  1. Well, if you know Schoool Of Patience And Discipline: let me know. Only professional trading courses devote time to such. Psychology is the biggest aspect of hiring in serious trading firm, not boiler rooms. There is a reason why 95% fail: most come for the love of money, not for the love of the game, while battling their own demons, but refusing to accept responsibility for failures in life. It is not a graduate school, that most can afford. Will be lovely if there was one, but it will be a pricey and lengthy process with exclusive acceptance only after selective screening. Sadly, I know traders who have been in the industry for 10+ years, barely making a living, knowing quite well" The Biggest Enemy Is Me", but wasting time working with indicators/algorithms vs. working on themselves.
  2. Re: How I Would Charge for a Trading Course/system -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, Laguna: I'm not sure I agree with you. I think that discipline and patience can be taught. Little kids aren't disciplined or patient but they learn (at least some of them do). Even adults can learn discipline and patience - look at what happens in the armed forces. As for most adults, if they have a good enough motivator, they can learn just about anything if they are given the right information. As to loving trading, I think that people love different things about the experience of trading. I started out loving the "puzzle" aspect of trading. Some love the challenge, some love that they are in control of their time and effort, etc. If traders become successful, I think they love the rewards of trading. So, if you can teach trading successfully, maybe, in the end, you are teaching love of trading. Well, if you know Schoool Of Patience And Discipline: let me know. 4. Trading Is All About Discipline and Patience: It Cant Be Taught. It Cant Be Read In The Book. It Cant Be Bought. I had made an effort to teach trading, and it was the worst headache ever. If I will ever do so in the future: it will be a very selective process. There is a reason, why it is diffcult to get in to Harvard. Accepting a bunch of clueless and naive into trading is a receipe for disaster, but is surely a great scam, which are plenty. Good trader does not need a headache of dealing with clueless: there is much more money made in trading, than teaching how to trade. Most so called Teachers on the net never made money trading, therefore they have to teach...sadly most are teaching only how to lose money. If person is able to do anything that requires great dedication, such as: run marathon, quit smoking, stop drinking, become a yogi, practice meditation: there is hope. Just like all above: trading is doing the same thing each and every day : just like when you start yoga: you cant touch your toes, then one day bingo: You are a Pretzel..So Is Trading.. Ask yourself where do you fit in? Being hones may save you a whole a lot of money. The way you do one thing in life is the way you do everything. Life Is A Habit and So Is Trading: making it healthy or unhealthy is purely your choice. Noone taught me how to trade: after being scammed many times over: I taught myself..just like all above.
  5. Absolutely! Having done few business: it is by far my fav thing to do. When I travel or on vacay: I Miss Trading and will always trade, no matter how much money I have.
  6. Being a girl, I came into trading, being ridiculed by all or watching my friends and family, trying to avoid subject all together..and starting out in August 2008..and being RE investor..it was a pretty wild ride..But I strongly believed that if I followed my passion and walked through enough pain, I will get there, I learned the following: To me trading offers sense of intellectual and emotional achievement on a scale, that very few careers can offer. Adding on top never boring markets, and it is The Funnest Game In Town, as long as You Stay Humble and Never Ever Ever Take Your Wins For Granted. I see it as running marathon: when you start you are in excrutiating pain, that eventually gets better, and one day you notice, that running 20+ miles ( even in thongs) is possible.. or as yoga: when you start you can barely reach your toes( ouch...never ever in thongs)...but suddenly you become a Pretzel! To all of you That Are Passionate About Trading, but are going through pain: and willing to spend 10,000 hrs of your own labor ( few of lucky ones may be a bit less) not with indicators and such: you will get to the fun part eventually. If You Are In Trading Purely For Money: get the heck out ...its aint going to happen: safe yourself a lot of grief.

    Trading Rooms

Found lovely new room: tradingliveonline, that seems to be Kosher based on Harmonics and Fibs: trading ES, but looking at Euro as well. Had not seen losing trades yet, and love the fact, that their seious about Fibs

Josch, I agree with the following: Caroline is Honest and Her Method Is Good as well as her book. And she states clearly in her webinars, that she tried to become a trader, but did not succeed. Profile Traders is a different story and I will stand 100% by what I said: it is a Complete Scam. I found that after all I do much better without any noise: finall followed advise of few succeful traders, and turned everything off. So far only Pirates made any sense to me, but I do not trade ES: that was a great group of traders and decent people. Pandora with Mozart and Vivaldi I found to be the Best Trading Room For Me. Good luck

    Trading Rooms

my fav out of 50+ rooms is espirates : very educational.: Support/Resisitance+ candles Sonny always answers all qeustions, but dont expect anyone to call trades...definetely not for newbies: but if u want to learn and grow: lovely place I hate ES...and do not trade it, but do apply pirates method to my boyfriend Russell: much more exciting, than old and tired ES.
  10. Just a suggestion: Since I am on PST time, and unfortunately most news releases around 5 am PST, I found it very helpful to print out economic calendar, where I highlight news times and which reminds me when next day's news are at the close of my work day. tradethenews is my fav..kept me out of trouble quite few times due to instant, not delayed news release.
  11. I had never been to JP room, but was a member at Huddy's: it was defintely a Waste Of Time! Being a Nice Guy Does Not Make You A Good Trader, who after all rips every one off, and unless you are in complete denial, and hope for a miracle ( which I did, and therefore lasted a month), you need to wake up and realize It Is Just Another Scam, that goes around and around Unpunished! I left Forex, seeing endless scams, knwoing that due to nature of the Global Markets such can not be changed, hoping that Futures market being so heavily regulated, will be unlike FX. Latest scam, that apparently been around for a while is: eminischool...What I want to say about Greg will not be printed...One of the Most Shameful Rooms Ever. I suggest that we all search for sources of information and exchange ideas How To Stop These Scams. It is truly unbelievable, that this much damage is done in the open and so many get ripped off.
  12. Hi GUys, since I do not ahve time to rehas: read this thread: I posted review of many rooms: http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/6/channel-trading-com-7929-3.html#post105282 I Had been in Rea's room for a long time: TOTAL SCAM: STAY OUT: will see nothign but total BS about OBAMA. He never follows his set ups and trades 1 contract??? Clearly dude makes a living by scamming others. EMinidjunkies: same...anyhoo: see that thread..I really had not found a good room: and I had been members to 50+: GOOD TRADER DOES NOT NEED HEADACHE AND PAIN OF THE TRADING ROOM. GOOD TRADER MAKES GREAT MONEY TRADING< NOT SCAMMING OTHERS>Although, some may be good teachers, but can not be traders. Let me know if you had found soemthign decent: which is consistent returns without BS>I had lost hope for such. Best of luck! Laguna
  13. MM, thank you for your non-bias honesty regarding IOAMT: I have nothing to gain by vsharing my opnion, but only to help others to save their time and money. For advanced traders only: if you are interested in trading 15min candles with very strong lines, but have no entries, stops or targets, called you may want to check out Home Again: it is not for those who expect trades called. And yes, he does offer trial, and will answer any questions. I had enjoyed my experience as it is very straight forward Support/Resistance/Trend+ CandleSticks set ups, which is what works for me.
  14. I am only making a point that Fin-Alg supplies all the same as MD but what u pay per life time, is what u pay for MD per month. Ninja+ Fin-Alg is Million Times Better than MD. I did tried L2st ( what the heck is that stands for: anyone knows?) anyone can post trades after the fact: I had been to his room for 3 months.Know 5 people: all left, and all lost money there. Key point: if room has less than 20 members: CAUTION: especially if room had been open FOREVER. Looked at ESPirates room : very quiet, but basic and educational, if you choose to learn and ask questions.
  15. LOl: regarding MD: Exactly My Point : No Independend Positive Comments about MD..I ahve Nothing To Gain, But To Save Pain and Money To Newbies. I had read Al Brooks book and visited his room: extreme scalping is not my thing. I agree with the fact, that he states in his book, that " Those who teach: cant make living trading, and those who make living trading: stay quiet"..A bit of a contradiction? I must say: his book is the most extensive techinical analysis I have ever seen, and I had read quite a few books on trading. I learned that in trading, just like in anything: what works for someone may not work for me. I take 1-3 trades a day with 1-8 points targets depending on market volatility with nothing but Naked Charts+ Fibs. Fibs Work For Me. I do not trade tick charts. I believe in 5min and longer and look for Coinfluence on all levels, while rocking Pandora..Most the I learned in trading is from a good friend, who warned me not to waste money on trading rooms: I did not listen.. Would love to join community of succesful traders, who chat and hang out together without scamming others. Best, L
  16. Mark, Clearly it is A Reply From MD rep: after all it is Your First Post...I know at lest 30+ traders who tried MD and Bill's room..and feel the same..I would encourage all who visiting this post to test Both MD and Bill's room and post comments...To Save $$$ and Grief to Newbies. Blessings, Laguna
  17. You had read my mind: watching his webinar and wondering the same. Can not find any reviews. Please, share if you had used ART.

Just saw prior questions: I did not buy Delta Course: out of 5 of my friends who tested Delta: noone stayed..Keep The Money...There is a much cheaper version of the platform which is indi for Ninja: total license fee is what MD will cost you monthly. here are a comple of links to MP and Delta info I am using MP and had used his Delta iin the past: Final| Financial Algorithms Great guy and worth every penny! Least expensive as well. Know that a lot of people happy with below, but much pricier than Fin-Alg: Investor/RT: Educators in Trading / Investing Had not tried rooms listed above. Currently keeping http://www.tradethenews.com and quite happy: find info very helpful, and getting instant news had been Quite Profitable. Does anyone know Good Instant News Site? Never imagined that I would enjoy : Pit Noise, but listening to order flow had kept me out of trouble and saved me money: staying long when Goldman sells 100..is a bad idea... Thank you to all for sharing!

Thank you Techni Trader, I will take a look at Al's site. After such unfortunate experiences and burning through few hundred k: I was Blinded by all the BS and now I can see: price action is all that matters. Opinion of Fellow Traders is Priceless. Good Luck!
  20. I had been too busy trading, but here is my conclusion after a year in Trading Room Jungle: Most Trading Rooms Are Scams. Good Trader Does Not Need Headache or Liability of The Trading Room. I had been subscriber /visitor to 50+: most are clear junk, and you can see that immediately. Some: like ProfileTraders may take few weeks or so. So here are my opinion on few last ones: 1. Profiletraders and Huddy-Traders: Both Are Junk ( will skip word S above to be Proper): Reza in PT spends most of his time cursing Obama, trades 1 contract ( lol: who can make living on1 ct: and most of his trades are losers). He always blames his crappy trades on Market and Obama. Huddy takes 2 ticks a trade...at the best… 2. Eminitrading school: JUNK: The only good thing is Giles Sweetness: initally seems impressive: after 2-3 visits: These guys make living on Membership: not trading 3. Eminijunkie: Crappiest Room Ever..Clearly takes advantage of newbies: Fibs will become a Curse if you would pay attention to this guy..I lasted 15 min: made me nauseous. 4. MarketDelta: Worst software in Trading: Period. Only 1 person in tech support for entire US>had been member to 3 rooms associated with it: 5: l2ST: if you like to witness trades marked after the fact ( lol: anyone can do it): then this is room for u...after becoming a member and witnessing only 15-20 members became clear..Kam is not a Good Trader and Has No Business BSing . Also, changing inidcators weekly: what does that tell you? 6. Insitute for Auction Market Theory: I tried for 3 days and lasted 15 min each day: company of someone who sounds like angry 80+yr old who is cursing every 30 sec and taking constant losses during that time: was not for me. 7. Order Flow Analytics: NAP TIME...what a..: George pretends to be This Such A Special Room: It Aint.. 8. PureTick: Enjoyed Alex's company....but taking 10+ trades a day is not my thing: although, They contacted me and stated that he made changes to his method. 9. FibQueen: Honest Woman. who talks about hangover in her Sat. webinar: great method, but you can do better after readin her book and trading on your own. 10. Mark Braun: nicest and most helpful guy, trade same method as Fib Queen. but you get much more personal attention: I found that he uses way to many instruments and charts. 11. TradeThe Markets: how can you trust someone if you can't see their charts??? and Clayburg is Pathetic: his system was one of the first things I bought in trading: Old Scammer 12. Millenium traders: JT is sweet and cute..at time may make good trades, but o long term basis: traidng 1 min candles//pretty dangerous: again 10+ trades a day.. 13. Juggernauttraders: Sad Place… These are few that come to mind at the moment: feel free to ask and I will let you know if I had been to whatever room you are enquiring about. Here is My Advise: Remove All Indies and Stare At The Chart: You Will be Amazed How Much You Can Notice once all the background noise and indies are gone. Also: please, stay away from Tick Charts: I learned that most succesful traders take 1-2 trades a day, and they do not trade tick charts.. I personally would love to hear about decent room: I am a consistent trader, but since trading is such an asocial sport: would love to join a Honest and Good Trading Room...If there is one..Pleeeeeez, Prove Me Wrong!

Hey guys, I'd love to start thread to see if there is A Decent Trading Room. Here is my opnion: Here is my conclusion after a year in Trading Room Jungle: Most Trading Rooms Are Scams. 22. I found room to be the bore...I had seen more of channel set-ups, than Market Profile set ups. I had seen him taking and closing trades at BE probably 80% of the time at best..There is a reason why room is so inexpensive: after I cancelled it, I kept getting free invites daily..and had no interest to visit even for free. Although, must say, he seems to be a nice guy..as a trader, I was much more profitable, and learned aboslutely nothing. Since then, I had tried and signed for Profile Traders, where I learned daily and see Profits daily on Live DOM..only 2 losses in 2 weeks..it is soo true " You get what you pay for"..
