  1. Does the $ 67 pdf give you a good summary of the method or do we need to buy the DVD?

I guess the real question is how much add on stuff do we need to buy with emini junkie in order to undersytand the method?

    Thank you!

The trading plan is good enough....and if you need more detailed explanation, there are educational videos in the members forum that go over the topics. The dvd goes over the topics in the same manner, but are longer class room setting details....dvd not needed now...

  2. I've never posted on one of these forums, but I feel compelled to tell my experience with these

two vendors. Channel-trading is top notch for newbie or experienced. Tis is someone you could start with and I believe become a successful trader in a period of time. Eminijunkies is

junkies without the ies for anyone who has been around trading. I felt totally ripped off. It is

info that has been regurgitated for years. Plus the tactics they use in marketing are very distasteful but prominent for most trading info. Just my 2 cents. Had to vent a little for wasting

    my $67.

dont get me wrong, i think channel-trading has lots of value. i even paid for the lifetime membership. and yes, you can make serious tics from this. but there is no way i could possibly trade and draw lines like huddy can. we are all humans and if you tell 10 people to draw a particular line on a chart, you will get 10 different lines at different price levels. if he only has a set of rules or a trading plan, this would be so much powerful.....i use huddy's MP analysis along with EJ support/resistance areas......best of luck....

    Honest question.

If both Channel-Trading and EminiJunkie, both shut down their rooms, which method would you be able to trade on your own?

I believe Channel-Trading is just entering trades based on his calls, there is no way you could trade like he does and/or draw the exact same discretionary lines like he does.

How long have you tried EJ? did you go through the progression? honestly, did you per the trading plan?

Can you please explain in details why you thought you got ripped off with EJ. You are the first one that I came across that felt it was a scam. How is it a scam if he teaches you fib entries based on major support/resistance on short/long time frame charts, and utilizing various market internals to assist in the trade. I strongly feel that this room encompasses all the info and years of research one would have to go through in order to trade successfully. So I am confused why you think it is a scam...this is honest question and would like to see views from the other side......

  4. Hi Marker,

After 3 days with Reza, it is not easy to make a thorough decision. Day 2 (Wednesday) was really bad, you could feel/hear Reza loosing it a bit, taking trade after trade in order to recover previous loss and ended the day with -7.5pts/C, ended the week with +2.5pts/C. He keeps going on about the economy/president and how the world is going down the drain. It is purely MP and looking for major/resistance support, very knowledgeable he is domain. I also had few issues with the communication software he uses: cuts, bad audio and so on, while Huddy's GoToMeeting was perfect.

I have now joined Huddy's room permanently, I believe he will cover my need better. I am a real newbie tradder and need more a mentor and somebody to help me go up the ladder. I hope/think he is the right person for that. Certainly like he is way to get safe really quickly. He might miss some but at least you are safe, on Wednesday we stayed in for a 10 pts runner which was nice.

So will see in few months time if my choice was right.

    Cheers,

Sounds like Reza needs to have his emotions checked. Looks like "fear & greed" has gotten to Reza....Lets call him the revenge trader!

Anyway, Huddy, yes, this guy is so safe...if he doesnt like the way the trade is going, he will close it out for a small profit of 1-4 tics or at worse take a stop out no worse than 5tics. He will do this until he gets that huge runner....

Yes, I joined Huddy as lifetime member, you cant beat the price. And I will also stick with EminiJunkie. I think they can work together for me. eminijunkie uses several aspects of Huddys style and enters the trade with fib techniques, which is similar to Huddy's price pattern entries....EminiJunkie trade live in the mornings only, and then I can follow Huddy for the rest of the day.....using both systems confirms the most probable trade for me.....

Best of luck in Huddy's room!

  5. It is still early since only one day, did about 2-3 trades. He only use MP on IRT, he has another indicator based on 100 ticks but don't know what it is, will ask and also a small candle chart. But it is mainly MP. Yesterday he said to it would be an UP day and bought the open,no stop to start, got out after 2.5 pts but he said we should have stay in the trade since during C period it often takes the high or low of the B period, if we would we would have made more then 10pts. He uses MKT orders!

Other stops were 2pts and 1 pts, he is very quick to get out if he does not like it, move in his direction. Did not like the way market behave yesterday.

Will decide at the end of the week but for the moment I prefer Huddy!

    PSUDAN,

So what do you think? Huddy or Reza?

I too have been following 3 rooms to decide the one I want to stick with. I have been with eminijunkie since last year, started channel-trading a month ago, and easyeminitrade a few weeks ago. I like easyeminitrade, but there's is something missing. Her screens are cluttered up cuz she watches/trades ES, NQ & 6E. She uses the keltner channel to trade. I think if she just concentrates on the ES, then the quality of her room would be better. I love eminijunkie, he trades the ambushes longs/shorts with fibs and other internals. No complaints with this room. I am looking into channel-trading because I was not familiar with market profile and wanted to learn.

I just may keep both eminijunkie and channel-trading. They kinda compliment each other....

    How was Reza?

  6. thanks, hopefully you'll get better feel for Reza after a few more days...

    Looking forward to your reviews.....

  7. Could you tell me little more about Reza's set up and how he uses the MP?

Does he have any other charts up besides the MP? How big are his initial stops? Which would u prefer? Huddy or Reza?

    Thanks again!

    Marker,

I do agree with you, have been in the room for 3 days now and I like the way he trades and tries to get safe as quickly as possible. Sometimes he get stop out early and then the trade develops so an extra 2-3 ticks stop would have been better and kept him in the trade, but you can say that for many trade and end-up losing few points.

I am also following at the same time Reza ProfileTraders, first day yesterday, for the moment mixed feeling. I like the way that he challenges the room with his questions and you can really feel that he wants you to learn and be able to trade on your own! Also like the fact that he shows the execution of the orders! Reza trial period is only 3 days so will see, maybe a bit short to really have a good idea.

    Keep us posted!

  8. quick update, I spent the whole day 6/1/10 in Huddy's room taking all the trade calls, and I must say, I need to revise my thoughts. It is not boring at all, its called concentrating and getting ready to stalk a trade set-up. All his entries were safe and moved the stop to break even fairly quickly. i originally said it was boring, but I was wrong. i really listened to him to actual see what he was seeing, and all i can is pretty good so far. other rooms talk about non sense, and at times not related to trading, just to fill dead air, not Huddy, its not silence, we are just looking and stalking the set up.....

  9. Long time since i posted here but something i been working on again recently is fib time zones.I think traders are so obsessed with PRICE that they forget about TIME.

The biggest reason its so difficult to pick tops/bottoms,good reversal areas is because those price points are often fleeting, particularly on an intraday chart. The perfect entry is there for a few minutes..often only seconds. This is not a problem in itself as many traders prefer to wait for confirmation before entering/closing out.

I think it may have a lot to do with resting orders at certain price levels, and it must be big money there as it takes big money to stop a trend in its track.

However, often, these turns occur at fib time zones which can be anticipated in advance..not predicted..anticipated.

Using Time as well as Price could give your trading an extra dimension and give more confidence of pulling the trigger and capturing the biggest part of the move.If the move then goes as you anticipated, instead of entering at your normal confirmation point, you could pyramid at that point and this is the way a small initial position with a sensible stop can give better returns than you're currently getting. At least that is what i'm finding..fewer trades bigger results, less is more etc.

I will post some examples if there is any interest here

    please do tell...i am interested...thanks!

  10. Laguna, I second that and would like to know more about your experience with Reza at Profile Traders?

    Thks

today, Huddy, was just taking trades at closing out at 3-4 tics and moving the trailing contract at break even. he did this on most of his trades. he was basically taking a gamble on which way the market would break out when he notices a consolidation area. so when his trade goes 3-4 tics in his favor, he immediately moves to break even on his remaining contracts, and 99% of his trades today stopped out at break even on his trailers. but if the trade immediately goes against him, he will take the full stop out at 3-4 tics. I think i got his method. he does this small gamble on every single trade when he notices consolidation areas. he will take these little profit scalps or stop outs in hopes he will guess correctly and catch that huge runner to offset these little break even stop outs....

im not learning anything at all......

  11. I found room to be the bore...I had seen more of channel set-ups, than Market Profile set ups. I had seen him taking and closing trades at BE probably 80% of the time at best..There is a reason why room is so inexpensive: after I cancelled it, I kept getting free invites daily..and had no interest to visit even for free. Although, must say, he seems to be a nice guy..as a trader, I was much more profitable, and learned absolutely nothing. Since then, I had tried and signed for Profile Traders, where I learned daily and see Profits daily on Live DOM..only 2 losses in 2 weeks..it is soo true " You get what you pay for"..

    Laguna, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!

He rarely has MP set ups and just uses channel type trades. He kind shoots from the hip....And yes, he is a nice guy, but I am not learning anything...

Are you still with Profile Traders? Can you tell me a little more on it? how much is it? and what kind of profits did you see with it?

    Thanks!

  12. Seems like there are more traders that agree that fib level are on every single bar on the chart. Take the days chart and just randomly chart fibs, and then you can see you could had made a million entries and exits. The question is, are you willing to put your chips on the line in real time? for me, no way.

  13. I currently trade off of my Ninja charts & trading DOM that ties into my account at my broker (Mirus). A one-stop shop.

I want to move to a different charting software such Ensign, Sierra or Investor-RT.

Here's is my newbee confusion. I am assuming that these charting software will require me to subscribe to a data feed such as IQFeed. But these charting software do not have a trading DOM to execute trades into your account at the broker. So I am assuming, I will be using my brokers trading DOM to execute trades.

To me, it doesnt make sense to execute trades based on a chart that has a different data feed from the brokers trading DOM. Is there something I am missing? wont there be a difference/slippage? or the difference is so minor, its no big deal? I am thinking it is a big deal, cause 1 tick difference could mean a full stop out or not....

  14. Im new in Huddy's room, but from what KoiFan and the room shows, he uses Ensisn mainly, but he did say he also has IRT and Ninja charts up. He says he likes all 3 and all of them have their pluses.....but I think I will end up moving towards Ensign.

I guess you can record the session on your own. He uses GoToMeeting. I have full version of Camtasia Studio Recording platform. I use it to record Huddy on certain questions I ask.....

The day is almost done, and there were about 3 trades, all were small scale winners in this choppy day.....he stalks the trade....he is methodical and sits and sits and then jumps on the perfect high probability entry....love it so far.....

  15. there are trades to take if you have more experience....but Kevin will call safer trades for the room...but he explains the progress of the profile while it develops.

    R

I hope to be one of those experienced ones. Hope Huddy can get me there.....

  16. Ok, its lunch time chop now and here is my morning review of Channel-Trading.

Damn pretty good, very conservative. He just sits and waits for the trend lines and MP to form an entry area that gives a very very high probability entry. He nailed the 1st one at 1083.75 short at 8:13am pacific time, scaled all the way to his predefined target of 1080.75-1080.50....nice call on his part, no stress trade :). He also called one during lunch and said not to take it due to lunch time zone, but it was a quick winner as well....he also posts his trades on twitter pretty quick too, so you can see the trades as they happen if your not in the room ( Kevin Hudson (channeltrading) on Twitter ).

I have to admit, if I was in my other live trade room that uses fibs, I would have been chopped around with at least 8 trade in the morning so far....overtrading, yuck....:crap:

    more to come....

  17. Anyone have any experience with MB Trading's data feed? any good? The reason I ask is, they are one of the few that offer data feed on both futures contracts and index symbols. Anyone know of any good broker or data feed that offer both of these?

  18. Anyone willing to comment on these statements that I have hearing more and more often these days:?

-You can make an argument that there is a fib trading level at every single bar on the chart. Take any chart, and draw any fib extensions or retracements, (pick a bar, any bar, pick a swing high/low , any swing high/low) and you will see some bar at any given fib level. Fibs will work after the move has been made. The fib trading method does not work during real time trading. On any given chart at any given time frame, there are a million fib levels...If you trade the fibs, you will over trade and chop your account up...

Is there some truth behind this statement? I wish there wasn't, but the more I think about....:(

  19. Hi ...I use IRT...Kevin is also going to be using IRT...from my limited experience with

Ninja...the charts are nice...BUT it's a huge memory hog. I am astounded as to

how much memory it requires. When my IRT is running several tick charts along with

a couple MP charts...it is using about 10% of the memory Ninja requires.

My charts never froze last week...you can use some brokers data to run IRT futures charts.

If you want stocks...you need esig, IQ or something else.I use IQfeed.

Check out a trial on IRT...they also have the best MP charts online bar NONE.

    Hope this answers some questions.

    Koifan

    KoiFan,

Did Kevin say he was going to be switching to IRT soon?

  20. How come you keep jumping from room to room Koifan...? I'm curious...what happened to Reza and Eric......where they not profitable or was the room not a match for you ?

I too would like to further my MP knowledge but not sure which room would be right for me..Thanks for your feedback....

Marker - could you tell us more about your one month trial....was it educational or just posting of trades

    JE

    JE,

Well, to be honest, I did not take full advantage of my one month, that is why I signed up again. Like I wrote earlier, I was distracted with another live room that trades on the 50% Fib retracements.

I dont know what everyone's feelings on fib's, but the way I see it, you can make a fib argument on every bar that is on the chart? it seems like after the move has been made, you can find a fib that worked out....I do want to believe in the fib method, but to me, its overtrading. Correct me if i'm wrong, but it actually seems you can make a fib argument anywhere on the chart....

That is why I REALLY want to learn MP. MP live rooms out there are limited, but it seems that Channel-Trading.com might have something. From the few reviews out there in web space, I have heard no complaints, only positives. And from my very limited time in the room, all his trades were big winners or very tiny stop outs.

I will let you know how it goes.....I'll be in Huddy's room tomorrow, so hope it goes well.....

  21. Yes, I just joined Kevin's room 3 weeks ago. I am very pleased with the room.

Kevin employs MP, channels as well as price action for his calls. He is a good

teacher. He tries to make trading calls where the odds are the greatest in your

favor...it is not a chat room...Keven answers all questions...and if they pertain to the group..

he will explain the question and the answer to all. The room has been very profitable

since I have been there. The cost is also VERY reasonable.

    Regards,

    koifan

    THANKS KoiFan,

I paid for one month to see if it would be a fit. And I'll admit, I have not attended everyday, just off and on cause I was distracted with another trading room that trades soley on fibs, but I did stay the entire afternoon Huddy session on 5/20/10. I must say, if I remembered correctly, the few trades he called were all winners.

At first, I was a little intimidated and overwhelmed with MP and didnt understand and thought the concept couldnt give an exact entry point, but after a short time in Huddy's room, I now understand why he uses other traditional charts to make entry based on MP.

Koifan, what charting software you use and what trading DOM you use? Cause I see that Huddy uses Ensign for charting. If you uses Ensign with a paid data feed, you must have a trading DOM with a different data feed, then wouldnt the timing of the actual trade be off little due to different data feeds? or the difference is so minor, its not a factor?

The only reason I ask is that I have always used Ninja with a broker account tied into Ninja charts. So switching to Ensign with no broker trading DOM attached to charts is all new to me...

BTW, I am considering Huddy's lifetime membership, its a pretty good deal I think....

Please let me know, Thanks KoiFan !

  22. This live Market Profile room is run by Kevin "Huddy" Hudson.

Has anyone experience his MP method or trading room?

And good or bad reviews on this before I take the plunge.

The room fairly priced at $79/month or $895 lifetime access to room and weekly training seminars which are $595 for each 4-6 hour seminar to get everyone set-up.

    Thanks in advance....

  23. if you have read the threads here,

you will see that your question has been asked before.

    The findings are:

    1. The indicators are simplistic, for the simplistic mind... it does not need a rocket scientist to figure it out.

    2. The indicators are not original, they have been done before PBF.

    3. The indicators are not up to date, PBF had many tweaks since BR's post.

    4. People like to tinker... illegal hacking was hardly the intent.

    5. Some people make money with the squeeze, some don't. So what's the value of the code?

as you can see, even with the BR codes available wide open,

    1. You do not see thousands of people flooding to TraderLaboratory to download the codes,

    2. You do not see thousands of people became millionaire because of it.

    3. You do not see thousands of people LOSS money because of it.

    4. As a matter of fact, you do not see thousands of people have much of a reaction !!!

    YMMV

I am sure you are happy with your code.

You do sound like sour grape, wishing you had "discovered" the free version before you put down your hard earned money.

Let it go... go forth and enjoy.

    .........There you have it!
