Online War Game to Pass Some Time

Recommended Posts

I've gone on a massive spending spree recently and had my NW really rocket up almost double in a day. I'm going to do some nuking tomorrow and then spend the cash all on attack stuff and go on an attacking spree. Awesome game love it :)

Today i managed to make up a lot of lost ground with those missing 190k recruits. I'm back over 100k recruits again and got most of my NW back as well. One thing that I don't get is how to boost your level up faster as I'm only just over 5k level and i don't want to waste turns on the "train troops" thing. Attacking in the BF doesnt really get that much level does it? 15 to conquer a territory and 10 for a successful challenge. what are u guys doing to get ur levels up?

Nick - the way I've done it is to use those turns in the training. The key for me was to do it early and build a base. I think I took it up to 5000 level right from the get go. Then, each day I try to build up at least one more level for nuking.

STRATEGY FOR NEXT ROUND

1) Level up to 5000 immediately

2) From that point, level up at least 500 daily and build up your combo items

3) Nuke the max daily - 50 turns, per nuking

4) No attacking w/o letting the crew know first

5) Keep pace with crew NW

6) Attack as a coordinated group

7) If you are attacked, let the group know ASAP so we can plan retaliation

Just some general guidelines to keep the group closer together.

Our group is getting better by the day. We have 4 from TL in the crew and 6 others that we've found along the way. We are currently a top 50 crew which just means of all the crews out there (no idea how many) we are good enough to receive a ranking. Hopefully we can keep it!

We're in the top 40 now i believe. I'm above 6k level now so thats goin along smoothly. Never been attacked by anyone. Flying under the radar is a great way to get ahead early on in the game.

<Doh> had a buddy visiting the last couple of days so been occupied and missed the start. TBH much as I enjoyed hanging with you guys the game didn't completely gel for me. Clearly there was some finessing to do but the game seemed a bit too formulaic nuke, build up troops, then find some poor shmuck to obliterate for levels. Rinse repeat.

As I say hanging out was fun and I'll maybe try again next time round how long is each game a week, 10 days?

BF - this new round just started, so I would get on now and at least play. Our crew is full right now but that may change due to a couple inactive players so far.

And yes, every 10 days is a new round.

Friendly bump since our forum membership jumped recently.

CLICK HERE to start playing a fun little online war game. A few of us on TL have been playing for a while now and it's something to pass the time in between trades.

It's free to play and if you sign up, I can help get you started. It would be cool to have a crew of all TL members at some point.
