  1. Hey Bob Read this one again. Don't you mean yield above 3% gold is good to buy? Sun
  2. Oh yeah, true. Didn't think about that. :thumbs up:
  3. Born and raised in the Big Apple. Plenty of tunnels but no hills. And I'm a realist, not a cynic and that is why I trade with the trend. You've been trying to get me to go long a couple of times already. Why? Find it bit lonely doing so? Because when its all said and done dollars are made with the trends and pennies (2 or more) are made with the counter trends. Back in my youngin days I took a Dale Carnegie course. True story. Can't you tell ....................... it didn't help.
  4. Yesterday's news. But nonetheless Nanex should know the CME doesn't trade stock...... "so as not to trip the CME's stop logic and halt the stock". Or a better job of editing.
  5. I believe, from following Tom DeMark's TL methods, the key is to have qualifiers as to whether a TL break will succeed or fail. In other words whether to enter with the trend or fade it. Use swing points of similar or lower strength looking from the current one back to the most recent previous swing point (only). So two swing points is all that is needed. No touches, channels, or any other such extras. A line is either qualified or not which determines the likelihood of market direction. Simple.
  6. Yes I have my methods but one thing that isn't subjective is, the trend is still the trend and until such time as it changes ..... and its been down for a long while now.
  7. Close above as in daily close, not high penetration. But let me add another qualifier to this: Daily close above the daily close of that date and not just the low. On my chart that is 1275 or your first target. GL
  8. I am thinking we are only in 3 waves down of final wave 5 of 5 so if Friday's low is taken out yet another correction to bear trend is over and downtrend resumes. Then 1100-1000 within reach. If Oct 15th low 1252 is breached to the upside, with a close above this, then wave count is incorrect and probably 1400 at least should be reached. If am favoring the first scenario until price says otherwise.
  9. Before NFP 830am announcement it ............. dropped. The move up was immediately thereafter.
  10. Yeah. Only for a trader in the pits. But not too many of them nowadays. I laugh when I see a post on TradeStation's forum asking how to code this or that idea for a 2 or a 5 or a 10 second chart.
  11. Ok here is a daily and a 5 minute of March futures contract (Green) and spot cash (Red):
  12. I can overlay them in same graph but they mash together (small price difference for the scaling) unless you want just a line on close chart. Or a OHLC but one underneath the other. Which?
  13. You did this time. I have that chart too but you can look it up yourself. Shouldn't be too hard for a lazy azz who wants to be spoon feed.
  14. Me? I have two left feet. But Gold had one on Oct 1st $55.05 to be exact. Here the blue Paintbars (15) mark all the $50 or greater moves that happened in the last year or so:
  15. Huh? Monster move. Where? Not in Gold. A monster move in Gold would be $50 or more up or down. Anyway did you notice where it closed, just about where it opened. So the monster is back in its cage.
  16. Or a trader that just needs to be committed. Pink pill or blue one today?
  17. Which is why I use Tom DeMark TD Lines - which is where Mouteki got his inspiration too.
  18. Exactly but what do we know. We don't have patience. And probably need Capt Video X-Ray glasses too.
  19. The currency pairs I see that moved dollar positive, prior to today, that might be attributed to tapering is AUDUSD and CADUSD. But don't know one way or the other truthfully if taper was the reason. USDJPY not related, EURUSD and GBPUSD were going the other way as well as the inverse USDCHF. NZDUSD flat. So I'd like to know where the signs were taper was being priced in?
  20. That high? I was thinking 950 or there abouts.
  21. Paging Bob C. pick up the "White Courtesy Phone" and phone home. Oh ok nobody pages anymore. But hope you are not still bullish? Yet!
