I am little skeptic that price of the EUR/USD will keep falling. but we will have to wait and see the opening price.

  4. Saxo Bank See Gold Ending 2015 On A Strong Note Wednesday December 24, 2014 Gold could be set for a strong breakout in the second half of 2015 as a year of consolidation wraps up said one European commodity analyst. Saxo Bank is still working on their 2015 annual forecasts but Kitco News spoke with Ole Hansen, head of commodity strategist for the Danish bank to get his preliminary thoughts on the gold market for 2015. “Major investing firms are still lukewarm on gold,” he said. “But I would be cautious about being too much on the negative bandwagon.” Ole Hansen, head of commodity research at Saxo Bank A last minute drive in equity markets is helping to drag gold prices down and it appears the yellow metal will end the year on a softer note. However, because of the current holiday market conditions, Hansen said investors will have to wait until after the first couple of weeks in January to get a clear direction for the gold market at least in the near-term. Hansen is slightly more optimistic on the gold market for 2015 compared to other analysts as he thinks the yellow metal could end next year around $1,250. But it won’t be a definitive move higher, at least in the first few months of the year; in the short-term, it appears prices will struggle and might even break below the 2014 lows, he said. Hansen said that for the start of the year he could see gold prices fall to $1,100 or even $1,080 an ounce as the U.S. dollar continues to dominate the marketplace and investors adjust to normalized U.S. interest rates.

  6. Professionals have been in trading business for years and are fully established. Amateurs on the other hand aren't.
  7. I am a big fan of stocks so i would say stocks. I have seen traders make more money in stocks than in futures. This is my general observation and may vary for other people.
  8. 1200 was a good resistance on Gold, it seems it broke it, but it can make yesterdays move again, under 1205 we r still short according to me.

As long as the EURUSD below 1.2660 area, I am still looking for selling opportunities. Only a breach above 1.2700 level will I consider for next buying opportunities.
  11. Something on Silver: Silver Seen Starting Slow, Then Gaining Speed Toward End Of 2015 Silver could struggle in the early part of 2015 as markets continue to factor in expectations for Federal Reserve tightening and as growth in industrial demand remains constrained by soft economies in other parts of the world. But by the end of the year, many analysts see silver regaining its luster on ideas that any Fed rate hikes are likely to be modest and industrial demand may start picking up, assuming the economy shows improvement. For instance, TD Securities sees silver averaging $15.50 an ounce in the first quarter but $19.50 in the fourth. Commerzbank looks for the second quarter to be the weakest of the year with an average $16 forecast, but for improvement to $18 in the fourth quarter. Some of the average full-year 2015 forecasts made by firms so far include Natixis, $15.20; Citi Research, $16.50; Commerzbank, $17; HSBC, $17.65; and TD Securities, $17.81. Among consultancies, Metals Focus looks for $16.20 and CPM Group $16.65.

Most traders will be willing to get out of the market at the end of the day, as the volatility should pick up this morning. So rallies all the way up to the 1.2577 level will offer selling opportunities.

Deprecation of Yen has accelerated in the recent days, I would expect some stabilization right now and revaluation of the USJPY rate.
  14. As SIUYA said u dont need to interchange the money to trade a pair that doesnt involve USD. All u need is the specific pre-defined margin requirement for the pair u are trading. Exotic pairs have normally more margin requirements than regular pairs like EURUSD or USDJPY.

  19. If this is all true then thats some serious stuff regarding the security of client's funds at this broker. I have heard many good things abt Ironfx too and that they have very good marketing campaigns. I think its for the traders to decide what they believe in.
  20. My favourite platform to trade shares is also IB . Especially their web trader which is so easy to use. For forex MT4 is good as most forex traders would say.
  21. Survey Participants Look For Lower Gold Prices Next Week Friday November 28, 2014 Most participants in Kitco News’ weekly gold survey said they look for softer prices next week since a Swiss gold referendum is expected to fail and the dollar has been strong while crude oil has been soft. In the Kitco News Gold Survey, out of 36 participants, 19 responded this week -- fewer than usual during the U.S. Thanksgiving week. Five see prices up, while 11 see prices down and three see prices sideways or unchanged. Market participants include bullion dealers, investment banks, futures traders and technical-chart analysts.

I expect another dip to 117.45ish area, which is good for a bullish move. If it continues up from here, I don't have confidence in how far it can go. I'd feel better if it dipped, then took off.
