Realtime Execution Blundering Traders

At the most basic level, people must trade by processing information. Unfortunately, we're not very efficient information processors. We have a lot of biases which enter into trading decisions. , trading/investing are very simple processes and we human beings try to make it into something much more complex. Those biases are all about adding complexity to the world.

Is it really that simple?

Consider the trading rules that work: 1) follow the trend; 2) let your profits run; 3) cut your losses short; and 4) manage your money so you can stay in the game. If you design something around following those rules, you'll make a lot of money.

Science facts:*Our brains are bombarded by an estimated 2,000,000 bits of information every second. Processing such a huge amount of information would cause the brain to “freeze”. Therefore, we delete, distort and generalise most of it down to around 134 bits of information.

What this means is that we choose only a tiny proportion of the total amount that is available to us, and those 134 bits of information we allow in to our brains are the things that determine what we call reality.

Your mindset must be clear of everything , except the system following thoughts ., and get rid of all your other thoughts when placing trades. Your mind must be totally focussed on trading , and only on the trades , so no point in having your girlfriend* sitting on your lap when trading.

UNEXPERIENCED TRADERS DO AS FOLLOWING

I hesitate to put on trades , am afraid of putting on trades , my previous losses put fear in me , my previous mistakes put more fear in me and I want to be right (so I delay putting on trades ).I know everything , it is all in my brain when I am trading.

My charts are clean , I can see clearly on the charts support resistance , trend lines , areas of confluence , areas of high probability .

why is this not visible in real time trading decisions?I had many other traders who had same problem , they know everything , but in realtime it was not there. This is a fact.some rules and criteria were forgotten in real time execution.

Why is it everything is not coming out in realtime trading. and being

applied correctly ? A lot of this know how disappears in realtime ,it seems that way.

This business about "it is all in the brain. and clean clear charts ". Is not working.so we need to make it work another way , for the better.

One minute a trade on dax is being processed and trade is being managed , in 5 minutes there is another entry on gbp usd being processed , that is more than enough for the brain to cope.15 minutes later. EGBP entry needs to be processed , the brain is overloaded with tasks and information , it can not perform effectively and can not process information. without mistakes ,

Humans can not process so much information ,on 12 different instruments , with all information on supports , resistances , trend lines , channels ,rules, systems ,etc on several times frames (and keep it all in the head).i do not believe it will work without mistakes.

A load of information needs to be ready and easily visible at time of entry and well before entry , rather than the brain start to processing of information in real time.I have suggested separate folders and images with trade able information on a chart. , with potential trade areas , high probability trade entry zones , double break zone , support areas , tradable triggers etc

They close trades if they have doubts , even if system rules forbid closure of trade , even if doubts are not valid.

Mistakes were made in drawing support and resistance lines and was drawing them innacurately , they resulted in more losses and execution errors. The person has it all in his head , he does not need to draw major supports and resistances and trend lines on his charts , he likes to keep them clean.

In real time he misses vital information , but tries to process it all in his head , despitte the inability of his brain to process it all.

Trader job is split into trader and analyst (system signal provider)

If a trader is looking for trades , managing trades and verifying trades , it is difficult to do 3 jobs at same time. In large institutions , the job is split into several jobs like fund manager , psychologist , risk manager , analyst and trader. In trading .the trader's job is several jobs combined into trader.Traders make a lot of mistakes , in real time trading , because their minds are overloaded With information processing and tasks to execute trades ,

It is better to split the job of trader into two jobs I.e analyst and trader.Analyst will give signals (emotional detachment from execution and result) , trader will execute with emotional detachment,Traders often get overcome by emotions of losses and losing trades , they often freeze after losing trades and are often overcome by many other psychological issues.

Analyst will be able to provide for signals analysis for more trades and will provide better high probability analysis . Trader can execute trades better and trader can manage more trades , if two different people do the jobs of analyst and trader.

The mental edge is the mindset to execute the statistical edge correctly or the system .The human brain is wired to destroy the statistical edge ,this is the main reasons why most traders will turn a winning strategy into a losing strategy , on live accounts , with mistakes in real time.

Give a wining system to 100 traders and 99 percent will lose due to impatience , lack of discipline , greed , fear , emotions. ,biases , lack of certainty. , inability to trade with uncertainty ,revenge trades , monkey brain responses , the need to be right , stress responses , lack of knowledge experience and a dozen other psychological reasons.

Technical analysis based systems THAT WORK CONSISTENTLY are difficult to automate t. And that is the reason why manual skills are required but manual skills also comes with certain constraints and perfection is not possible. I have gone through and tried your strategy and system and found it a little bit complicated to execute.

If strategy is in mental side, probably it's difficult to materize it. I am not sure whether it's right or not. But just provide my opinion.

Brain science, tried to find out how brain work on mind... Back to original assumption, could mind (or spirit) be materized (manuipulated or understanding by science approach)? Just curious.

Cheers,

    • Agreed since some of the new traders usually lose money in start and some loses more while chasing their lost money and eventually ends up blaming to their brokers part.
    • The crypto market are also in phase of maturing like the forex and other trading assets so we can do much more accurate analysis than before since early days it was purely a luck if the investments in crypto bears results because most of the coins or tokens never come to fruition. Some early birds were also able to make profits on these tokens or coins. e,g., like turtle coin starts with 1 satoshi and go up to 7 sathoshis, quite good rewards. another token lmgx now hovering at 10 started from 1,
    • How's about other crypto exchanges? Are all they banned in your country or only Binance?
    • Be careful who you blame.   I can tell you one thing for sure.   Effective traders don’t blame others when things start to go wrong.   You can hang onto your tendency to play the victim, or the martyr… but if you want to achieve in trading, you have to be prepared to take responsibility.   People assign reasons to outcomes, whether based on internal or external factors.   When traders face losses, it's common for them to blame bad luck, poor advice, or other external factors, rather than reflecting on their own personal attributes like arrogance, fear, or greed.   This is a challenging lesson to grasp in your trading journey, but one that holds immense value.   This is called attribution theory. Taking responsibility for your actions is the key to improving your trading skills. Pause and ask yourself - What role did I play in my financial decisions?   After all, you were the one who listened to that source, and decided to act on that trade based on the rumour. Attributing results solely to external circumstances is what is known as having an ‘external locus of control’.   It's a concept coined by psychologist Julian Rotter in 1954. A trader with an external locus of control might say, "I made a profit because the markets are currently favourable."   Instead, strive to develop an "internal locus of control" and take ownership of your actions.   Assume that all trading results are within your realm of responsibility and actively seek ways to improve your own behaviour.   This is the fastest route to enhancing your trading abilities. A trader with an internal locus of control might proudly state, "My equity curve is rising because I am a disciplined trader who faithfully follows my trading plan." • SELF IMPROVEMENT.   The whole self-help industry began when Dale Carnegie published How to Win Friends and Influence People in 1936. Then came other classics like Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins toward the end of the century.   Today, teaching people how to improve themselves is a business. A pure ruthless business where some people sell utter bullshit.   There are broke Instagrammers and YouTubers with literally no solid background teaching men how to be attractive to women, how to begin a start-up, how to become successful — most of these guys speaking nothing more than hollow motivational words and cliche stuff. They waste your time. Some of these people who present themselves as hugely successful also give talks and write books.   There are so many books on financial advice, self-improvement, love, etc and some people actually try to read them. They are a waste of time, mostly.   When you start reading a dozen books on finance you realize that they all say the same stuff.   You are not going to live forever in the learning phase. Don't procrastinate by reading bull-shit or the same good knowledge in 10 books. What we ought to do is choose wisely.   Yes. A good book can change your life, given you do what it asks you to do.   All the books I have named up to now are worthy of reading. Tim Ferriss, Simon Sinek, Robert Greene — these guys are worthy of reading. These guys teach what others don't. Their books are unique and actually, come from relevant and successful people.   When Richard Branson writes a book about entrepreneurship, go read it. Every line in that book is said by one of the greatest entrepreneurs of our time.   When a Chinese millionaire( he claims to be) Youtuber who releases a video titled “Why reading books keeps you broke” and a year later another one “My recommendation of books for grand success” you should be wise to tell him to jump from Victoria Falls.   These self-improvement gurus sell you delusions.   They say they have those little tricks that only they know that if you use, everything in your life will be perfect. Those little tricks. We are just “making of a to-do-list before sleeping” away from becoming the next Bill Gates.   There are no little tricks.   There is no success-mantra.   Self-improvement is a trap for 99% of the people. You can't do that unless you are very, very strong.   If you are looking for easy ways, you will only keep wasting your time forgetting that your time on this planet is limited, as alive humans that is.   Also, I feel that people who claim to read like a book a day or promote it are idiots. You retain nothing. When you do read a good book, you read slow, sometimes a whole paragraph, again and again, dwelling on it, trying to internalize its knowledge. You try to understand. You think. It takes time.   It's better to read a good book 10 times than 1000 stupid ones.   So be choosy. Read from the guys who actually know something, not some wannabe ‘influencers’.   Edit: Think And Grow Rich was written as a result of a project assigned to Napoleon Hill by Andrew Carnegie(the 2nd richest man in recent history). He was asked to study the most successful people on the planet and document which characteristics made them great. He did extensive work in studying hundreds of the most successful people of that time. The result was that little book.   Nowadays some people just study Instagram algorithms and think of themselves as a Dale Carnegie or Anthony Robbins.
