Are there anybody using gartley, bat, butterfly etc patterns as their main method of trading? would like to hear your thoughts please!

Have you read "Trade What You See"? The gartley and butterfly are studied exclusively. A really good book

As a discretionary trader I don't have a "main" method. Rather a number of things that are used as circumstances dictate. For example, it might be that there are no harmonic patterns for the markets that I trade. Do I stop trading or ujse other indicators? Harmonic patterns are just in t he toolbox along with everything else and do not hold any superior position. Even when a pattern is present I always look for verification by other means which is the same requirement for any indicator that I use.

Of course there is no ultimate single method or indicator. I just wanted people who use these patterns as a part of their system to share their knowledge&experience so that other traders can learn

don't use them often, they are very hard to spot and they must have the prooper fib ratios to be consider valid, I found that the patterns I think is ok, but when I plot the fibs on them, they are moslty not valid and it turns out to be a waiste of my time, I think there is better more easy patterns to trade.
