Do I Need to Put My REAL Name & Address in Demo Account?

I want to know that when we registrar in demo account then it is compulsory to put real name, address and other info.

Dont forget that a lot of these systems are linked to live data and regulated companies - depending on how segregated it is these might be regulatory requirements at a guess. Otherwise its just marketing.

If you are having serious issues with revealing this info to a broker or such - then it might be best not to use them. Otherwise Use a rubbish email, fake address and name until you have to actually provide proof to open an account.

Some brokers will ask for a phone number. They won't initialise the demo until they've spoken to you on the phone. This is probably just a way to guarantee that you have given correct info before they give a free trial (pressumably there is some minor expense to them doing so in terms of exchange data etc).

 

If you have any serious intention of progressing to real trading then I would give real contact details and sign up to demos with numerous companies. If you then start playing them off against one another then some great discounts start to come out of the woodwork. This isn't hard to do as most brokers have their strengths and weaknesses.

SIUYA and BlueHorseshoe thanks for your suggestion. It means we should use REAL Name & Address in Demo Account with only those brokers with them we are really interested, other option is leave brokers we are not interested or use fake info.
