Broker: Max Intraday Loss Managed and Customized Automatically?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'm looking futures broker that allows to automatically close the position according to a certain level of maximum intraday loss even if this amount is below the standard parameters of broker.

For example, we know that the broker will automatically close a position if it exceeds the overnight margin, or other parameters of Risk Management (e.g. it drops below the minimum account size to manage 1 lot, etc.).

Is there a broker with whom you can ask for the automatic closing by specifying the maximum amount that I chose (although more restrictive than the one managed by the broker according to its parameters or funds in my account) ?

Example: I have a an account of $10000, the broker may liquidate the position if it goes below $2000 because that amount is the minimum level allowed the account to open a position, 'allowing me' to lose even $8000 in one day.

I would like the broker would close the position when the loss is as little as $250, cancel all working orders and lock the trading software until the next trading day.

In essence, the max intraday loss needs be managed directly by the broker in accordance with that agreed amount and not by me or my platform through manual or automatic stops.

Do you have any ideas please?

I realize this message has been here since Feb. but just in case you haven't gotten a satisfactory response....... Try Infinity futures. Ask for Patrick. Infinity has what you want.

Yes, Infinity is an introducing broker for Transact, and they have a preset risk daily risk assessment which you must agree to when you log on each time.
