Trading Asian Futures

Recommended Posts

I haven't traded from the Oz timezone since 2003 and am looking at going back.

What futures indices full time traders trade now days and on what exchanges? Which brokers for these are suggested (apart from IB of course}.

I'm after first hand experience to add to the research I've done.

TIA

You should do a search for Asia or Asian or After Hours. Or KOSPI HSI SPI STW NIKKEI

There are several threads that summarize things pretty well here already.

Last I heard is that if you are planning to trade the Nifty on their exchange in India (Bombay?), then you have to be an Indian. The SGX has a Nifty contract but when I checked early this year, volumes were still anemic.

Hi,

Reg Nifty futures, SGX volumes are picking up well. In case if you had to trade in India, Nifty futures in NSE, Mumbai provides high liquidity. The volumes traded in derivative segments are second to Nasdaq.
