Do You Feel Peace After Market Closed? In Particular on Friday?

Recommended Posts

If you feel peace after you conduct trading is a good tool to evaluate whether you do the right thing or not on the trading, I found. If you feel something wrong, then if you can go back to track yourselves to evaluate what's right or what's wrong, I believe that you may gain a more deep insight about your trading. Then try to find a way to correct the factor make your felt not so peace, I believe that it will make your more confidence in your next trade. Cheers,

When something happens out of your control, if you trade to your plan but lose money, you 'should' have peace. If not then there are certainly things you need to address. Like for example fear of failure or perhaps even if you properly understand the plan you've made. If there is something which makes you uneasy about what you did and you've strayed from your plan, that is another red flag. Can you stick to a plan? Is the plan clear enough? Is it a plan which really gives you an edge at all? So I would agree that if you have a feeling of unease or distress, it is probably something worth looking at further and is in fact a powerful tool to advance trading for those who are willing to listen.

If you had integrity with yourself and your trading then you will be at peace, if not, there will be for sure a feeling of discomfort. Following a trading plan and your own rules is essential to keep yourself balanced in and out of trading.

There is nothing more important than to be able to say to yourself: I did what I said I was going to do. Discipline is key!

Hi Eddie,

Thanks for your good comments. I put your factor into a liner equation and add more:

Trade Peace(x,y,z,...)=a*integrity+b*discipline+c*short term profit+d*long term profit+e*risk+f*personal achievement..., where a,b,c,d,e,f are constant. I believe that it will have more factors which very depends on personal demands and situations. Furthermore I believe that these factors are interacted with each other. Now there is a interesting question, could a person control these factors by his own self? If answer is yea, then he is a God blessing person, I think. Cheers,

    • Question: To those that had/have cancer, what were the signs that made you think “something is not right here” to make you go see a doctor? Answer: So, 5/25/2018, I woke up, got ready for work, and as I walked to my car, I started gagging. Like something was stuck in my throat and I needed to clear it. And then it went away.   But 10 minutes after that, I was T-boned at 40mph on the driver side door. But what made me see a doctor was while my muscles felt better and bruises were going away, the gagging still continued, I started having fevers, my neck felt swollen, I was having such a hard time breathing, and I'd have random sharp pains in my chest, but not from where the seat belt saved me.   2 weeks after the accident, I finally see an urgent care doctor, who looks me over, tells me I'm fine, but luckily requests a neck X-ray. And I ask for a chest X-ray, which he rolls his eyes but let me have (most of my pain was in the neck, so I understand).   The very next day, he calls and says “So, that chest X-ray shows there's a 4 inch mass on your heart and lungs, and your lungs have been filling up with fluid, as well as in your pericardial (heart) wall. We need you to come in tomorrow.”   Turns out the big mass, due to the accident, caused my heart and lungs to tear and fill with fluid, the swollen neck and gagging was caused by 2 metastasized tumors, and the fevers and weight loss were symptoms. Stage 4b Hodgkin's Lymphoma.   But thankfully, we went very aggressive with chemo (and had a lot of bad side effects that don't normally happen to patients), and now I'm about 16 months cancer-free. Yay lucky X-rays!
