The CFTC is trying to reduce Forex leverage to 10 to 1 for all US Forex traders. This means that if you now have 100 to 1 leverage you will have to increase your deposits 10 times to trade the same amount of currency. The act is open for comment, I hope it can be stopped. Here is a link describing other details. Sorry, it has a pop up you have to close to view the article, it was one of the best write ups.
