Soul I too watched this exponential growth and felt similar too brownsfan019 in the same context. Every one knows uniqueness of TL and it shouldn't be jeopardized by spam and frivolous threads . In my case I read a lot all the valuable threads but I don't post like you guys atleast for now(keep it clean!). So when you create premium group you may restrict posting to premium(elite) members but 'view only' access to other members/genuine active members.This is my humble request. My respects to your integrity and best wishes to TL! (mistakenly I created a different user name for chat session -mitrader)

I asked for YM and it is free for now. Anyway 10 RT trades/month requires to waive platform fee. Now I have IB account and it requires $30 in commission to waive $10 datafeed fee. Thank you Dalby and Knytt.

I have Interactive brokers account and data subscription but I can't use TWS or IB data with any chart softwares like Sierra. The problem is I am behind firewall and TWS doesn't work across firewall. TWS should be running to use the IB data with third party charting softwares. But I need only a simple realtime YM chart( like TD ameritrade web based real time chart which requires refreshing but can go up to tick by tick) with volume. I don't need any indicators at all. Refreshing is also ok bcos I am not an aggressive trader now. Mostly I want to look at the trend with volume for learning when I am at work. I Googled for one in vain. I have 10 minutes delayed chart for free. I can even pay a small amount if it is realtime but it should be simple and browser based and work across firewall. Thanks.

trader273 Please tell me what are those two MA's and how you use them. I am a newbie here and I couldn't use MA's effectively.

MA's are good for swing traders as the lag doesn't affect much but for day traders lagging indicators are of no use.

TL Folks Is there any association between POC and PP? How are you relating market profile(POC, VAH, VAL) with Pivot Points? Please throw some light. Thanks in advance.

IB is my broker but I don't have much options to exploit the crucial technical indicators like TICK TRIN charts and market profile trading for indraday. When I see most of the charts and postings by SoulTrader , it seems Tradestation is the best place to take advantage of rich set of technical indicators. Though I wanted to experiment trading ideas from traderslaboratory I don't have any tool in hand to proceed. So most profile traders here have account in Tradestation? Or How do you manage for TICK TRIN, pivot points etc.,?

I know how to use moving averages for swing trading and longterm trading. How to use ema and sma for day trading?
