  • Biography
Wanted to trade for 40 years, but no time. Now I am a common phenomenon -- a total newbie who thinks he can become a successful trader with a lot of hard work. No doubt 90% of all the wanna-be's don't make it. Now it's my turn to try, and I can guarantee only one thing: I will not fail for lack of effort. I'm pumped and have a 6 month plan of learning and paper trading before I loose a real penny. If I can do it sooner, great. If it takes longer -- well, I refuse to loose money if I haven't proven I can win.

  1. Well it seems I have you all beat -- because I have absolutely zero experience. I go under Greenhorn because that's a fact. But I hope to leave that name behind as fast as possible. I know I have to be one in nearly a hundred if I want to make a living at this and I have a year to pull it off. Will try to ask only questions I've already researched. Thanks in advance for all your help. I have decided to do simulated trading with TOS because the account required is only 2K to get all the software with no fee while I'm learning -- and Ameritrade allows paper trading in all markets, too. If anyone has thoughts about trading platforms worth passing on, or educational strategies for newbies other than just to brain-vacuum all trading knowledge I can lay my eyes on, I'm happy to take advice. Let the grind begin.
