  1. Brilliant FXgirl, I've been trying to find apps and device for breathing/heart monitoring but I wasn't quite sure how to term or search for things related. Thanks, I will give your suggestions a try. BTW, you know any more apps for the PC? Thanks again!
  2. That's great shooly, I'm glad you still soldiering on! I can see what you did on the 10 min, did you base decision on the higher timeframes? If you did, please post those charts too for educational purposes if you can. imo, if the htf agree with the long setup, I think you didn't get the best price by about 20 points for the long ... but thats what 10k + of hours will do for you
  3. When you start off or if you're struggling, the hardest thing about trading is knowing what can be done or not, what is real or not, what is possible or not etc ..... Its very natural to ask others. When I first started the amount of people that told me that I couldn't do it la .... the ridiculous amount of negativity that got thrown my way What I'm saying is to listen to yourself not others, once you realize independent creative problem solving is 'the' ticket to freedom then you are all set! OP, it may take you sooner or later but if you don't give up then success is just around the corner ... never give in!
  4. That's a good way to think ... its all about your 'own' perception of things. And I also agree with this too. Think about it, if you're thinking about money before, during and after trading, can you see how stressful this is psychologically? Do you really need this added stress to your trading...really?
  5. especially bbq corn on the cob --- add a knob of butter and my secret chicken stock and a pinch of sugar ... yum lol just playing around and bored ... enough!
  6. Lack of freedom of expression, censorship coupled with being a proud nation, I try to be optimistic and believe the success but ... well who really really knows what goes on in the background. not really an educated opinion but I think its healthy to look at a different angle
  7. Guys, Occupy Wall Street started a few weeks ago, then today U.S. Payrolls Rise 103,000 in September, Jobless Rate at 9.1% came out today. IS IT ME OR IS THERE SOMETHING FISHY GOING ON?? Are the numbers fudged to pacify what's going on at present? Mind boggling ....
  8. I read something like this a few of days ago. Cloud over city as elite flee debt - The Standard And this is just one town out of the thousands there.
  9. I do think these protests are about bringing immoral crooks to justice, shutting down WS is like suicide and as a species we're not evolved to live without the element of $ yet. Comon, let's see it as it is --- Wall Street is in control, that means money supply; so control of Government hence control of sheeple. I hope these protests are the start of something big to regain something call ... "freedom" ... which imho is an illusion right now
  10. I have this one The OTO Power Tap Hands-free Massager « Memoirs Of An IT Guy It's pretty nice on the shoulders, it has different settings like heat degree, strength of vibration and you can control the degrees of speed. It sit comfortably on your shoulders so you don't need to move it to one specific area by hand. I bought in Asia so I'm not sure if you can get it in the states. Actually, I learnt this technique from yoga and it helps a lot with the shoulders and neck Stand up, then arch your spine backwards and try and look backwards, position your shoulders so they also are hunched backwards too, hold this pose for as long as possible, stretching your core. Try it gently at first try. This should help because when you face the computer you are hunching forwards so the act of bending backwards helps that out. Also do shoulder shrugs backwards and forwards.
  11. ... does calling your politician really really work? the cancer has spread too much so cutting it out is the only solution btw that vid is pretty disgusting displaying use of one paid arm herd against another just rambling ehhh .....
  12. Planning everything down to the last detail is good. I commend you for waiting until you are ready with the technical side. BUT IMHO I think in most part this is a 'complete waste of time'. If I had to start off again, I would jump into live trading as soon as possible because I wasted 2 years of my trading life 'thinking' rather than 'doing'. Trading profitably doesn't involve a college degree or whatever qualification you have, its all about the live practice that you put in, that will separate you from being a winner and a loser (I hope some regular TL members can pip in and agree with me here). AND I'm not saying bet the whole house, use microlots. As a newbie its inevitable that you will blow your account but you will learn a lot from this experience. Anyway, rambling again ... back to topic Yes, naked price action and SR is my style, I will help you if I can, no probs
  13. I see that too ZDO. I've been trying to find a home for sharing and learning ideas but it's been very quiet for my liking, and I don't really post much here anymore. I admit I'm attracted to TL because of the mind section here --- technically I've no problems (gotten my fixes from kreslik) but the psych articles here from some of the members are pretty darn good. Anyway, not sure why you are setting up a poll for leaving TL, I don't frequent ET or T2W much but I can see those forums are on the same par as FF where balls rule more than brains Just rambling .....
  14. Nice! That female judge nailed it on the head when she says at the end, "It makes everything you worry about so pathetic."
  15. I'm glad you like it. Like I said, it was the first one that really got me going. I have never looked back since. Its just a another state of consciousness, all you have to understand is this ---- past doesn't matter (won or lost trades), future doesn't matter (how many pips you can get from this trade), what's happening now does matter ... first breathe, then calm your heart and mind, once centered, use reason to see the pattern, once you see it pull the trigger and concentrate on how much you will lose if it goes all pear shape. It sounds all fairy but I've been training mind this way for a while and in real time I behave exactly as I trained. Just like in the vid
  16. Wicked! "Don't let someone tell you ... you can't do something. You've got a dream ... you got to protect it. If people can't do something themselves ... they wanna tell you, you can't do it. You want something ... go and get it ... period!" [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6xLYt265ZM&feature=fvwrel]INSPIRATIONAL - HOW GREAT I AM - YouTube[/ame]
  17. Here's mine. This was the real first one that set me off on psychology in trading. Enjoy!
  18. Nice one! Yes, everything starts with breath, that's the key.
  19. Just found this one and I thought I share
  20. That's funky TL, my earlier posts are deleted!? ... doesn't matter Yes I know statements can be manipulated that way. My bad but maybe I didn't say it right but I just questioning the trader's live trades since all I see are trades after the fact. Calling out consistent "live" trades would be the way to go. Plus, no need to prove yourself xkr, if it works for you so keep doing what u do
  21. Mate, do you have any live statements from your trades?
  22. Is Ron Paul the victim of a media blackout? Is the news media treating Ron Paul My conclusion is yes, can someone confirm or deny? So next question is "Why"? Maybe you can ask "How" and follow the breadcrumbs
  23. If it was for a couple of million I may understand for cultural projects but 770 million for a sewer system?? ... outside US?? Personally, I just think it's any way of legal money laundering
