Defensive portfolio

WHATS UP tp everyone first off, I would like a for some to give me 10, stocks on the S&P that you think are good defensive comp's - firrm - I would also like 10 income based stocks, that you think are good plays, I am a person that has just got there first brokerage designation and I am working on obtaining my series 7, IM a real novice I dont even work in the financial industry as of yet, IM just trying to get my foot in the dore. I dont really get to view the market that much with all the studying for quizes and finals.

 

I have my first designation which is my CSC, and I just feel like a novice,

I study and I still dont really get this stuff, I am trying to just get a basic internship,

as well right now, I know that I AM going off topic with all this B.S rambling, but I feel

so pathetic have a broker designation and not knowing all that I can about the markets.

THANKS for the info HORSESENSE - I do not have a real capital trading - brokerage account, I invest in M.F'S at the moment for all the normal benifits like diversification . .. ECT - and I have a sim acct on investopedia, thats why I joined this site, and just to help with my brokerage training.
