Today's Netprofit

Can someone please show me how to get the intraday profit /Loss of all the positions traded ? I can't find any reserved words for this. Basically I want the system to stop trading for the day if the total intraday loss is greater than certain amount. Thank you.

NetProfit

 

Returns the total dollar amount of all closed strategy trades, both winning and losing.

NetProfit can be computed by GrossProfit – GrossLoss.

 

 

Examples

 

NetProfit returns 1000 if there are four strategy trades returning –700, 1200, 200 and 300.

 

NetProfit returns 0 if there are no closed strategy trades.

To get the intraday Netprofit, you need to have something like this.

 

Var: YesterdayNP(0), IntradayNP(0), NP(0);
NP = Netprofit;
if Date <> Date[1] then YesterdayNP = NP[1];
If Date = date[1] then IntradayNP = NP - YesterdayNP;
