let see, i used to have ninja and i think ninja has the mae in the performance statement. However, i no longer use ninja, but the AT. The AT does not have the mae drawdown

you don't need a software to tell you the MAE... LOL

why? Maybe somepeople do, or somepeople dont. The most important thing i look for in the statement is PnL. That is fair enough for me. I dont want to waste my time looking at my max winners or losers, percentage winning, percentage losing. Maybe somepeople like that, but i am not one of them.

I am not here to put you down...

You have to track your MAE, especially your MAE to PnL ratio...

otherwise, sooner or later, the MAE will catch up to you.

I hope this journal is a positive learning experience for you...

thanks for sharing your trades.

Another way of looking at it is how much did you risk on the trade? (MAE is simply the furthest the trade went against you before coming good). Do you always have a stop on the trade? Just wondering.

One reason that people look at those 3 figures is it allows them to select a position size that reduces the risk of wiping there account to a level they are comfortable with.

There are a few lines written about the benefits of knowing your risk of ruin here TradersCALM - why derive risk of ruin
