Love this forum!

I have been watching the forum for about a month and just wanted to introduce myself and tell you how much I really appreciate this forum.

First, the introduction. I have been trading for about 10 years and have traded many different markets. My preference is stocks and futures, with my focus mainly on index futures. I am preparing to trade full time again and your forum will enhance my success greatly. As I go along, I hope to be a consistent contributor and I can assure you I will be hyping this site at every opportunity!

Now, a quick word on why I like this site so much (I really can't stand forums for the most part, but read this one every day)! The biggest complaint I have about most forums is the animosity that some people have against whatever the subject may be. Most subjects will start on topic, but become an ongoing argument. I've seen so many people with a legitimate question be chastised for no other reason than the person has nothing better to do but put everyone down. The anonimity that forums offer can bring out the worst in people.

Your forum is nothing but helpful and I appreciate the way you keep things on topic. I also think your standards are very high and I appreciate that! It seems everyone is trying to contribute and not use this as a platform for their insecurities. Finally, the content is second to none!

I hope the integrity of the forum remains and I plan to be a long time member. Thanks again and happy trading to all!!

Ashmat

Thanks for the kind words ashmat :) We certainly do try to have be nothing like those "other" forums....of which I know just the one(s) you're talking about. Everyone here is more willing to help than anyone would ever expect, and it makes the time spent here more worthwhile. On "other" forum(s) I'm usually scared as anything to post up something that I'm thinking, 'cause I know I'll get blasted! HA! Not here...we try and keep things very courteous and clean because we know where people are coming from and where they want to go with their trading. We've all been there and this is a place to help, not hurt, both the experienced and not so experienced traders.

Thanks again for the kind words, and welcome :)

Welcome to Traders Laboratory Ashmat. Thank you for the compliments. We try to maintain the highest quality in terms of content and respect towards one another. If I see a user bashing another member without anything useful to contribute, I will usually ban them immediately. They can take their attitude somewhere else. The members here are great :) with everyone willing to help one another improve as a better trader no matter their experience level. Glad to have you here Ashmat and I'll see you in the forums.

Hello,

Same here - I mean I really admire this forum. Great job!

I trade one market: Warsaw Stock Exchange index futures, in different time frames - intra, swing and long term (no intemediate trend trading). I keep a keen eye on S&P though, because of its impact on any other stock market on the planet. So these days I watch the all time high attempts with some of you and it looks pretty optmisitic on S&P futs for today open while you are still asleep:)

I use systems for decision making as to which direction is allowable for a given day and discretion in trade execution.

Regards,

Jake, Warsaw

Asham, same here. This is the only forum that I look every day.

If Soul permits, I might start a tread on YM swing trading system signal. and let other see how good or bad they are.

    • Question: To those that had/have cancer, what were the signs that made you think “something is not right here” to make you go see a doctor? Answer: So, 5/25/2018, I woke up, got ready for work, and as I walked to my car, I started gagging. Like something was stuck in my throat and I needed to clear it. And then it went away.   But 10 minutes after that, I was T-boned at 40mph on the driver side door. But what made me see a doctor was while my muscles felt better and bruises were going away, the gagging still continued, I started having fevers, my neck felt swollen, I was having such a hard time breathing, and I'd have random sharp pains in my chest, but not from where the seat belt saved me.   2 weeks after the accident, I finally see an urgent care doctor, who looks me over, tells me I'm fine, but luckily requests a neck X-ray. And I ask for a chest X-ray, which he rolls his eyes but let me have (most of my pain was in the neck, so I understand).   The very next day, he calls and says “So, that chest X-ray shows there's a 4 inch mass on your heart and lungs, and your lungs have been filling up with fluid, as well as in your pericardial (heart) wall. We need you to come in tomorrow.”   Turns out the big mass, due to the accident, caused my heart and lungs to tear and fill with fluid, the swollen neck and gagging was caused by 2 metastasized tumors, and the fevers and weight loss were symptoms. Stage 4b Hodgkin's Lymphoma.   But thankfully, we went very aggressive with chemo (and had a lot of bad side effects that don't normally happen to patients), and now I'm about 16 months cancer-free. Yay lucky X-rays! • As a man, the reality of life is the harshest part. I don’t mind looking older or becoming weaker over time; it’s nature.   Have you ever heard that the only people who will be loved unconditionally are women and children? Men will only be loved as long as they can provide until they are no longer needed. It doesn’t matter if you already did your best to get your kids to the best school or get the best things for them, if you stop before they’re done with it, there will be no thank you. The only thing they will remember is that they have to quit school at 15, ignoring all the previous 15 years of life you provided for them. The only people who will accept you, no matter what, are your parents. But in this situation, you might be that ungrateful child.   EDIT: Wow, I didn’t think this would get so much attention.   For those who disagree, I can only say that everyone has their problem. If you don’t get the chance to face such a thing, be grateful. Remember, sometimes what you throw in the garbage is something that someone wishes ever to have.” – ElZee, Quora   Profits from free accurate cryptos signals: https://www.predictmag.com/
