Simple Strategy to Place an Order

Recommended Posts

I am trying to implement a simple strategy for learning purposes as i am planning to build on this script, it does not place orders.

I am using Simulation Account.

I have checked the Automation >> Generate strategy orders... to Yes and

Automate execution using "SIMAXXXXX" account wuth confirmation On.

Here is the code from the Strategy.

If The Close < High of 1 Bar Ago then

Buy ("My Entry") 10000 shares Next Bar at Market;

Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi einja,

The first Buy signal would have taken at the very begining of the chart, Since there is No exit or reversal Orders, you cannot expect further Orders.

Try placing an exit Order. For Example Setstoploss(1000)

Good Luck.
