EUR/USD is at a 4 month high. The pair peaked at 1.3390, just under 1.34 before closing at 1.3346. I am bearish on euro as the economic situation hasn’t improved, the crisis may bite this week with the discusion about elections in Greece.

    EURUSD Discussions

It looks like the crisis in Turkey has no real effect on the price of euro, but someone has to be very carreful about the political developmets in nearby Greece and if they are heading into a new election, that will be a huge problem for the Euro

    Google Inc.

Google Inc., builds products and provides services to organize the information and make it universally accessible and useful. It provides Search, a service that delivers relevant search results in response to user queries; Product Listing Ads that offer product information. BALANCE SHEET Google Inc. earned $3.3 billion, or $9.94 per share, during the opening three months of the year. That was a 16 percent increase from $2.9 billion, or $8.75 per share, last year. If not for certain expenses, Google said it would have earned $11.58 per share. Revenue climbed 31 percent from last year to $14 billion. After subtracting advertising commissions, Google's revenue totaled $11 billion — about $335 million below analyst estimates. The first-quarter numbers show that a recent decline in Google's average ad prices is easing. That's an indication that marketers are starting to pay more for the ads that Google distributes to smartphones and tablet computers. Google's average price, or the "cost per click" to advertisers, has fallen from the previous year in six consecutive quarters, including the opening three months of the year. GOOG PE stands at 24.83 below the industry average of 67.86 and above the S&P 500 average of 16.70. The stock is currently trading 9% below its intrinsic value of $874.82 this suggests that the stock is undervalued at these levels. GOOG's current Price/Sales of 5.03 is above the average of its industry of 2.33. The beta of 1.15 implies higher volatility of the stock with respect to the S&P 500. GOOG’s Total Debt/Equity is 7.70 and is acceptable for our model. At the end of the quarter, Google had $50.1 billion in cash and cash equivalents. The company pays no dividend. I believe GOOG is still a buy

USD/JPY extended its decline down to key support around the 95.00 level and managed to rebound and recover that loss intra-day, that move makes me believe that mabe we will see a further recovery above 100.50

    EURUSD Discussions

That was a turbulent week! Euro/usd bounced from 1.2940 and traded in a range between 1.3050 and 1.31. After the news touched 1.3306 just to close the week at 1.3218. i prefer to see the move of the pair at the start of the week and then open a new position
  16. Eurozone unemployment rose to 12.2% in April, with young jobless rate up slightly at 24.4% from 24.3% in March
  17. A bounce in the dollar and firmer stocks are weighing on the yellow metal again. The $1350 level has been extraordinarily supportive, the end of stimulus could mean a break in equity markets. The money leaving the equity markets could move into gold. This would drive gold prices higher.
  18. Midweek, it was announced that the EU had ended its excessive-deficit procedure against Italy. This is the first step in the right direction for the Euro-zone’s third largest economy, and perhaps it means that some fiscal stimulus may be on the horizon. Still, the European Commission warned that austerity should continue, in order to reduce the country's fiscal deficit from the 5.5% of GDP in 2009 to the 3.0% threshold required under EU regulations, which was supposed to be accomplished by last year. Given the current trajectory of the deficit, the EC’s Italian forecast calls for a further reduction to 2.9% in 2013 and 2.5% in 2014.
  19. Demonstrations spread throughout Turkey on Sunday as protests sparked by plans to demolish a park in Istanbul transformed in their third day into general anti-government unrest. After violent clashes on Friday, riot police withdrew from Istanbul's central Taksim Square late on Saturday afternoon.

    USDJPY Discussions

The Japanese yen rallied after a fresh 4-1/2 year low, helped by weaker-than-expected Chinese data and selloff in Japanese stocks boosted risk aversion. The yen was also supported due to the jump in 10-year Japanese government bond yields, which rose to 1%, the highest in a year. USD/JPY closed at 101.28 on Friday i will play the rebound from that level up to 102
  22. Bank of Japan Governor said the country's financial institutions have sufficient buffers against losses they may incur from rises in bond yields, as long as the market moves are driven by prospects of an economic recovery. The central bank will also be vigilant to any signs of overheating of asset prices or excessive risk-taking by financial institutions

Euro should target the 1.2800 level on ending its recovery attempts. Support comes in at the 1.2750 level. On the upside, resistance resides at the 1.3060 level where a violation if seen will aim at the 1.3170 level. I believe EUR continues to retain its medium term downside bias despite some recovery attempts the last week.

MDLZ's current Price/Sales of 1.59 is above the average of its industry of 0.30. The beta of 0.48 implies lower volatility of the stock with respect to the S&P 500.
