  1. James, Regardless of the form this indicator comes in, do you believe that watching for divergence in price versus the OSC is valid for entry near S/R. In other words, is this indicator a true representation for buying and selling pressure? I'm fairly new to trading and have been interested in trading more via price action than with indicators, but in looking at this indicator is seems to do a good job of displaying possible change of direction via divergence fairly well. Am I accurate in my assumption? If so, it seem extreamly powerful. On another topic I believe you use Market Profile in your trading. Correct me if I'm wrong. Can MP be as simplistic as using VAH, VAL and POC's as support and resistance and watching how price behaves in these areas and trade accordingly, or is it/does it need to be more complicated than that? Thanks. David
  2. Just an update to the TTM post. They removed my posting referring to the Delta Divergence indicator on TL. Something about and agreement with Market Delta. I guess it's unfortunate, but understand able. They do not deny that they are in business and trying to make money, so I guess if peiple want to pay the $ then so be it. JC wasn't upset or anything. He contrls hsi emotions very well, at least he did in his post to me. The thing I'll never understand is how many millions does a person need. A side question. There is a Malcom Roberts or Robertson referred to on TL. Anyway, he speaks of a Buy/Sell strength indicator. Which one of the indicators on TL would most match up with something like that. Is it the Bid/Ask or the divergence indicator? Thanks. David
  3. Hello, I'm not a TS programmer, so I'm going to ask for help on this. Also, tell me if it's a dumb idea as well. I have limited screen space so instead of having to have multiple charts up for a higher time frame I was wondering if it possible and relatively easy to create a TS showme that prints a dot above each candle indicating the trend direction on a highet timeframe. So, for example, if I generally look at a 266 tick chart and i want to know what the trend is on a timeframe multiple of 3 or 4 times would it be possible to show a dot on the 266 tick chart indicating the trend of the 1064 tick chart (266*4)? A red dot for down or green for up. Of course this could be as complicated depending on the modifiable inputs such as higher timeframe and number of bars to determine trend etc. Any help is appreciated. By the way, I want to sell it for $499. Just kidding David
  4. Just thought I'd post a pic of Suri's Price profile. David
  5. CKait, I have an indicator by Suri Dudella that he calls price profile. I'm not an expert by any means in MP or otherwise, but I do like to trades based on the POC and VAL and VAH as support and resistance. His indicator plots the profile on a 30 min chart, I guess you can use other time frames, and then on say a 5 minute chart or a tic chart you can plot, or as it is referred to in TS broadcast the POC's going back 10 days and the current POC plus current VAH and VAL. If you check out Suri's Site suriNotes.com, suriNotes, Stock Research, Futures Trading, Emini Trading, Tradestation, Indicators and look at his intraday charts you can see samples of it in use. It was $250 for life and it uses TS data. I don't benefit in any way. I like Suri and I have a number of his indicators and his book. Good Luck David
  6. Bryan, Thanks for your comments. I don't know if it's a bold move or not. Maybe I shouldn't have done it, I don't know. Someone made a comment about Hubert saying that just before a free webinar for a new indicator he always says he has been secretly using the indicator. I never thought of the coincidence of him saying it, but I think the timing of his comments are a little suspect. From what I know about him he is a scalper and a tape reader. He even says give me tape and a execution platform and I can trade. I don't think he needs or wants any indicators. Also, being a member of thier site he gave me his cell number so I could call with questions because he hates to type. In the process of asking questions and says the indicators are basically worthless, 50/50 at best. Maybe I shouldn't repeat that here, but they charge over a grand for those things and he doesn't even think much of them. I look at the generosity coming from this website and I think thay maybe there are still good people in this world willing to help others without asking for something in return. Someone asks for a code change and it's done. I have no problem with TTM running a business etc, but I do have an issue with being gouged (sp) for every little thing. David
  7. I belong to TTM and get JC's video newsletter at night. It gives me access to thier discussion forum etc. I posted that the TL version of the DD Indicator is available here for free. They removed my post. I tend to like JC and Hubert, but those guys really seem to be about the $$. My assumption is that they have a ton of it, but yet everything they sell is for a heafty price. It's like the Hieken Ashi bars. They call it the TTM Trend and even to this day they still sell it when you can find it for free at TL or maybe on the TS forum. They don't want to give anything away.
