  1. Here's one Ive used regularly for the last 3-4 years. Its not perfect in terms of immediate updates of actual numbers . Its free and i get all the upcoming news i need. Open it , minimise it and thats all. I set mine up for 5 mins so just before the news release the alarm goes off. On the actual release it will pop up the release. Plus the bells goes off. hahaha Forex Tester Software - Professional Forex Training. Teach yourself forex trading. a free download guys Hope its helpful to some as it has been for me " Newsupdater"
  2. Agree with the couple of posts before. I trained my trading partner for 2 years, just showing what tools there are and how I saw market action. I dont handhold or spoon feed. Now she trades her own method and set-ups. Am kinda a veteran haha, markets are different now. What worked before may not be as effective in today;s terms. In the 80's I used MP on CQG trading bonds. Cos of the hook up with the liquidity data bank. Now traders use MP on different mkts. Veteran traders either keep learning or fade away.
  3. I WAS with GF. Trading the ftse . Comms were too high compared to what i pay now. Also when I convert gbp to usd they convert at minus 300 pips against me. Told them i do better at a money changer. Now u know why am an ex customer. When I inquired about the way off rate on the gbp/usd the partner at the firm shouted at me. Hope this helps....-)
  4. 156 gd to hear. i've stopped using it but have it on another platform. U know TTM has a trading strategy he uses with the scalper ? Its 3 bars late and stop just above the scalper signal. But for Fx I reckon u need to fine tune using it. maybe as a pivot point . all the best I thot it worked relatively ok with i-paramount where u have the time zones established. The H n L for the timezone is determined and scalpersignal close or at H or L cud work out. Just an observation.
  5. Ah yes......reckon the indi is expired. i tried for a while but does not update now. just for info. if it works for u thats great. wishing u lots of pips
  6. Guess I must be a newbie then -)))) Agree with brownsfan. Check out the hidden costs in NT. With a free lisc from amp u can't even access market wizard / or strategies. With many providing bracket orders inclusive in fees, NT makes u buy the lisc. Then there's all the little bugs u might experience. Go read their forum and see what the major questions are. But eotrop indis will be available for NT in abt a mth I think. Thats if u're into the indis. But to be fair its a maturing platform. So am giving it some rope.
  7. I 'm with Nt also but thru mirus. The feed and platform is great for day trading the eminis. Amp is good but I would say customer service is only abt 5% better. Reckon amp comms are better than mirus. Nt is not exactly free which is false advertising. Every little thing like dynamic dom will cost. Guess its the least of the evils out there at the moment.
  8. Guys u can try phillipsfutures based in HK and singapore . I use to use them for asian session futures indices. i also use to proptrade their house money plus my own. As for comms I can check for you and get them down to almost what "locals " pay. "Locals" ie: exchange locals. Let me know and I'll check for you. They are on patssystem. But when I traded with/for them we had the pits . Just doing a favor ...... as a form of contribution to this site.
  9. I think theres a similar indi for mt4. look for scalpersignal in forex-tsd
  10. Guys, Don't bother.....oec does not support many easylanguage codes. Confirm this today. Wasted my time.
  11. Thanks Januson and BR Your kindness and help is really appreciated. Well both codes did not compile. My reasoning is if I can compile jthma then the rest would be a breeze. Will do more figuring out. Januson.....malcolm robinson introduced some volume buy/sell histogram. http://www.futures-day-trader.com He talks about it here. Some inquiries on this indicator also in NT forum Thanks again . Blessings !
  12. BR, Think I figured the problem. Common error is ..unknown function call:jtHMA. Reckon thats why the rest of the indi does not compile. Cheers
  13. Blu-Ray, -) getting errors from compiling. But since I could get the one indicator on , am still trying to figure it out. So appreciate the doc. you posted. Example for jthma....got line 22 error col32 error invalid barsago expr The rest got 2 errors each. Will update as to the progress if am successful. Have a great weekend ! Blessings !
  14. BR, Thank you so much. Will try it now. Hoping for the best for it to compile. Blessings ! cheers
  15. Hi Blu-ray, Thks for ur post/reply. I did use the codes posted earlier and managed to compile the br 2 emacolor to oec platform. But the rest i got errors. Guess I do not know how to paste the jtha portion of the code with the rest. Am doing this for my trading partner and girlfriend. We trade as a team and she uses the squeeze etc. So to help her and also myself , I find the pbf squeeze much better. It would be a great favor if I could compile them to OEC platform. The procedure I have to use is copy the code or open eld files and copy, then compile it . Thats the reason why. Am looking for the suite you posted minus the one I managed to compile. Also am looking for the scalper dots/arrows that they have. That would be the blessing. hope you can help. thanks for replying and God bless
  16. Just to share....I signed up for the demo today. tried to download the codes posted by blu-ray in this forum to test. Only managed to compile one without errors. Anyone has any success with easylanguage codes download to OEC ? Please share . Thanks Have a great weekend !
  17. Thanks Bill for your kind reply. Am trying to compile them to oec platform which apparently takes eld files. Got the 2 fastema to compile but the rest had errors. Will try and try till I know I can't do it. -) So if one can compile then.....possibilities. Have a great weekend Bill. Cheers ps. am not trading today , taking a break, so fiddling around.
  18. Tried copying the code and downloading but came up with errors on all except the 2 fastemas. Blu-ray could I get the source code again please. New to eld files. Anyone here using OEC and have successfully compiled ? Thanks in advance for the help
  19. My two cents worth..... I used to trade the HSI not mini a couple of years ago. Its volatile cos its price weigthed. I watch it with another china index as you all know its related. Did quite well with it and have been asked by a few traders in asia on its idiosyncracies. In a nutshell, its abit like dealing FX spot. Not trading FX but dealing FX. I found it nice for counter trend tading also but thats only for those who can flip a position on a dime. Its a very nice contract to trade.....extremely enjoyable. Don't trade it anymore cos I function only from London time into U.S.
  20. Am up for demo with OEC if i can import easylanguage indis. In fact i did a demo on it last year. But went with NT for one reason or another. the DOM for oec is good. Free compared to NT , which cost. So there's many pluses for OEC
  21. Thanks to torero and Jwhite. Tried trade the news today and its a blast. Brought back some memories listening to the pit. Jwhite....tried to get newsstrikes but no reply. Guess have to be patient. News is important for me as part of what i trade is spot FX. Apart from my broker news page and their text msgs to me the delay is too long. So thanks..... cheers
  22. ZenFire feed is really super. i just started using it and am very satisfied with it. Its stable in fast mkt conditions and slippage on stops are the best I've seen. Now I just need to get a faster processor -) to fully appreciate the speed and stability .
  23. Thanks so much. I put it on candlestick and it works. NT
