  1. Finally, today's ER chart. I would appreciate your comments on the trades that I can identify. Jerry, I would appreciate any suggestions for exits, in the case that price does not reach the next sd target. Would you use an indicator? Thank you. Take care. Unicorn.
  2. This is the Volume Statistics chart for NQ. I would appreciate your comments, on the trades that I can identify. My understanding of the concepts applied to NQ price action today is: When the VWAP is close to the PVP, on the other side of price action, expect oscillations, do nothing. For advanced traders only: If you expect a breakout, you can enter on the breakout of sd1 or sd2, trade direction away from VWAP. QUESTION: Could this be applied today after 14:16 EST?? By the way, chart time is EST + 7hours. Jerry, I would appreciate your NQ chart with HUPs and your remarks on the guidance that HUPs would have provided to the NQ trade management. Thank you. Cheers. Unicorn.
  3. Hello Jerry and fellows; My indicators are not be perfect yet; thus I don't have HUPs from previous days on my chart. This is today's price action on ES. I am still learning this methodology. Jerry I would appreciate your comments. I would also appreciate a chart with HUPs. I trust that they would provide further guidance for trade management. cheers. Unicorn.
  4. Sparrow and Zoltran, thank you for clarifying what the bug was. cheers. Unicorn.
  5. Zoltran; please explain what the very small bug was; i.e. post the couple of lines with the code that had the bug and the correct version of the same lines of code . Thanks. cheers. Unicorn.
  6. Hello Karish; Beautiful AmiBroker chart;:) would you be willing to share your Amibroker code? cheers. Unicorn.
  7. Jerry; you have presented an excellent methodology :thumbs up::thumbs up::thumbs up:; a vast improvement over market profile. THANK YOU. I found your Trading with Market Statistics threads on Friday, after your comments on the market profile setups presented at trading-naked.com. Take care. Unicorn.
  8. Hi OAK; I have come across these market profile setups. (attached file). Are these the setups that jpj trading teaches? cheers. Unicorn. Market Profile Trading Methods trading-naked.com.doc
  9. Thank you OAK. I had not realized that. Take it easy. Unicorn.
  10. Yes, OAK I might do that. Still, I need the viewpoint of the customer; The answer from the service provider will always be along the lines "we are perfect, we have all the methods you need, our effectiveness is unparalleled, our track record is impeccable, our material is top notch". Thanks for your concerns. best regards. Unicorn.
  11. OAC, Please let the man answer my question. Furthermore, I may not wish to wait for the next free trial week. BUT before I spend my money tomorrow (if I decide to do so), or the day after, I would like to know how this training is conducted. Additionally, I would like to have the answers that I seek today (if the guys have the time to answer them), as opposed to a distant and unknown date. Finally, I think that the focus of this site is not just education BUT INFORMATION AS WELL. Thanks. And of course thank you for providing the opposite point of view. BUT STILL, let the information flow. cheers. Unicorn.
  12. Thank you Glenbee. Please clarify this for me: JPJ does not teach during the trial. Therefore, one would not understand much during the free trial. Is this correct? I understand that the new training period starts after the free trial. So it is not advisable to join at any time, but it is best to wait for the new training period, and catch the training from the start. Correct? Thanks again. regards. Unicorn.
  13. Hello Glenbee, bh_trade, nickm001 and alleyb; I have studied both "Mind over Markets" and "Markets in profile". My question is: what is the form of the training at JPJ trading.com? (a) Are the setups and the methodology presented ONLY verbally in the room? (b) is there reading material in the form of pdf files that describe the setups? © are there videos that present the setups, so as to understand how the trades in the room are triggered? or (d) there are a few charts on the site and then you have to make the best of your time asking questions in the room regarding the charts and/or trades that are presented. Finally, how easy - efficient is it to ask for clarifications and actually get an answer, given that there are approximately 200 members in the chat room. I would appreciate your response to this question, as I would like to understand how the teaching is organized. Thanks. cheers. Unicorn.
  14. Hi OAC; would you please elaborate on the reasons that jpj trading is not recommended. cheers. Unicorn.
  15. Hello Walter; How is the final vmar method shaping up? It has been a couple of weeks that you have not posted much. Take care. Unicorn.
  16. Congratulations Nick.:thumbs up::thumbs up::thumbs up: But you will need those pencils... What is your major and your degree? Take care. Unicorn.
  17. Sundowner; the BOP indicator can be ported just fine. you can certainly type the code for BOP and have your own indicator. cheers. Unicorn.
  18. Sundowner; And this chart has the equivalent of adxvma(6) and adxvma(2) that I presume that you follow. Take it easy. Unicorn.
  19. Sundowner; I see divergence (warning of trend change); Then I see trendline break (confirmation of trend change) thus EXIT. I think that Pring is a good source for divergence. Take it easy. Unicorn.
  20. Hello Walter; it is great that you have already tested BOP versus AD_Osc; it is nice to know that BOP outperforms. Indeed, I know that too well; especially when price hits the trailing stop and then sprints to hit the pivot point no matter what... Yes; I am not there yet. I am studying the negative laddering and the subsequent vmar icon. That is a very interesting setup. :thumbs up::thumbs up: If you get a chance, please point out a few of those trades - negative laddering and subsequent vmar icon - in your video presentations. Take it easy. Unicorn.
  21. Hi Cattus; this is the accumulation_distribution Line, a summation of the value since the beginning of the chart. It is not the oscillator; that's why it does not require the 14 bar input. It is also a different from the BOP based computation because it uses ((Close- Low) - (High - Close)) / (High - Low) * Volume instead of (Close- Open) / (High - Low) * Volume regards. Unicorn.
  22. TRUE. Then again these whole numbers correspond to bars and it makes a lot more sense to our technical analysis background to say that we apply a 6 bar stochastic to a 10 bar or 11 bar ema smoothed modified adx and all this is used to compute a 10 or 11 or 12 ema_period vma. Indeed. I just cannot clearly understand what a 3.5 bar ema is; well, yes it is an ema faster than a 4 bar ema and slower than a 3 bar ema; ok this is as far as I will interpret it. But I may also point out that the adxvma(6) sometimes is a 7.5 bar ema and other times a 10.3 bar ema. Fine. Lets do it for portability's shake. The likely benefit will be an insightful observation by someone reading this thread. What is amazing is that very few folks post charts, as if they are not sure it's worth their time :shrug::hmmmm:; perhaps readers are wondering if we are using a bona fide vma, or waiting for Walter to say "this is the final setting for this trade setup". OR they are using this method to trade profitably and they think that we are overdoing it with this analysis. :haha::haha: cheers. Unicorn.
  23. Hello Sundowner thanks for the code. Walter is using BOP divergence to enter countertrend trades. You can use them to exit your trend trades. Study the info on the Futures Scalps thread. I think it will work great, when there is a divergence and price crosses a trendline to confirm that actually the trend is over. Give it a try and post a few charts. cheers Unicorn.
  24. Yes Cattus, Thank you. is that the accumulation-distribution_oscillator(14) at the bottom (ADL)? it is usually shaped a lot more like the BOP; sometimes it shows a better divergence. Need more time evaluating it though. I am not using NinjaTrader, but I do read the code, at least I understand it enough to notice the difference in indicator implementations. Take care, Unicorn.
  25. Good day Bruce; only a test by Walter comparing the volume chart to the tick chart and the effectiveness of the BOP can tell that. I just pointed out that my using ema smoothing resulted in different values from Walter's BOP values (using sma smoothing). I have not compared the divergences yet. By the way I have posted a message on " The Chimp`s "Forex Trades" " thread, that should interest you; heck it might keep you a little busy; :) Take care. Unicorn.
