Stopping Volume

Recommended Posts

I'm new to VSA although I've traded before. I've read both of Tom William's books and have reviewed the VSA summaries in this forum. I'm trying to adapt/program some of the VSA principles into my metastock platform and have tested the no supply and no demand code that was discussed in the forum. I'm trying to find similar code for stopping volume, up-thrusts and testing supply. An example of some of the issues that I'm trying to determine would be - on determining stopping volume, what would constitute a bear move(two days down, three days down?) - high volume(greater than 20 day moving average of volume?) - closing on the highs(greater than (H+L)/2?). I have a general understanding of supply and demand and the VSA concepts but am looking for best proven ways to implement the concepts into my metastock platform. Thanks for any and all help.
