  1. I have 1328,1335 as resistance, also a squeeze zone between 1315-1318 so I don't anticipate that to be key support. Key support imo, should come in around 1306-07 with major support at 1300-01
  2. Not a contest db, but so did I with a real time call. More than one way of seeing the same thing I guess. No worries, I have no book to sell.
  3. Here's some targets, and you don't even have to remember what was s/r was back in January or earlier.:o
  4. we seem to be testing a key accumulation area that I posted last night.
  5. Here's my opinion on the es tomorrow. For those that are not confident in their drawing of s/r, mp lines work quite nice.
  6. Shall we play a game? Here's a daily chart of citi ©, with what appears to be a successful test of the January lows, or not depending on timeframe and trading plan. A couple of questions : - Is this a lower volume test of supply? - Is this a long signal for you? - if this is a long signal for you, are you calling this a bottom or just looking for a swing? (correction, are you anticipating a bottom? ) - If price rises, does that automatically mean that demand is present or could it possibly be short covering? - How do you distingush between short covering and new initiative demand? -Will wait for a higher low to decide? - Looking for and upthrust and or a no demand bar to short?
  7. Great question Zeon. It brings up the question that I had asked DB a couple of pages back. "Does lack of supply equal demand?" His answer was that 'rising prices' must mean demand.
  8. Here's a couple of free easy to use screen recorders: http://www.jingproject.com/ http://www.utipu.com/app/
  9. Candles, lines, histograms,.Still shows temporary lack of supply and no demand. Have to hand it to you though, your a battle hardened trading board combatant.
  10. Is it simple?, is it straight forward? Does a temporary lack of supply = demand? Does a temporary lack of supply differ when in an downtrend as compared to a up trend? Fear, greed. Do the arrows that I drew show supply or demand? Effort, result. I haven't looked at the outcome of the dated chart but lets assume for a minute that you were already short. Would your temporary lack of supply bar cause me to cover?, or would or should I be looking for areas to add on to my short? Granted, one's timeframe and trading plan come into play when analyzing supply/demand and setups, but don't you think that you oversimplified that chart just a little bit?

  12. Does anyone know if anybody has come up with a 'bell curve type bar' based on mp? My point being if one can define a price pattern, then one can assume that a bell curve pattern could also exist. Confluence (the new "in" way of looking at price ) of the patterns may strongly influence direction.
  13. awesome words soultrader....never give up on yourself, never give up on your dreams!
