  1. i think i may buy some sds , ultrashort s&p 500 pro shares, there a mind twister. trade 200% the inverse of the s&p.

  6. I think this is part of the journey of becoming a professional trader and learning to separate your emotions from the trade. Lots of psychology actually involved in the market, in my opinion.
  7. What ever you are comfortable with, no set numbers, I just play it as it comes, could be 0-100,000's. Also depends on your system and style.
  8. nice torero also i watch volumes at critical levels, IE increasing or drying up
  9. there are always opportunities. sometimes you have to tighten your stops, reduce your size, tweak your system. in the crash of 87 some of the largest gains were made from people that bought the bottom at 1:30 and sold an hour later.
  10. just give me the charts, sometimes I dont even no the name of the symbol I'm trading. Just scanning for a setup.
  11. only risk alotted amount of capital to each trade, myself 1-2% trade what you see not what you think!

  13. looks like we may be set up for a retracement to the 11,600 area.
  14. since 1953 S&P daily percentages of times market closed higher than previous day (1953- july 2005) monday 47.2% tuesday 51.2% wednesday 55.8% thursday 52.2% friday 56.6% Also have read recently that most traders are having best results tuesdays and thursdays.
  15. i would say the exit is most important for the fact that capital preservation is one of the first trading rules. if you dont protect it you will not be around very long. and with good exits you can be wrong on more than 50% of your trades and still be profitable. have a good and profitable day....
