TSX:HED Giving Me Fits

Recommended Posts

Hi, just started learning some basic technical analysis recently, focusing on a combination of candlestick patterns, trends, and signals like OBV, MACD, and RSI. My first trade was HED on the TSX and I bought in on July 23 at $16.10. In hindsight I bought in a bit late, missing earlier signals, but at that point the signals were still positive for the stock (it's actually an ETF) to continue its uptrend.

Unfortunately it's been doing some bizarre stuff since then. I almost sold out on a long black candle but stayed patient and held on. I just can't seem to figure out what is going on with this thing. If someone could take a look at the chart and let me know what you think, I'd greatly appreciate it.

(My apologies if this isn't an appropriate use of the forum, I'm a first-timer)
