Our Strategy

The success of our automated trading programs fully relies on our systematic strategies which are evolved from proprietary algorithms applied across several time frames. The system strategies capitalize on both trend and range trading. These strategies are continuously monitored analyzed as well as regularly updated. As you can appreciate it, studying and refining these strategies and making them work together took years of analysis, testing and live market experience.

It is our aim therefore to provide the opportunity to investors to participate in these automated trading programs resting assured that these programs are applying successfully a sophisticated trading logic based on many parameters, time frames, strategies, leverage and risk management controls as opposed to traditional asset management programs that are fully dependent on the human factor.

How it works?

The systematic and proprietary automated trading programs that we use relies on three key pillars all contributing to a regular and sustainable performance as briefly explained below:

The directional system based on the entry/exit multi timeframe set of trading systems. The overall design of this trading system addresses frequent market anomalies (i.e. an oversold condition in an uptrend) and the logic behind it integrates separate trend and range components.

The risk management system seeks to limit losses during unfavorable market moves. It is subdivided into three routines: systematic stop loss placement, number of traded markets, and an individual/global management of open positions. Careful structuring of these elements is the driving force behind the capital protection system.

Finally the money management system selects the most appropriate position size according to the past and current account balance, and in doing so, greatly improves the gains of a strategy without increasing its risk. Money management is still not so widespread in Europe in spite of its high value, but since our favorite automated trading program is spearheading its use in our programs is evident and necessary.

Overall, several strategies in total contribute in a non-linear fashion to the managed account performance. Additionally the systems are monitoring and using approximately several different liquid pairs so as to generate a very high number of transactions, allowing the different programs, based on different investment profiles to reach a little faster the desired level of statistical validity. In fact every single strategy component is integrated on the basis of its contribution to the overall risk reward profile.

Q: How is profit share/performance fee calculated? What if there is a loss?

A: The profit share is calculated from the net profits per month from the "watermark" of previous highs.

If there are no profits in a given month, there are no fees charged. The high equity point established after incentive fees are calculated creates the "watermark" which must be surpassed before any future profits may again be calculated.

Example: you start with $ 10,000 in an account with an fee of 40%, and during the month there is $ 4000 in gross profit. The incentive fee deducted would be 40% of $ 4000, which is $ 1600, so your net profit would be $ 2400, and your account would now have a "watermark" new balance of $ 12,400. If in the next month there was a loss of $ 1000, there would be no fee deducted, since there is no profit, and your new balance would be $ 11,400. Your "watermark" is still $ 12,400. In the third month, if there was $ 3000 in gross profit, then the incentive fee would be calculated on only $ 2000 of that, since the first $1000 in profit gets your account back up to its "watermark" of $ 12,400. So the incentive fee would be 40% of $ 2000, or $ 800, and your net profit for that month would be $ 2200 (which is $ 1000 + $ 1200), and your new account balance would be the new "watermark" of $ 13,600 (which is $ 11,400 + $ 1000 + $ 1200).

Q: How do I withdraw funds from my account?

A: To withdraw funds, you simply execute a withdrawal just as you would normally from any other brokerage account, according to the procedures the broker uses. Usually this involves submitting a form that you sign requesting the withdrawal, which also specifies the means by which you wish to receive the money, such as by bank wire or check. See the broker's website for details.

Q: Does the trader for my managed account have access to my funds?

A: No, the funds in your Forex trading managed account are in your name at the broker. You are the proprietor of this account and the only one who can make deposits to or withdrawals from this account.

Q: If I do not withdraw profits, do they reinvest -- i.e. compound -- automatically?

A: Yes, eventually profits left in your account will be considered an addition to principal, and will be factored into trade size calculations for future trades. How long it takes before they are included varies according to the period used for assessing profit share deductions and the trade strategies used in the managed program. Some account programs use cycles of trades that are interconnected, and it takes times for new funds to be fully integrated in the cycle. It could take up to a month before your profits were fully reinvested.

Q: Can I stop my account from being traded at any time I choose?

A: Yes. To stop trading, you just send us an email to us to ask to stop trading.

Q: Will my account have exactly the same results as you post on your website or other?

A: Individual results may vary. The results in your account should be very close, if not identical to what we post here. The main reason is the the datafeed is different on different brokers even same brokers! My systems are all base technique, so different datafeed will result in different results. But usually the performance different is not big. The second reason is the execution quanlity is different for different brokers especially then the trades size is big. There is also some other factors can also result in the different performance. If your results are not identical, they may sometimes be a little better or worse, but in the long run will be extremely close to those in other accounts. Do be aware that the first month you join a program, your results will not be the same, since your account did not fully participate in trading for the whole month. With some programs, it may take up to several months for your account to be fully integrated in all the trades the program is taking. We strongly encourage an evaluation period of at least 3 months to guage the performance in your account.

Q: Can I refer clients to you?

A: Yes. You can see the details in the ‘Refer a Friend'. Please visit our website: Home

      Hi GUYS, Happy Wednesday!
I'd like to share daily forex analysis from Followme, hope this information helps your trading.
Today, Let's focus on AUD and NZD.
AUDUSD is trading at 0.6761; the instrument is moving below Ichimoku Cloud, thus indicating a descending tendency. The markets could indicate that the price may test the cloud’s downside border at 0.6765 and then resume moving downwards to reach 0.6635. Another signal to confirm further descending movement is the price’s rebounding from the descending channel’s upside border. However, the scenario that implies further decline may be canceled if the price breaks the cloud’s upside border and fixes above 0.6825. In this case, the pair may continue growing towards 0.6905.

NZDUSD is trading at 0.6447; the instrument is moving below Ichimoku Cloud, thus indicating a descending tendency. The markets could indicate that the price may test the cloud’s downside border at 0.6455 and then resume moving downwards to reach 0.6315. Another signal to confirm further descending movement is the price’s rebounding from the resistance level. However, the scenario that implies further decline may be canceled if the price breaks the cloud’s upside border and fixes above 0.6525. In this case, the pair may continue growing towards 0.6645.

      Hello everyone!
I am an advanced trader, with many years of experience (about 15 years - 10 living exclusively from this)
I am going to give you some tips that you must know:
There are going to be many people who tell you that trade is easy, that with only crossiing a line  with another one you will win a lot of money.... and that´s not true.  No, Sir, reality is far away from that. Many people who start arrive here with the hope that someone "gives them" a free method, they watch youtube videos thinking that this will give them the "strategy" and in a few days they realize that it does not work for them - they lose money - and then They go looking for a new one ... and so on. YES, IT´S TRUE YOU EARN IN TRADING, A LOT. BUT THINK: for a few to win (10% + any BROKER) many others must lose (90% people). YOU MUST HAVE A MONEY MANAGMENT FORMULA ( you can email me) People study so many years to live on this, not because they are dumb, but to know what they do, when, and have absolute effectiveness. It´s very easy to get lost here: do not disperse, jumping from one to another strategy WILL NEVER give you money, it will only waste your time and make you nervous when trading. PEOPLE WHO CHANGE THEIR METHOD CONSTANTLY : LOOOOSE ALWAYS.   If you have the knowledge to develop it, take your time and do it.  Always try it first on DEMO for at least 2 weeks! If not: search to buy a solid strategy (no you tube videos pleassse ! Avoid losing money! ) This is like any business, it requires some capital to start (capital = money in the broker + solid made /purchased strategy) If you are lost: I RECOMMEND YOU NOT TO WASTE TIME IN YOUTUBE, JOIN PEOPLE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCE AND IF YOU ARE GOING TO BUY A METHOD ... PLEASE !!!! DO NOT BUY 10 BAD AND CHEAP METHODS, SAVE MONEY AND BUY ONLY 1 BUT EXCLUSIVE AND MUST ALLWAYS HAVE SUPPORT !!!!!  Do not buy Signals! They never keep up with constant profits! One week will win and the next will lose. Nothing that does not depend absolutely on you will give you the money you are looking for. And if you do not have a strategy (made or purchased) do not even try PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE: DO NOT USE REAL MONEY! AT LEAST 2 WEEK DEMO FREE HELP HERE!!!!!  IF YOU FOLLOW MY ADVICE YOU WILL BE PART OF THAT 10% WINNER, email me.
      Have a nice trading day

So I've been 18 for about 4 months, since I turned 18 I started up an account, and basically thought I was doing amazing because of beginners luck, put in some of my savings and managed to do well, some days I would make £200, one day I even made £900, after time I lost my profits and made a loss as well. I've realised I need to spend the time analysing the market and making technical judgments. I'm trying to read more and spend a lot of my time looking at the charts. is there any advice people can give me. and is making 5% a week a realistic goal to set myself? before anyone assumes that im looking for a get rich quick scheme, im certainly not, I see every loss ive made as a lesson and ensure that I learn from each mistake I make.
any advice about indicators, strategies, how to analyse the market, or even analysing earning reports would help me.

Firebird is an indicator to identify the price spikes in the market. Firebird indicator first calculates a 10-period moving average, then shifts this moving average a certain percentage above and below the 10-period moving average. The shifted averages are drawn on chart as the red and green line. When price touches these lines, price spike is identified. Usually after a price spike, the trend reverses for some time. The indicator can be used to take advantage of this price behaviors. In daily chart usually the 10 period MA is shifted by 2 percent to form the price bands. On lower time frames like Hourly, Four Hour a smaller percentage price shift is used like 0.5% . The important consideration here is most of the price bars must be contained within the upper and lower bands.
When price reaches above the upper red band, a sell position is opened. When price reaches the lower green band, buy position is opened. Trades can be managed with proper stop loss and take profit. In the picture, Firebird indicator is attached to daily chart of EUR/USD with 2% shift on MA. Note that almost all price bars are within the price bands. And when price extends beyond these bands, price trend reverses and comes back into the bands.

How to reduce eroding Forex slippages? Slippage is more likely to occur in times of higher volatility (perhaps due to market events) and it makes a market order at a specific price impossible to execute. Such times are when large orders are executed, when market orders are used and when there is not enough interest at the desired price level to keep the expected trade price.

Slippage is neither negative or positive movements, it is simply the difference between the expected purchase price and actual executed price. Since the corresponding securities are bought and sold at the most favorable price available, an order can result differently. In this situation, most forex dealers will execute the trade at the next best price.  In forex world, the market prices changes fast and the slippage happens in times of delay between the order placed and its completion.

Slippage is the difference between the expected filled price of a trade and the actual price filled. In other words, when your trade is executed at a worse price than requested, so it is “slipping” from the original order price. It happens between the time that a trader enters the trade and the time the trade is made. It can happen to everyone in any given trading market; stock, currency, or commodity.

This may be caused by an ineffective broker, increased liquidity and fast market. The forex market is very liquid and there are limited amounts of slippage.

      Share your Idea Please
      Thanks!

    • Hi Humble, I was (mis)fortunately enough to have received an injury that took me out of work the last 2 weeks. During those two weeks, I reviewed this entire thread as well as your trading log. I am curious how you are doing as well.  There were many things I took away from re-reading this thread and saving over 1000 pages of notes. The biggest thing that I believe that attributed to success was Thales' warm-hearted compassion for self and others. He demonstrated this time after time even stating that he gets stopped out to the tick at least once a week and it is ok. He also consistently told other traders to take it easy, not beat up on self, and mistakes are actually ok.   Here's why I believe self-compassion/trust is actually the missing piece so many of us have yet to find consistent success. When I take a loss (or miss a gain) I feel as if I did something wrong -> I then criticize/punish myself -> I then seek to avoid self-inflicted pain by searching for remedy -> I then change/modify trading plan, add indicators, or adopt a brand new strategy/guru in hopes that I now have the remedy to not have to experience the automatically generated self-punishment associated with a loss (or missed trade). This cycle continues ad infinitum and it is now many years later in the same game.  I was listening to Mark Douglas' workshop last night and he said that the key to success is having the belief in your own consistency. Put it another way, do I believe that I can trust myself? If I beat myself up for an outcome that I have no control over than I cannot trust myself. My mind would do what it can to prevent this self-inflicted pain from re-occurring by not following a consistent trading plan (loss avoidance or chasing trades). The only way to become successful (consistently profitable trader) is to be able to maintain self-trust no matter what the next trade outcome is. To do that, I must completely reprogram what a loss/mistake means by thinking in probabilities.  Mark Douglas has a recipe to help develop this sense of probability thinking in both of his books, which I'm sure you've already read. If not, the simple premise is, execute a simple trading plan that includes a quick scale out and become acclimated to the random nature of the results. Do this for 30 trades without change. The purpose of the quick scale out is to develop a sense of consistently taking money out of the market. We all started with very positive intentions of creating freedom for ourselves/family and yet it is this exact agenda that causes us to than make ourselves feel bad for not achieving such results. I am now giving up any egoic notion of what a consistently profitable trader means. I take no egoic pride in being consistently successful at swimming or walking. There is no reason for trading to be any other way. Any other way will lead to failure. Imagine how my walking will be if before take each step, I had to ask, is this the right step to take with the right foot? What if I trip? What if I step on sh**? I would not very much want to walk anywhere. With this all said, I am going to restart this thread with the above Mark Douglas exercise. I will also add the last post Thales posted here: This thread is nearly six years old. The nut of this approach is to enter the first higher high long or the first lower low short at a significant support or resistance level. If you are not seeing success, two areas of concern might be as follows: 1) You are taking entries all over the place, and not at price levels that have had prior and obvious significance. As price travels from significant support to significant resistance, it will make any number of "lower lows" along the way higher as normal pullbacks and consolidations take place. If you are going to trade in the middle of nowhere, trade for continuations rather than reversals. Ideally, you refrain from trading in the middle of nowhere completely. "Obvious" means even a nine year old looking at the chart can point to the last "Big High" or the last "Big Low." 2) You are cutting profits short. Most who try this approach have no problem with the corollary of cutting one's losses short, especially as the stop level is "built into" the "set-up." However, most also succumb to the too great temptation to cut profits short by moving the stop to breakeven before the re-test of the entry or a HH or LL in favor of the trade direction. The cure for (1) is to pick a sufficiently liquid market, do your homework before the market opens, identify those areas where you will be looking for a trade, and then only trade if and when price reaches one of those levels and only if price exhibits the behavior defined by the set-up. Trade one market until you get it. After you get it, most should probably still just stick with one instrument. The cure for (2), assuming you have entered based on the set-up conditions at an obvious S/R level of prior importance, is to set your stop loss, set a profit limit of at least 1 if not 2 times your risk, set an alert via text, email, sound, or what have you that will alert you to the trade being closed, leave the room, and do not come back until you've been stopped for a loss or limited out with your profit.   The purpose of the simple trading exercise is to develop belief in self-trust and trading in probabilities: 1) Identify S/R zones on the weekly/Daily/4HR on EU, GU, EJ, AU. 2) Watch order flow as price enters these zones and take the first 15min 123 or limit PB if missed the trade. 3) Fixed targets, 1 at 1R (for Mark Douglas), 1 at next S/R and Fib confluence area based on swing of similar size. If 1R target is too small based on S/R or if it is less than 20 ticks, skip the trade. 4) Stop or targets, no trailing stops. 5) Before each trade, ask "Is this action I am about to take contributing to my belief in consistency and self-trust?" If it's a no, than don't take the trade! I will be using a $100 forex.com account, assuming 2tick spreads, betting 5% per trade. I will take 30 trades before any adjustments. My hours of operation will be 8am EST to 11:30am EST and 7pm EST to 9pm EST 5 days a week. I will also keep a weekly review of my progress with the following questions: How did I do this week with respect to developing belief to consistency and self trust? How is my trading plan developing? Have I stuck to my plan or did I deviate? What beliefs contributed to such actions? How was this week compared to last week?  How many ticks/R units gained or lost this week?  What will I do to move forward into the next week? What steps can I take?  How is my progress thus far? (Scale of -10 to +10)    Best, J

    • Date : 20th August 2019. MACRO EVENTS & NEWS OF 20th August 2019. FX News Today * Trade talk hopes and expectations of further stimulus measures kept stock markets underpinned during the Asian session. * Treasury yields fell back as hopes of fiscal easing were scaled back somewhat. * The US administration denied plans to cut payroll taxes to support growth and Germany’s reported contingency plan for a fiscal package in case of a deep recession, are clearly not the central scenario for now. * The 10-year rate is down 1.5 bp at 1.591%, JGB yields dipped -0.1 bp to -0.241%. * US President Trump called on the Fed to cut rates by “at least 100 basis points“. Fed’s Rosengren meanwhile pushed back against further rate cuts, saying that he is not convinced that slowing trade and global growth will significantly dent the economy. * Comments from US Commerce Secretary Ross that the US will delay restrictions imposed on some of Huawei’s business operations helped to underpin sentiment, although. * RBA Minutes:  The minutes to the early-August RBA policy meeting were released without surprises, affirming its wait-and-see-easing-bias stance while repeating its view that the weaker currency will help exports and tourism. * Italian BTPs are underperforming this morning, ahead of PM Conte’s showdown in the Senate, although it seems Salvini’s attempt at a power grab may be backfiring as his coalition partner is trying to form an alliance with opposition parties. * Topix and Nikkei are currently up 0.7% and 0.5% respectively. The Hang Seng is up 0.09% but the Shanghai Comp down 0.01%. * European stock futures are slightly higher, as are US futures after a largely positive session in Asia. * The WTI future is trading at USD 56.30 per barrel. Charts of the Day Technician’s Corner * The Australian dollar has traded firmer and, to a lesser extent, the New Zealand buck. AUDUSD printed a 5-day high, at 0.6795, as did AUDJPY, at 72.36. Among the other main currencies, there has remained a lack of directional impulse. EURUSD has remained settled in the upper 1.1000s, holding below 1.1100, and USDJPY has become anchored around 106.50. The Dollar hasn’t been much affected by US President Trump’s call for the Fed to cut rates by “at least 100 basis points”. Overall investor sentiment is much less frayed that it was last week, with expectations for stimulus in major economies, along with Trump’s partial climbdown in his trade war with China, assuaging recession fears. Main Macro Events Today * Manufacturing Sales (CAD, GMT 12:30) – Manufacturing sales are anticipated to grow 2.0% in June after a 1.6% rebound in shipment values was revealed during May and following a 0.4% decline in April. The surge in transport equipment sales is consistent with the improving economy and as such fits with the BoC’s overall view that the economy is improving after temporary weakness in Q4/Q1. Support and Resistance levels Always trade with strict risk management. Your capital is the single most important aspect of your trading business.
