Hey, I started "day trading" with $40 000 CAD 3 weeks ago. I am up to $46 500 which represents an increase of a little more than 15% overall. Note that I am limited to 1-2 trades a week (since I have to wait 3 days for my funds to become available). But after reading many specialists say 90% of traders lose money, I am under the impression that this is just the luck of the beginner and that I will eventually lose all my profits in the near future. So am I doing something right or is this just the luck of the beginner? PS: I do not make random trades so I am not gambling. I usually hold a few hours but sometimes will keep 1-2 days.
Is it time to buy twitter (TWTR) stock right now? Shares of twitter hit a record low on Monday after shares broke a key support level. Twitter surged above $40 last week after earnings but have been down ever since on fears about user growth. I’m in the camp that says you should buy twitter stock over the next three months ahead of earnings and a new CEO announcement. I feel that TWTR will return to $32-$33 by the next earnings announcement in October, resulting in a 10% gain. Buy twitter stock between $25-$29 over the next three months. Sell every big rally and do it all over again.
