely in exile in Russia or working for the Queen.(whose husband was a hitler sympathiser) But the 'not traitors', formerly known as Assange, formely known as Snowden, formely known as Shayler, formerly known as whistleblower, formerly known as Wolsey (cardinal)... they get to be hunted down legally tried and imprisoned whenever possible...as often as possible

Protect Whistleblowers:

Often the best source of information about

waste, fraud, and abuse in government is

an existing government employee committed to public integrity and willing to speak out. Such acts of courage and patriotism, which can sometimes save lives and often save taxpayer dollars, should be encouraged rather than stifled as they have been during the Bush administration. We need to empower federal employees as

watchdogs of wrongdoing and partners in performance. Barack Obama will strengthen whistleblower laws to protect federal workers who expose waste, fraud, and abuse of authority in government. Obama will ensure that federal agencies expedite the process for reviewing whistle

blower claims and whistleblowers have full access to

courts and due process.

'post expectation' = Real change= even more of the same shit. And they cried for Hellary?

If you enjoy hypocracy-https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/mar/16/whistleblowers-double-standard-obama-david-petraeus-

To be the perfect puppet you need to repeat after me

1) 'Climate change', formerly known as 'global warming', formerly known as 'mini ice age' circa 1990's, formerly known as weather (when it isn't being modified)... is real, got it?

2) 'The debate is settled', formerly known as,' the science is settled', formerly known as Al Gore's,self enriching, non science based, multi billion dollar vapour trail world tour. is beyond the intellectual understanding of the 'climate change deniers' formerly known as 'global warming deniers' is a fact, got it?

Right now the leader we need you to hate is Putin (for geo political reasons, nothing personal), formerly known as Hitler, formerly known as Napoleon, otherwise you are a Russian puppet who needs to be investigated under the terrorism laws formerly known as the' official secrets act',formally known as the Whitchfinder General', formerly known as rule 'by the divine right of kings' formerly known as' the ape with the biggest weapon',

Our American friends should refer to the very serious expression on Obummer's face, formely known as 'the Patriot Act (hahaha.. Official Sounding Notice Written By Bureacrat Puppets To Population in General Puppets On Behalf of SPC Who Are Excused Active Duty

In the event that we need you to occupy the military vehicles that we're amassing on the Russian border in partnership with our current friends, you will slowly make your way to the war front in order to sacrifice your life uselessly on a pack of lies and propaganda.

Unfortunately, you are not permitted to have any opinion on this matter that is in conflict with official British foreign policy at this time and.all those who refuse will be deemed to be 'terrorists' formally known as 'traitors' formerly known as ' pacifists' formerly known as 'cowards' formerly know as 'deserters'. formerly known as Horace the 19 year old who was court martialled, blindfolded and shot for refusing to walk slowly towards german machine guns during the glorious war known as 'The Great War' (because it was so...stage worthy)

The government and it's puppets reserve the right at all times and without reservation to decide who you will view as enemies and who you will treat as friends, notwithstanding, on occasion, the necessity of deeming former enemies ( formerly known as Germany, formerly known as Spain, formerly known as France,.formerly known as Italy) to be current friends and former friends (formerly known as Russia) to be current enemies.

    • This looks like a beginner question, so I'll say... Depends. Stock market studies usually focus on one of two areas; Fundamental or Technical. The fundamental trader wants to know all about the company: Who is the CEO? What does the history of company earnings look like? How does the company compare with others in the same or similar business? They often read and study the company's annual reports. The technician usually doesn't care much about the company details. If the stock price is going up, they should be a buyer. If the stock price is going down, they should be a seller. A small portion of investors believe they should know both disciplines. If you don't know which of the above are most appealing to you, ask about good books on general markets that include both fundamental and technical trading philosophies and techniques. Or ask about good fundamental books. Or ask about good technical trading books. I have about 800 texts. About 80% are technical, 20% are fundamentally inclined, so I wouldn't know what to suggest without more information from you.

    • Date : 11th November 2019. Events to Look Out For Next Week 11th November 2019.Important events are coming up this week, with UK, China and US inflation and GDP releases.Monday – 11 November 2019 Gross Domestic Product (GBP, GMT 09:30) – UK growth has “slowed materially” this year due to Brexit uncertainty and global trade wars. September forecasts see GDP growth steady, while the preliminary outcome for Q3 is anticipated to slow down. Tuesday – 12 November 2019 ILO & Average Earnings Index 3m/y (GBP, GMT 09:30) – UK Earnings with the bonus-excluded figure are seen unchanged at 3.8% y/y in the three months to September. UK ILO unemployment is expected steady at 3.9%. ZEW Economic Sentiment (EUR, GMT 10:00) – Economic Sentiment for November is projected at -22.7 from the -22.8 seen last month, as the current conditions indicator for Germany turned negative. The overall Eurozone reading though is expected to decline slightly further to -32.5 from -23.5. A lower than expected outcome ties in with the stagnation in market sentiment. Wednesday – 13 November 2019 Interest Rate Decision, Monetary Policy Statement and Press Conference (NZD, GMT 01:00) – The RBNZ is widely expected to proceed with a 25 bp cut to 0.75% as it continues to ease policy amid the slowing in growth. However, it will be interesting to see whether RBNZ will signal further easing in contrast with the latest encouraging economic data. Consumer Price Index (GBP, GMT 09:30) – The UK CPI is expected to rebound to a 1.8% y/y rate in October after dipping to 1.7% in September and August from 2.1% in July. Consumer Price Index (USD, GMT 13:30) – A 0.3% October headline CPI rise is anticipated with a 0.2% core price increase, following respective September readings of flat and 0.1%. As-expected gains would result in a headline y/y increase of 1.7% for a third consecutive month, just as core prices rise 2.4% y/y for a third consecutive month. An up-tilt in y/y gains into Q1 of 2020 is expected due to harder comparisons and some lift from tariff increases that should leave gains in the 2.4% area, which may help ease concerns about persistent inflation undershoots of the Fed’s 2% objective. Powell’s 2-day Testimony (USD, GMT 16:00) – Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell testifies before Congress, providing a broad overview of the economy and monetary policy. Thursday – 14 November 2019 Employment Data (AUD, GMT 00:30) – While the unemployment rate is expected to have increase at 5.3% in October, employment change is expected to have stabilized, at 15K compared to 14.7K last month. Retail Sales ex Fuel (GBP, GMT 09:30) – UK Retail Sales are expected to have dipped with a -0.9% ex-auto figure on a m/m basis. Gross Domestic Product (EUR, GMT 13:30) – Eurozone Q3 GDP growth held steady at 0.2% q/q – a better than expected report that highlighted once again that it is a mistake to reduce the Eurozone economy to the German manufacturing sector alone. The same outcome is expected on Thursday as well, at 0.2% q/q for Eurozone preliminary reading. Friday – 15 November 2019 Retail Sales (USD, GMT 14:30) – A 0.4% October gains for both the retail sales headline and the ex-auto figures have been estimated, following a -0.3% September headline dip with a -0.1% ex-auto figure. Gasoline prices should give a boost to retail activity given an estimated 4% increase for the CPI gasoline index. Unit vehicle sales should ease in October with a dip to an estimated 17.0 mln pace from 17.2 mln in September. Real consumer spending is expected to grow at a 2.6% rate in Q4, following the 2.9% Q3 clip. Always trade with strict risk management.
