  1. Sparrow,

Do you have a NT v7 of the VWAPmulti?

  2. well it does have a setting for time and snooze function, which might not be enough if you'd like to have require ultra precise timing. Also the tea timer restarts every xx:xx:xx you want it to which is pretty much the same but you need to start the process at the right time. But doesn't matter, since someone is willing to write you a custom app, which will have all the goodies you desire. :yes sir:
  3. <@AntiHeiss> friend of mine went to jail last night <@AntiHeiss> he probably isn't getting out for a while <%The_Coolest> y? <+Enyo> why? <%The_Coolest> :o <@AntiHeiss> it was a girl cop, she was pretty cute too <@AntiHeiss> she said anything you say can and will be held against you....he sat there for a while and said 'tits'
  4. There are tons of alarm clock applications around, here is an example.
  5. How about this stuff, it's a tea timer but looks like it got some of the features you are looking for. I haven't tried it though.
  6. After reading about BSC again I was wondering why did the FED loan JPMorgan 29 billion and not BSC itself? JPMorgan picks up 1B of the tab but the acquisition wasn't necessary at all.
  7. Sorry I erred in the pip values and I am not allowed to correct the post anymore, 6Y is $12.5 a pip. Also it seems to be 6J ..., it's been a long time since I traded futures.:yes sir:
  8. Hi, Sorry for this off topic question but since you are talking about futures and I am thinking of trading futures once again my spot account allows it(I'm still several months away) I've got following questions: a.) What's the time when over night margins apply, as a scalper I'm very dependent on leverage(max 1:20) b.) Can anyone tell me the average daily volume for Euro 6E, Pound 6B and Yen 6Y - got yesterdays figures: 6E 220K, 6B not available, 6Y 160K, that's about 2-3 contracts/sec of course distribution isn't even throughout the day c.) as far as I know leverage is around 1:100 is that correct? - 6E: $125K, 6B 62,500 BP, 6Y 12,500,000 Yen d.) Sorry I forgot the pip values for 6E, 6B and 6Y, I think for 6E it was $12.5 a pip - 6E: $12.5, 6B & 6Y $6.25 Thanks guys Edit: stopped being lazy and checked what I could find out myself
  9. Hi Nvesta, Check out this site, I haven't bought any data myself but it's not a bad idea. Cheers

    Reading An Order

Hi Anup, 2. Buy/sell At Market 10,000 Share X. Buy/Sell 10,000 shares at whatever price the market will give you right now no matter if price will go up/down in the meantime 3. Buy/sell 10,000 Share X @ 15.55 Limit. Buy at or below 15.55, Sell at or above 15.55, until your position is 10,000 Shares, you can end up with no or partial fill if price does not spend enough time at the level you desire. No idea about the rest, maybe because I don't trade equities. Cheers Edit: got the limit order wrong, buy at/below and sell at/above
  11. I've just found a cool documentary, it tries to establish a link between astronomy and religion. It's pretty mind blowing and also received an award. The beginning is kinda bit strange but once you get through the first 5 minutes it switches to ordinary documentary style. Check out zeitgeistmovie.com if you're interested. Also features 9/11 and conspiracy stuff ... which might or might not be true. Had to find something to busy myself with because FX is so boring at the moment . Here's the criticism section from wikipedia
  12. Dunno, experiment. Depends a lot on your instrument, the time frame you trade and probably some more parameters I haven't mentioned. I never used it for anything else than entertainment and feeling smug.
  13. pajusa, thanks for the link, I have no idea if she is really trading, with all the writing and seminars she does I guess she'd be well off without it. Since values by fibs don't always match to the pip/tick it's necessary to allow them to be within a range of each other. Let's say you're satisfied with values which are 5 pips apart, for the EURUSD that'd be 0.0005. Maybe that's a better explanation.
  14. The most well known 'trader'(?) who uses fib clusters is Carolyn Boroden, there's a presentation by her on CBOT you can also listen to one of her interviews at this site.
  15. Hi pajusa, sorry I haven't used in a long while, and as coders are we're not very good at doing documentations if not to say abhor it. As far as i know, insert the fib range numbers in the first 2 columns. Let's assume 1.5330 to 1.5390, the 3rd column is for setting a value within two fib values have to be to produce a cluster. E.g. 0.0003 Hope it makes sense and didn't confuse people even more. The program it is still a very crude, I was just toying with ideas and as fickle as I can be, quickly abandoned them. There's a lot of room for improvement, which I am unfortunately not intending to do. Cheers
