  1. ....so...who in that picture is standing at attention? Go ahead, I am waiting. Oh, also..wonder what flag ol' Hillary is facing? hmmm what about Mr Richardson? I am getting confused here, I was under the impression it was required BY LAW to face the flag and stand at attention!!?? Gee willikers!

So "WHY?" are you just bashing Obama, or are you gonna bash everyone else in the picture for breaking the "law"?

Well it may not be the best stand but at least they tried. Obama stands with his hands clasped near his.....well you get the idea. They were probably facing a flag where the music was coming from. Is that so hard to figure out reaver???? You don't face a poster flag. You face THE flag.

This is going no where. so I am off this thread but IT IS LAW AND HE SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED A CITATION

    Good night.

  2. First the Law:

    4 USC Sec. 7 01/02/2006

    -EXPCITE-

TITLE 4 - FLAG AND SEAL, SEAT OF GOVERNMENT, AND THE STATES

    CHAPTER 1 - THE FLAG

    -HEAD-

Sec. 7. Position and manner of display

    -STATUTE-

    (f) When flags of States, cities, or localities, or pennants of

societies are flown on the same halyard with the flag of the United

States, the latter should always be at the peak. When the flags are

flown from adjacent staffs, the flag of the United States should be

hoisted first and lowered last. No such flag or pennant may be

placed above the flag of the United States or to the United States

    flag's right.

Now HERE is a REAL American that loves their country and knows the law!! Obama apparently scores "0" on both!

  3. Right now,

I like Obama and Ron Paul....Ron Paul ran as a Libertarian in 1988 I believe....I like what he has to say about taxes,etc....

Obama, I like him because he keeps it real. He hasn't had a chance to be corrupted by the political system...

Who do I think will win?

Hell...I can't really even answer my own question...there are so many variables at play.

You like him but you won't vote for him ...eh??? Yeh he keeps it real all right. Publically show just how much he disrespects our laws and our country.

  4. I didn't recall hearing about his indictment for that. A code is not a legal requirement. You are illiterate apparently.

Well, maybe we'll have someone come along that's deaf and we'll have the three monkeys.

I never said I was voting for Obama, I was making a point.

CHAPTER 3--NATIONAL ANTHEM, MOTTO, FLORAL EMBLEM \1\ MARCH, AND TREE

    Sec. 301. National anthem

    (a) Designation.--The composition consisting of the words and music

known as the Star-Spangled Banner is the national anthem.

    (b) Conduct During Playing.--During a rendition of the national

    anthem--

    (1) when the flag is displayed--

    (A) all present except those in uniform should stand at

    attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart;

    (B) men not in uniform should remove their headdress with

their right hand and hold the headdress at the left shoulder,

the hand being over the heart; and

© individuals in uniform should give the military salute

at the first note of the anthem and maintain that position until

    the last note; and

    (2) when the flag is not displayed, all present should face

toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the flag

    were displayed.

    Historical and Revision Notes

Notice above it says Laws in Effect as of Jan 2005. Laws!

It is the same place where you find Title 26 and 26A the US code (laws) for IRS and the ones they will use against you in a court of law. So Mr Reaver me thinks any presidential candidate that would openly flaunt his disrespect has no business being the leader of our country, IMO. Now who is illiterate??

  5. Nope, not blind at all. I think you should think about what I said before running your mouth however.

Were you there? Did you ask him what he thought about it? No? You didn't? But yet you still comment.

Hell, look at tabloids...they take things out of context all the time.

Yeah, you're right, I am gonna vote for someone who is a known crook, thief and liar, just because she puts her hand on her heart during the national anthem.

That is the thing about this country...freedom. You can be an atheist, a Christian, Muslim, or anything in between and that is fine. You can say whatever you want. You can't have it both ways and jump someone's ass because you disagree with something they believe. There is no legal requirement to hold your hand to your heart during the national anthem. I may not agree with his personal beliefs....BUT I am more concerned with what the president DOES and HAS DONE regarding important issues (ie soldiers dying, taxation, crime and punishment, etc) not whether or not someone throws the best fish fries and can impersonate a fake Southern accent, kiss the most babies or shake the most hands.

During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. -- United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171

The context was obvious. You are blind! He doesn't care about America or he wouldn't flaunt it. He has a right to believe anyway he wants but he doesn't have a right to run for president and disobey the law and get my vote.

The man has NO respect for America. Why should I vote for him??

BTY I wouldn't for for Hillary either.

  6. That doesn't bother me at all.

And that's coming from someone who still gets goosebumps every time he hears the Star Spangled Banner.

The way yellow journalism runs rampant in this country, there is no telling what was going on....same reason no one hears anything about Ron Paul....the media picks who they want to run...and win.

That doesn't have anything to do with how Obama feels about this country in my opinion. I think one should take a look at what Hillary Clinton did in the futures arena back in the late 70's...now that is some scandalous shit. She can put her hand on her heart as much as she wants, but the shady stuff she had done in the past speaks louder than any "patriotic gesture" ever could. I'd never vote for someone that shady. As traders, that should really hit home.

It pretty obvious what he was doing. Are you blind????He has a right to do whatever he wants in America but I sure wouldnt vote for anyone who had the gumption to openly deny his patriotism and flaunt it at that. Besides the media apparently tried to keep it covered up. Here is the original http://www.time.com/time/photogallery/0,29307,1662530_1446035,00.html

This was during the national anthem....

You didnt hear much about it. He didnt look like he had any goose bumps...............:helloooo:

  7. -----

this was theme for day... I made a bunch on short-side... tried long-side but it chopped too much and only made a little there... tried short-side again and lost a little bit and missed the big move up. on to tomorrow.
Glad to hear that. The bias was the short side (better as a SS day than a buy day) even though the range was narrow. Sometime later today I will look at the ES in my software and see what I come up with. Taylor would call tomm 10-24 a buy day with a shorting opportunity and a possible long too. Some strenght came into the market but wasnt alot. Dogpile what kind of vol figures you get today? Total and concentrated?

  8. Trading pennies via a la taylor mode

Summary of the penny stock plays today - 5000 shares

CRGN .02 share - 100.00 clear minus comm

    GNTA - No play

IMH - .07 share 350.00 clear minus comm

    MCZ - .02 share 100.00 minus comm

TOTAL 550.00 minus comm (3 plays) on these risky risky penny stocks!

Great Rate of Return on capitol invested.

    Summary if 10,000 shares

CRGN .02 share 200.00 minus comm

    GNTA - no play

IMH .07 share 700.00 minus comm

MCZ .02 share 200.00 minus comm

TOTAL 1100.00 on 3 plays in these risky risky risky stocks daytrading them via taylor mode. Great rate of return on capitol.

Much more could have been made in IMH today as it traded as low as .94 but the idea in the pennies is to capture a slice of the range FAST and get out of them. On a buy day they can be held overnight if the close appears it will be in ones favor.

Much money can be extracted from the markets daytrading pennies stress free :)...well almost...even though most traders consider them way to risky to trade. I consider them way to risky to invest in but a cinch to daytrade! Done it many, many, many times. Plus they give you a great rate of return on the capitol invested. Oh well... I am probably in the doghouse now with this forum for even mentioning pennies..seems like you automatically get demoted in the minds of traders if they ever hear you mention about trading pennies. I could care less. A dime is dime if I get from a penny or from a 190.00 share stock. Makes no difference to me. Except, that multiple penny stock trades a day allows one to spread capitol out and put what would go into one stock into several thus creating a better probability of making some money. So pennies are hated by the trading world. Again "i don't care". What works, works.

  9. Best to cover crgn at .98 Only .02 captured on the decline but decline was too slow.

5000 shares profit 100.00 minus comm/10,000 shares 200.00 minus comm

Best to cover MCZ at 1.15 Only .02 profit but decline is too slow. Best not to hold overnight. 5000 @ .02 150.00 - comm or 10,000 = 200.00 minus comm. Not bad for borrowing a penny stock for a few hours.

  10. Just an update on the pennies trading taylor style

CRGN made target for shorting at 1.00. Wait for the decline to .97 or .96. Try to capt .03 anyway. It is hard to find a broker that will let you short stocks under 5.00 share but I am doing this so folks can see how taylor works on the pennies.

GNTA - No play today. Did not make a BV early

IMH - Short at 1.06 out .99 10,000 shares X .07 $700.00 or 5000 shares X .07 = 350.00. Not bad to make this on a penny stock. You just borrowed it for a couple of hours or so.

MCZ - short at 1.17 waiting to cover around 1.10 to 1.12.

  11. For 10-23

CRGN is an SS day - short at or near 1.00 - 1.02 if opens normal cover around .96

GNTA - Sell day - if it trades under 1.05 by noon go long on a bv when it bottoms. Sell long same day on any rally thru 1.05 to 1.08.

IMH - SS day - short near 1.06 /1.07 if it makes it there grudgingly by 11:30. If it starts up fast early in session hold off and short at a higher point. This stock can do that. Otherwise, do nothing on this one. No longs. Cover on any decline the same day.

MCZ - Buy Day - short on any penetration of 1.18 early in session but watch tape! Cover on any decline to around 1.09 to 1.10. iF it does all this by 12:00 then take a long postion around 1.08 /1.09 after covering your short. Watch the tape on this one.

Will send some more later. Gotta sleep.

  12. Hello WHY?

Thank you very much! A suggestion or two from me for the larger picks would be the QQQQ, CAT or GE. I like your idea for a small priced pick. First, I ran a scan for all stocks in the universe having a price between $.20 and $1.50 with a 30 days simple moving average of volume over 100,000. That scan provided about 120 stocks. So, I increased the volume to 500,000 and that provided the following:

ASTM CMGI CNXT CPST CRGN DVW ENCY GNTA IMH INPC INSM MCZ MGRM

MOVI NGEN NWD ONT OPTV POTP PTN QTWW REV SNUS TOA TXCC VG ZHNE

If you don’t mind, perhaps you could take a peek at a few of these and pick the one you think would be a good candidate. You would have a much better eye for this than me.

Most kind of you sir. Thanks and take care,

    Gary

Do you know how to create a watch list in TC 2000? If so you can be a help to me and save me some time. Create a watch list and call it Taylor. Put in all the stocks in your list above. Next export this to a file. Here is how I need you to export it from within Tc2000.

Exporting Stock Data to a file T2000

Download end of day data from wordens 40 minutes or and hour after the market closes. Select the Taylor watch list that has the stocks you put in there (this is very important as you only want the data for these stocks to be exported not on all 10,000 stocks). Next click on Databank at top then "export to text". Again verify that the "List to Export" now says "Export Taylor". Next instructions are VERY important. Follow them exactly. You should only have to do the following data field setup onetime not each day. You have clicked on "Export to Text" and you are at the export screen and have made sure that the list to export is the "Export Taylor list" Now to set up the data fields. Under "Available Data Fields" one by one select the below data fields and click the "add" button. You will have to do this for each field one by one. Select ONLY these fields and make sure they appear in ORDER in the right side of the screen: open, high, low, close, volume, symbol, company name, exchange, and the last field called Date YYYYMMDD. DO NOT select any other of the field options. Next click on "single file" and in the blank space type in this name for it: taylor.txt

Next select 40 days for the amount of data, then select the drive and directory where you plan to export it. Send it to a place you can readily find it such as C: or desktop. Next select "descending". Click on export. In just a few seconds it will export 40 days of data for all the stocks in your Taylor watch list. Email this file as an attachment to me. I am sending my email address to you via private mail. This is what I need you to do each day 1 hour after market closes (to give worden time to uodate all the data). Logon and update worden. Then export that tayor watchlist each day and send it to me. That will save me alot of time. Let me know of you can do this.

    Thanks
