Incorrect Unread Posts Counts

Right now, here's what I see on the homepage:

attachment.php?attachmentid=8551&stc=1&d=1226276957

However, this is what the forum shows me:

attachment.php?attachmentid=8552&stc=1&d=1226276957

The latter is correct (there are no new posts). You think this is a part of the hidden forums bug from before?

Thanks atto for posting this out. The homepage caches the data every 600 seconds or so in order to speed up the load. As a result the stats are delayed by a few minutes compared to the stats on the homepage.

However, you indicated a possible bug on the ignore forums function. This may be a possibility so I will run this over to my coder to double check. Thanks again.

Oh, that's okay. I remember seeing something about hidden forums messing up search totals, and did think that got fixed (and was thinking this was just from that). The 600s cache would certainly do it. Thanks.
