That was great stuff ,love the MP levels. I was intruduced to MP on this site and loved the indicatores you provided in the past. Are you going to make something similar avialable for sale? If not I am curious why you had them have a time limit. Its not that Im not willing to pay for softwear, I just liked yours the best. Did your profit margin decrease after making MP Plus availiable? Just hoping you could give a little insight.

Seems to me with the advent of electronic trading, and all the tools out there , everyone is on a semi level playing field. If any body has the power to manipulate any thing it is the fed, and there plunge protection tactics. Lets see if they can stop this one.

I know many of you use MP. I was wondering which programs and providers you think are the best , user friendly and what the cost is? I use Trade Station and have found all aviailable MP programs lacking. If anyone could assist it would be appreciated.

Friday's afternoon rally stopped at the 38% retrace of the weeks down move could see some kind of a bounce from yhat as well.

I read somewhere that it takes effort in the way of $ to break through resistance or support, so maybe price gets shut down when the effort to pass through isnt worth the reward on the other side.

I thought I saw a thread about swing tading before but not sure. I personally trade both intraday and swing and was wondering if other traders use multiple timeframes on the same underlying instrument at the same time, long long on DIA Options swing and short YM intraday. Any feed back ? Currently short YM swing as of 8/0/07.

I know a lot of people here use trade station so maybe someone can answer a question for me. Occasionally there will be gaps in my YM chart data, today there was one such gap at appx 8:45 for 5-10 min, but I was still recieving Tick data on the same workspace. I have Core Duo pro. and plenty ram. Any insight would be appreciated.

Great set up, I went short on the previous bar only to be stopped out . Do you typacally try catch the the top or wait until the close of the following bar?

Today I had a situation whern volume got heavy right after the fed news, TS platform froze up. I was unable to get a trade in. I have noticed some times on heavier than normal volume if I am running the Market Profile TS slows.Has any body else had this problem or is there settings I have to adjust?

Thanks for all the input. I figured I'd get a wide range of answers from a question like that, I guess the best answer would be in the observation of your trades for the period and weather your original convictions play out.One thing I have learned is not to have too much pride to exit a trade when it is not going your way before your stopped out.

How does one determine trend day , other than sitting and watching one happen? Are there clear signs or lack of signs that will let you know early enough to keep you from getting in your own way?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I dont see tick delta in ts indicators or market profile either. any suggestions?

I like the tick delta, how does one go about setting that up or can it be imported via easy language?
