I was reading a news story about some arrogant hedge fund manager in NY. Apparently the guy made a $400 withdrawal and did not bother to take his reciept . The per next in lin at the ATM looked at it and it had a $2.75 million dollar balance.

The story had been broken by a site called dealbreaker.com

I had never heard of them. Anyone else out there know of them?

Is there reporting reputable?

A fund manager would know how to separate his savings or other bank account with the account that he uses for his daily transactions .

Doesn't the fund manager know the concept of overnight deposit??

Anyway . I guess that memes are frowned upon on this site but I cant help myself

Seems Legit .

PS How can you tell the difference between a fund manager and an ordinary guy ??

there are plenty of fund managers who are hopeless with their own money.

The guy might have been so wealthy it was his everyday account.

He might have been accessing an offshore account (they usually dont show balances) and this was money he was hiding from the wife.....hence the need to withdraw cash for his night out.
