  1. Soultrader Thank you. I've watched it and it helps. Because I'm such a novice, I'm not picking up the nuances in this. I'll investigate more on pivots to get some background info. If you know of any systematic source I can get to, it will certainly help me considerably. Once again...thanks a million. JLOW
  2. Dear friends I've been trying to view this video since yesrerday but have been getting this message: "The Camtasia Studio video content presented here requires JavaScript to be enabled and the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player. If you are you using a browser with JavaScript disabled please enable it now. Otherwise, please update your version of the free Flash Player by downloading here. " I've tried enabling the Javascript and also downloaded the Flash Player but I'm still getting this message. I've viewed the other videos and they were fine. Does anyone else have this problem? Regards JLOW
  3. Hi! Just found this forum 2 days ago and can't get enough of it! Thanks to all who are willing to share their knowledge. I'm new to trading - only 1 year. The thing I've learnt about trading is it is very hard. Much harder than what the glossy advertisements on trading education is prepared to admit. I've done a bit of Gann, Fibonacci, trend indicators. Did poorly with Gann. Fibonacci is a bit better but nothing to crow about. I have make some wins but more losses. The losses seems to be greater than the wins. Therefore, I'm in the red. After one year of trading and long hours of study, I feel like I'm going nowhere. I don't really know where to start because even in this forum, there are great concepts but I guess they're more for people who have advanced to a certain level. But I'm going to persist because I've got no where else to go. I trade stock and I do end-of-day stuff. Very basic stuff. Don't even trade indices (I think that's what it's called). Any help I can get will be much appreciated as preserving capital is hard and getting the capital to trade is not easy. Hope to have a long and great association with all of you! Regards JLOW
  4. Soultrader, Thank you for your prompt response. I tried watching the video but don't seem to be able to run it. I'll have to check with my IT friends as to why this is so. Your other videos were fine. It's just this one I'm having difficulty with. WSAM29, Do you know where I can learn price action and the relationship it has with volume? I just don't know where to start. Regards JLOW
  5. Dear Soul Trader Thank you for making this website forum availabe to all. Could you help me understand how to trade using different timeframes. I've tried using MACD as the basis for determining trend but haven't been successful. Maybe it is because I don't fully understand the subtle nuances of the MACD e.g. angle of the crossover, etc. Reading this stuff makes it difficult. Do you have a video for this? Thanks a million, JLOW
