  1. Hey Hey, wait for a while, will post the charts. This strategy is discussed in-depth here http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/technical-analysis/10120-relative-strength-internal-3.html#post122770 (mentioned in first post). Shall I copy 4 pages of explanation to this thread? And why do you call them random numbers?
  2. Update: Open Positions: FDX, SLB Closed Positions: DGX(+2.3%), AET(+3.3%), ETN(+8.2%), EOG (+0.8%), CMS(+0.6%), NSC(+1.6%), VRSN(-0.7%) If you want to follow the journal, these are the only posts relevant so far: http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/technical-analysis/11438-divergence-trading-strategy-advanced.html#post133326 Divergence Trading Strategy- Advanced - Page 3 - Traders Laboratory Forums Divergence Trading Strategy- Advanced - Page 8 - Traders Laboratory Forums http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/technical-analysis/11438-divergence-trading-strategy-advanced-9.html#post133835
  3. Yes I know, but I mentioned for those who may be interested to track live trading. (Historically everything looks obvious) BTW about my actual trading, its way ahead of keeping XL journals, lets drop it altogether.
  4. There are only 9 trades initiated so far, each with pre-definition of exit rules (and hence a good aprox of risk/reward). I think there is too much mess there so let me walk you through it. A buy trade is executed when market just starts turning up after fall, and vice versa. Hence the risk in each trade 1-2 ATR (all trades on dailies for easy follow up). The exit method is not defined, but for calculating performance it can be chosen anything from 1-5 ATR. The percentage of winners will depend upon choosing different entry and exit risk, they will lie 40-80% range. These are the only relevant posts: http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/technical-analysis/11438-divergence-trading-strategy-advanced.html#post133325 http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/technical-analysis/11438-divergence-trading-strategy-advanced.html#post133326 Divergence Trading Strategy- Advanced - Page 3 - Traders Laboratory Forums Divergence Trading Strategy- Advanced - Page 8 - Traders Laboratory Forums http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/technical-analysis/11438-divergence-trading-strategy-advanced-9.html#post133835
  5. Maybe we both are talking talking the same thing. Either the entry OR exit method needs to have 'edge'. You can take an entry with a coin toss. But if your exit has edge (which maybe be based on volatility, patterns or whatever), you will still make profit. Now coming to the point what I was demonstrating in the thread an entry with edge, by giving live signals. I started with 9 stocks and say you shorted each with equal money either through short selling stock or through options). Whichever position sizing method you apply, you will find the entry has an edge. Just go through my posts only, linked through each update by quoting previous one. The thread has been downgraded by one member claiming 100% accuracy in his entry signals, so just go through my update posts, linked with each other (5-6 posts among 9 pages of thread). Also to repeat, the intial stop for each entry is the nearest supp/ress, which may be recent pivot high or WRB high. http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/technical-analysis/11438-divergence-trading-strategy-advanced-9.html#post133835
  6. OMG, those are tooo many rules. More rules= more confusion= more bias= more stress= more losses. Try premise based system design, start with a single rule/premise then add one by one. For a very simple and single premise based system, follow this thread: http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/technical-analysis/11438-divergence-trading-strategy-advanced-9.html#post133835
  7. Placing cover stop for DGX(56.20) and AET(40.10), DGX very close to it.
  8. Hi, I have met a lot of traders (actual profitable traders) who have more than 60% winners. I am maintaining a journal, trading a similar method I get around 60% winners. But lets see, any real traders knows these probabilities .5, .6 or whatever in market are not definite, only estimations. You can see live calls here: http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/technical-analysis/11438-divergence-trading-strategy-advanced-9.html#post133855
  9. Actually current market conditions are easier for swing trading. Check this thread for live calls and profit log in stocks: http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/technical-analysis/11438-divergence-trading-strategy-advanced-9.html
  10. More than 80% Calls in profit. But dedicated to the awesome technology which predicts peak/bottom with 100% perfection. If I could get my hands on it, I will own the north American stock markets in couple of years
  11. Update: For entry and exit, the average price (H+L+C)/3 of day on which the signal was generated is used to indicate performance, unless a stop is hit. Closed Positions: EOG (+0.8%),CMS(+0.6%), NSC(+1.6%), VRSN(-0.7%) Open Positions: DGX, AET, ETN, FDX, SLB
  12. Does that means the 50+ members who have called you by all names were stalking you. Can you please post more charts depicting your technology? I am in complete awe about the 100% accuracy.
  13. Great to see a fellow divergence trader. In every book and on internet I see the people going by the conventional way to confirm consecutive pivots, but by the time it is confirmed the risk/reward is already screwed. "Do you use classical pivots for all but the current swing or does your method for measuring diverging not use pivots at all?" See the attached example, I use the classic pivot in prices which may or may not correspond to the pivot in oscillator (the blue spike in lower pane indicates divergence). The typical entry is when market cuts the high of previous bar.
  14. Update: Exit VRSN at today's average price (33.60) Tight profit stop for CMS(20.70), EOG(102.20) and NSC(73.40) Hold comfortably DGX, AET, ETN, NSC, EOG; stop is recent pivot high on daily. All calls in profit, except VRSN. So update dedicated to the technology that predicts peak/bottom with 100% accuracy.
  15. Whats wrong if I expect you to post calls in the same forum where you are posting the charts? Also to remind, I would like to see your calls with near 100% accuracy same as depicted on the charts.
  16. Thanks for the reply. I'm intrigued why you cannot share codes of your indicators, about which there is no secret. You show in historical charts that your 'technology' is able to pick up every peak and bottom. Amazing accuracy. Can you make live calls with same accuracy? If no, then the historical data has been cherry-picked and curve-fitted.
  17. Deanz, calling a trading method as 'technology', using 'scientific' terms are established methods for promotion. Here is a very good article about them Snake Oil Tutorial
  18. I will answer in appropriate thread http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/technical-analysis/5288-trade-flow-harmonic-trade-6.html#post133630 Requesting all to post material relevant to the threads only
  19. "Thus divergence indicates price isn't trending as strongly as it was and price is approaching a reversal." Hi Bob, I explained the same concept in detail as internal relative strength of a stock. You may like to check this thread, from which this strategy follows.
  20. Ohh well, I have not visited your site yet, because If I do, it will tempt me to post the flaws here. That in turn adds more off-topic posts. It all started with 1. Your black box indicators 2. Your claim that my method is BS The first point you need to take care yourself, if you are promoting something so vehemently whats the harm in maintaining live log. You *know* it works, right? For the second, I welcome all critics. That will only help in making this thread a hit
  21. Actually no Google will be your friend to dig up disclaimer and disclosure guidelines. Though you may like to pay a lawyer for running the business a little professionally. All credible vendors (inclusive charting software) mention that their software is sold "as it is" without any warranties whatsoever and dismissing any claims of loss that may occur from use of that software. Also, "past performance is not indicative of future results". Sine you mentioned you are managing other peoples money, I'm curious with whom are you regulated.
  22. Everything depends upon context and details. Share the code for indicator shown in earlier post of yours, since you call yourself highly knowledgeable how about sharing it with forum.
