You might want to say, "I went long at 0.6425 because the H1 candle was green and lost".

But if you really look, the LONG ENTRY was back at 0.6375 when price reversed... green H1 candle after 2 red H1 candles.

You have to use a little common sense when trading. PRICE is NOT going to continue in one direction forever. If price has already moved 50 pips or more in the direction you want to trade BEFORE you enter, you may have missed the boat.

This thread and it's author is off to ignore for me.

The title is 'never lose again' and then he says 'just watch price and trade it'.

Wow, thanks. Very insightful.

And then we get these neat looking charts w/o any explanation as to what's even on there. No need to post charts w/ all these indicators and what not only to say - you don't need indicators, just watch price.

This thread smells funny and I'm not in the mood to call out :spam: or whatever else this person is attempting to do. As I told James, there's a reason he's been banned on other forums and my hunch is that it's a matter of time here as well. Perhaps I will be proven wrong, but I really don't see the point of this thread if he's not going to discuss what he is 'seeing' w/ all the fancy indicators. He may say you don't indicators, but sure looks like he's using them...

The reason I got banned is because I don't back down from people like you. Then they gang up and complain to the forum admins. The forum admins get tired of the noise and decide it's easier to ban me than settle feuds. I started my thread here and people like you start attacking. So I defend. It's really simple.

Now if you took the time to read my post, you'll see that I have explained a simple method of trading. The indicators are either multi period or statistical in nature. You do NOT need them. I use them instead of flipping back and forth between charts of different time periods. You would know that if you took the time to read my posts.

Why not give Tro a break? You are jumping on him because you think He is up to something. First of all, he is a blooming genius.. if you take the time and effort to hear him out he will help you be successful. I follow him at other threads and there is testimony after testimony of people making money following his advise. He has helped me tremendously and my platform is loaded to overflowing from all his free stuff. I couldn't even put a price on it. So... cut him some slack guys.. Thanks.. Julie

Thank you Julie. I would like to give TRO a chance to participate on TL. Some members may definitely find value in his work. And personally I think TRO has been banned from other forums (mainly TS) because he is a threat to trading vendors selling indicators for over $1k.

Now regarding the rudeness/hostility... well I would like to request that we all ease out a bit and let this thread run. (including TRO please)

Now some of you may be concerned about the spam/soliciation techniques. I have zero tolerance for this and will act accordingly to protect the interest of the trading community here on TL. For any further comments regarding my post or this thread, please feel free to pm me or open a new thread in the support forum. Cant we all get along? Thanks.

WOW!!! The method is so simple. How come I never think about it.

Thank you TRO for posts 46, 47 and 48 to explain it. Sometimes when a trading method is so SIMPLE, many gurus have a hard time to accept it. :missy:

TRO, Please change the title NEVER LOOSE AGAIN to ALWAYS WIN FOREVER (sound too good to be true, but it is true) so you will not get ban here. the former title is "bad omen".:ban:

By the way, you will prove that you are better than many of the gurus by giving all your indicators to members of this forum. NEVER INDICATOR AGAIN.

We ALL will make money trading. We ALL will get along here.

Thanks again, Soultrader.

I am perfectly fine "easing a bit". However, when I attacked, I WILL DEFEND!!

If you take the time to read this NEVER LOSE AGAIN thread or any/all of the other ones, you'll see it's ALWAYS someone attacking me first, then I DEFEND.

I have no reason to attack anyone in my thread. All I am doing is presenting methods and strategies for trading. Others immediately think SPAM and/or SCAM. They only see what they want to see.

I believe in teaching people to fish rather than giving them a fish. Some people think my answers are "cryptic" and get frustrated. Others have the "aha" moment and start to rake the money in.

The traders who learn the quickest are usually the ones who have the least knowledge/experience - they have no bad habits to unlearn!! They are NOT prone to want to add an indicator to improve my method.

Soultrader, I really do appreciate you being the VOICE OF REASON.

The title is 'never lose again' and then he says 'just watch price and trade it'.

That's probably the BEST ADVICE one trader could pass on to another.

Have you looked at some trader's charts? So many SQUIGGLY LINE indicators that you can barely see PRICE!!

I don't need SQUIGGLY LINES to tell me if PRICE is going up or down. I CAN SEE THAT WITH MY OWN TWO EYES.

Show me a SQUIGGLY and chances are it is a LAGGING INDICATOR.

The indicators you see on my charts are REAL TIME, PRICE BASED indicators. Some are showing PRICE'S position relative to open price or support/resistance based on the most recent highest high and lowest low. Some show REAL TIME STATISTICS such as number of like colored candles in a row per time frame, average range or number of candles that closed above/below the current price. And those indicators are DIGITAL.

I do plot horizontal lines at prices ending in 00, 25, 50 and 75. I also plot horizontal lines at the open price for the London, New York, Tokyo and Sydney market. On the gray bar chart, I plot the current and previous high and low for the D1, W1 and MN1 time periods.

So, yes I said, "JUST WATCH PRICE AND TRADE IT" because if you do that, then you'll NEVER LOSE AGAIN.

SEE GREEN CANDLE.

SEE GREEN CANDLE AT 0.6375

GO LONG.

SEE PROFIT.

DO YOU SEE A PATTERN?

Not really. What I see is if you went long at the first opportunity at the Line you talked about, then you would have had an MAE much larger than the MFE in the trade. And if you had waited to see if the move materialized in your favour you would be stopped for a loss. So, come on Avery, money management is key. And you are not offering any advice on what your money management, stop loss, take profit levels are.

Are you looking at the last (rightmost) green candle? HIGH minus 0.6375 is GREATER THAN 0.6375 minus LOW. So I am not sure how you reached your conclusion.

You are correct, I haven't said anything about risk/money management. Perhaps, if I had NOT been distracted by people attacking me, I could have presented risk/money management by now. I have covered that subject in other forums.

But if you THINK about it, your worse case stop would be the next horizontal line.

If you go long at 0.6375 and price started to drop, the candle would soon turn RED and then, if it keeps dropping, it would cross a horizontal line at 0.6350.

You should probably exit after the candle turns RED.

Understand?

Not every person can learn from the same teacher. If NO ONE learned from me, then I would look in the mirror for the source of the problem. But since many people have learned and are learning from me, I suggest that YOU look in the mirror for the source of the problem.

KIWI, do me a favor and just LEAVE ME ALONE.

SoulTrader, please handle KIWI if s/he continues to harass me. Thank you.

Since you have been banned from pretty much any forum out there, maybe this is time for you to pull out that mirror and take responsibility?

The ship has sailed.

0.6425 is NOT an entry.

0.6400 was the entry.

I just want to clarify...

0.6400 was the entry at which time one takes profit a few pips later (not to get greedy since it's scalping as you said before).

0.6425 and 0.6450 were not entries because the ship had sailed.

Why the second screen shot with price above 0.6450 if one was already out a few pips above 0.6400 and no entry was taken at 0.6425 on the same H1 bar?

Also, by your rules you should wait for at least three red H1 bars before taking a reversal so one wouldn't have even taken an entry at 0.6400 right?

Please correct me if anything above is incorrect.

How do you gauge when to take profit?

What is the average amount?

How do you gauge your stop?

What is the average amount?

In my opinion, in order to be taken seriously with their strategy, one must answer these questions. Entries are only one peice of the puzzle. I'm looking forward to your responses (in all seriousness).

Did you know that in the days of old if you stated that the EARTH was NOT at the center of the universe or that the EARTH was NOT flat, you would be PUT TO DEATH?

Sometimes stating the TRUTH is NOT VERY POPULAR.

The forums that ban me are vendor supported in one way or another. I have been posting on StockFetcher for years. I have had my share of attackers their but I remain standing because StockFetcher is NOT vendor supported.

If I am viewed as a THREAT to the forum owners revenue stream, I get banned. If you dig deep enough, you will find that my attackers usually are the ones that have something at stake. Perhaps they sell their services or products. Maybe, they have some click through ads on their own personal website.

But, so far, I am NOT banned here. And I won't be so long as people don't attack me. And if they continue to do so, I hope the Forum Owner will put a stop to it.

Remember, in the USA, we are INNOCENT until proven GUILTY. So please base you opinion on what you see NOW and not what happened elsewhere in the past.

Thank you.

I really do NOT understand.

I am showing you a method that is HIGHLY PROFITABLE.

I am showing you in REAL TIME as best I can.

But for some reason, SOME PEOPLE are hung up over something that has NOTHING TO DO WITH TRADING.

What is the reason they are trying to KILL THE MESSENGER?

What is the reason they don't want you to learn how to trade this method?

What are they offering that is better for your portfolio?

You do NOT need to buy ANYTHING from me or anyone else to use this method. So what is their issue with me?

DO YOU SEE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?

    • Date: 2nd May 2024. Market News – Stocks mixed; Yen support still on; Eyes on NFP & Apple tonight. Economic Indicators & Central Banks:   As the Fed maintained a “high-for-longer” stance, stocks gave up their gains with attention turning back to earnings. Chair Powell and the Fed were not as hawkish as feared and the markets reacted immediately and in textbook fashion to the still dovish policy stance. The Fed flagged that recent disappointing inflation readings could make rate cuts a while in coming, but Fed chief Jerome Powell characterized the risk of more hikes as “unlikely,” giving some solace to markets. Stocks traded mixed across Asia, while in Europe, DAX and FTSE futures are finding buyers and US futures are also in demand, after the Fed’s message. Yen: Another suspected intervention by authorities, this time in late New York trading, ran into resistance from traders keen to keep selling the currency. Swiss CPI lifted to 1.4% y/y in April from 1.0% y/y in the previous month. Headline numbers are still at low levels and base effects play a role, with the different timing of Easter this year also likely to distort the picture. That said, the numbers may not question the SNB’s decision to cut rates, but they do not support another rate cut in June. Financial Markets Performance:   The USDIndex has corrected to 105.58, but USDJPY is already inching higher again, after a sharp drop to a low of 153.04 on Tuesday that sparked fresh intervention speculation. The pair is currently trading at 155.38. Treasury yields plunged and were down over double digits before profit taking set in. USOIL finished with a -3.6% loss to $79.00, the lowest since March 12. Currently it is as $79.53. Gold was up 1.4% to $2319.55 per ounce, reclaiming the $2300 level. Market Trends:   Wall Street climbed initially with gains of 1.4% on the NASDAQ, 1.2% on the Dow, and 0.96% on the S&P500. The NASDAQ and S&P500 closed with losses of -0.3%, while the Dow was 0.23% firmer. The Hang Seng rallied more than 2%, and the ASX also posting slight gains, while CSI 300 and Nikkei declined. Apple’s earnings report is due after the US market closes today, will give investors a better sense of how the iPhone maker is weathering a sales slump, due in part to a sluggish China market. • Date: 1st May 2024. Understanding the Implications of the FOMC Meeting. The FOMC will issue its post-meeting statement at 18:00 GMT tonight. “High-for-longer” is the expected outcome (but not higher) given more indications that progress on bringing inflation sustainably down to the 2% target has stalled out. With no new quarterly forecasts, it will be all about Chair Powell’s press conference when the Fed announces its policy stance tonight.   It is unlikely to be any more hawkish than what the markets are pricing in. Indeed, Chair Powell will have to acknowledge that the data are going the wrong way and he may even pre-empt the likely first question out of the box, “is a rate hike in the cards?” Meanwhile, Fed funds futures have not only fully priced out chances for a rate cut for this meeting and for June, but July as well. Risk for a reduction in September fell to below 50-50 on the initial spike in implied rates on the ECI news. The November contract reflects 20 bps in cuts, with a full quarter point easing now not seen until December. The FOMC is also expected to announce a slowing in Treasury runoff for June.   Economic Projections & Market Interpretation: The March update of the SEP revealed notable adjustments in key economic indicators. GDP forecasts for 2024 experienced a substantial upward revision, reflecting a more optimistic outlook with a growth rate of 2.1%, up from 1.4% in December. Similarly, projections for 2025 saw improvements, with the median jobless rate forecasts showing mixed trends but generally aligning with recent patterns. Expectations for headline and core PCE chain price indices also witnessed slight adjustments, indicating potential shifts in inflation dynamics. During the March meeting, the “dot plot” estimates hinted at a dovish stance by Fed members, with no indications of further rate hikes and median estimates suggesting potential rate cuts in 2024. This interpretation led markets to anticipate the initiation of quarterly rate cuts starting in June. As investors await the June SEP update, there is speculation about further adjustments in GDP estimates, PCE chain price indices, and the potential revision of rate cut expectations.   Analyzing the labor market reveals a complex picture of recovery and ongoing challenges. Payrolls have shown resilience in 2024, surpassing the previous year’s averages, albeit with variations across sectors. Despite improvements, the jobless rate remains a focal point, with fluctuations reflecting broader economic conditions. Additionally, metrics like the U-6 rate and wage growth provide insights into the labor market’s health and potential inflationary pressures.   Inflation Trends and Consumption Patterns: Inflation dynamics have been closely monitored, particularly amid recent fluctuations in commodity prices and supply chain disruptions. While recent CPI and PCE chain price measures suggest some moderation in inflationary pressures, concerns linger about the sustainability of these trends. The Fed’s attention to inflation remains paramount, shaping expectations for future policy actions. Consumer spending, a key driver of economic growth, has exhibited resilience despite ongoing uncertainties. Real personal consumption expenditures (PCE) have maintained positive growth rates, contributing to overall GDP expansion. However, shifts in consumption patterns and potential impacts on future economic performance warrant careful observation.   Market Expectations and Implications: As the FOMC meeting approaches, market participants are closely monitoring economic indicators and policy developments for insights into future market dynamics. The verbiage of the Fed statement and subsequent press briefing will be scrutinized for any hints regarding the timing of potential policy adjustments. Investors should remain vigilant and adaptable, considering the evolving economic landscape and its implications for investment strategies. The upcoming FOMC meeting holds significant implications for investors and economic stakeholders. Understanding recent economic developments, market expectations, and potential policy shifts is essential for navigating the dynamic financial environment. By staying informed and proactive, investors can position themselves to capitalize on emerging opportunities while managing risks effectively. Always trade with strict risk management.
