thanks torero for the words of encouragement,I talked to the broker last night and they said there was nothing they could do about my problem, we did find out the problem though, when they linked the accounts together i was having problems switching from account to account and i had to go into the platform and check the acct, sym option in all my windows.well i did that and it worked great, but the problem was that i use 2 different computers and i thought it would automaticly change within the platform. So i didnt even think about changing it manually on the second pc.So while i was placing my orders even though it was saying order rejected somehow the orders was going on my hedge account!!!!! All they would have to do is look at the time the orders was rejected on 1 account and the time the orders was placed on the hedge account. But they said they only keep the order rejects for a short period of time and delete them. So there is know way to tell. But i will contact justin today when he gets in. If nothing is done than o well no since in crying over spillt milk:) any thoughts about this torero?

No idea. I never have 2 accounts with the same broker so I'm not sure about this problem you're having. Reason why I don't go with same broker is when the order server goes down, both accounts are screwed. So might want to think about this. Better to hedge your original at another broker to be really diversified. Hope that helps.

Im just trying to figure out how to post my trades, from my main account i trade from im up 12%,and following fridays desaster I lost 20% I guess it wasnt free a free lesson after all:confused: So for now on when i post my gains ill post it % gained only because the pips really dosent matter i could have negative pips and a positive account or positive pips and a negative account because its always figured by % in the end.

So with that said

-8%

I just want to let everyone know, make sure that if u open 2 accounts and have them linked together with efx or mb trading, dont forget to sync all windows before u ever start trading. Learn from my mistakes!!

PS I dont blame efx or mb trading in any way,it was my fault for not being more educated on their platform.

Ater being in pretty good profit I was stoped out for -2%

As expected this will happen many times its only building more confedence in me to see it auctually going as the backtesting results did. Even though i will realize last fridays major loss because of my misunderstanding with the platform, I would like to say that the system had nothing to do with that loss!!! I will keep track of my trades in excel file for how it should have happened only to compare results with my backtesting.

Total- -10%

While driving to work this morning(you guessed it) I was thinking:D I was trying to find something that compares to trading that i have experienced, and i figured it out, hunting. (indicators)Think about it, in hunting u have so many products out there whether it be scents, scent blockers, gamecalls, tracking cameras u name it they got it people buy into these products looking for any edge they can find,if it doesnt work a couple of times they move on try something different.(All the products in the world isnt going to do a bit of good without applying whats written below). Hunting requires alot of patience and dedication, you dont just run in the woods with all your fancy gear thinking your going to kill the state record you may see some deer but getting a shot may be another story, although some people get lucky every now and then::D (Backtesting)You have to have dedication, scouting months before season even begins, looking for a good area to hunt to try and almost pattern the deer in that area. Looking for bedding areas, trails, feeding areas scrapes, rubs etc..placing game camras just trying to understand their actions and looking for the best possible location for a stand.(Trade setups) Patience, sometimes u will set from daylight to dark through rain, sleet and snow without even seeing a deer for days or even weeks passing up smaller bucks in hopes that u may see a trophy. Some will take the first shot of the the first buck that crosses their path and always wonder why they can never find that mega buck !!! (Entering the trade)Now that your patience and dedication has payed off and your in a position to take that shot of the trophy buck, not knowing what to expect when u pull the trigger, but u know that through trial and error to even make it to this point is a great accomplishment. Win or lose the outcome doesnt matter as much because you are starting to find your edge. You understand what it takes and once your there ,there is no looking back !!!!!!

So with that said i dont chase the markets,i dont even care where it goes i place my limit orders(the stand) and set patiently and wait. I let the market come to me If it doesnt come to me then o'well, there is always tomarrow,i dont care what technicals or fundamentals im trading against although sometimes while in a trade i will watch and see how things play out, it doesnt have any decision on the way i enter a trade. So weither this system passes the test or not, it does not matter i will be thankful for the system i have created, for opening my eyes and giving me a better understanding what needs to be done. As with traders and hunters there are many different types. What works for me may not work for u. Its up to each person to find what works for them ,its not something that can be handed to u on silver platter, its whats within yourself!!!

You asked me a while back what the maxdrawdown was on my backtesting ,sorry i didnt answer you then, i must have overlooked it but the answer is 8 consecutive losses -16%.

Ive mostly been outside helping my father with his camper, fooling around with the horses, and yes playing with the kids. Checking the charts everynow and then. Im finding out that finding other things to do helps you from getting to attached to the trade!! (Boredom will make you do some crazy things) Anyway i have a TP of 1.9710 so i guess we will see how it goes!!

    • Be careful who you blame.   I can tell you one thing for sure.   Effective traders don’t blame others when things start to go wrong.   You can hang onto your tendency to play the victim, or the martyr… but if you want to achieve in trading, you have to be prepared to take responsibility.   People assign reasons to outcomes, whether based on internal or external factors.   When traders face losses, it's common for them to blame bad luck, poor advice, or other external factors, rather than reflecting on their own personal attributes like arrogance, fear, or greed.   This is a challenging lesson to grasp in your trading journey, but one that holds immense value.   This is called attribution theory. Taking responsibility for your actions is the key to improving your trading skills. Pause and ask yourself - What role did I play in my financial decisions?   After all, you were the one who listened to that source, and decided to act on that trade based on the rumour. Attributing results solely to external circumstances is what is known as having an ‘external locus of control’.   It's a concept coined by psychologist Julian Rotter in 1954. A trader with an external locus of control might say, "I made a profit because the markets are currently favourable."   Instead, strive to develop an "internal locus of control" and take ownership of your actions.   Assume that all trading results are within your realm of responsibility and actively seek ways to improve your own behaviour.   This is the fastest route to enhancing your trading abilities. A trader with an internal locus of control might proudly state, "My equity curve is rising because I am a disciplined trader who faithfully follows my trading plan." • SELF IMPROVEMENT.   The whole self-help industry began when Dale Carnegie published How to Win Friends and Influence People in 1936. Then came other classics like Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins toward the end of the century.   Today, teaching people how to improve themselves is a business. A pure ruthless business where some people sell utter bullshit.   There are broke Instagrammers and YouTubers with literally no solid background teaching men how to be attractive to women, how to begin a start-up, how to become successful — most of these guys speaking nothing more than hollow motivational words and cliche stuff. They waste your time. Some of these people who present themselves as hugely successful also give talks and write books.   There are so many books on financial advice, self-improvement, love, etc and some people actually try to read them. They are a waste of time, mostly.   When you start reading a dozen books on finance you realize that they all say the same stuff.   You are not going to live forever in the learning phase. Don't procrastinate by reading bull-shit or the same good knowledge in 10 books. What we ought to do is choose wisely.   Yes. A good book can change your life, given you do what it asks you to do.   All the books I have named up to now are worthy of reading. Tim Ferriss, Simon Sinek, Robert Greene — these guys are worthy of reading. These guys teach what others don't. Their books are unique and actually, come from relevant and successful people.   When Richard Branson writes a book about entrepreneurship, go read it. Every line in that book is said by one of the greatest entrepreneurs of our time.   When a Chinese millionaire( he claims to be) Youtuber who releases a video titled “Why reading books keeps you broke” and a year later another one “My recommendation of books for grand success” you should be wise to tell him to jump from Victoria Falls.   These self-improvement gurus sell you delusions.   They say they have those little tricks that only they know that if you use, everything in your life will be perfect. Those little tricks. We are just “making of a to-do-list before sleeping” away from becoming the next Bill Gates.   There are no little tricks.   There is no success-mantra.   Self-improvement is a trap for 99% of the people. You can't do that unless you are very, very strong.   If you are looking for easy ways, you will only keep wasting your time forgetting that your time on this planet is limited, as alive humans that is.   Also, I feel that people who claim to read like a book a day or promote it are idiots. You retain nothing. When you do read a good book, you read slow, sometimes a whole paragraph, again and again, dwelling on it, trying to internalize its knowledge. You try to understand. You think. It takes time.   It's better to read a good book 10 times than 1000 stupid ones.   So be choosy. Read from the guys who actually know something, not some wannabe ‘influencers’.   Edit: Think And Grow Rich was written as a result of a project assigned to Napoleon Hill by Andrew Carnegie(the 2nd richest man in recent history). He was asked to study the most successful people on the planet and document which characteristics made them great. He did extensive work in studying hundreds of the most successful people of that time. The result was that little book.   Nowadays some people just study Instagram algorithms and think of themselves as a Dale Carnegie or Anthony Robbins.
