Premarket ES Trades

Recommended Posts

Great video. I got home from a big friday night out and saw this and just watched it again now. Do you find that since you started to trade the ES that there's enough liquidity on it in premarket to be able to trade successfully? I'm in the same boat as you in terms of time zone differences so if the liquidity on the ES is not bad in the premarket then I'd switch over form YM pretty quickly!

I see no reason why traders need to stick with just market hours. 1-2 hours before opening premarket has enough liquidity in my opinion and offers a few good opportunities. I also watch the Asian markets so tend to create strategies for the US markets depending on price action here in Asia. This I initiate premarket/overnight.

Personal note... I see 3 windows of opportunities on the US markets. Premarket (1-2 hours before open), opening session (9:30 to around 10:30), and afternoon (2-2:30pm till close).
