  1. It's what Bemac called it when he orginally coded it for VT, basically it's the rainbow. Blu-Ray
  2. And following up to Walter's last post, anyone following along with TS, here are Vma1 and Vma3. These are updated to the one I previously posted on this thread, as they now incorporate PYenner's code. (Thanks PYenner for the help translating it) Cheers Blu-Ray VMA1.ELD VMA3.ELD
  3. RAVIN An excellent post, Thanks very much
  4. Walter Are you asking for a vma of the cci ? Something like this?
  5. Thanks Walter for posting those, I'm still trying to find my feet with this platform, getting there though. Cheers Blu-Ray
  6. I use regular trade hours, I believe thats what most do, as that is where the high volume is. As in, if you study the market profile for the 24 hours period, price might hardly move in the overnight session, but the profile will keep printing out prints for those periods, giving a false impression that there's high volume around that price. Hope this helps Blu-Ray
  7. No confusion here Walter, I'm looking forward to it, I've just downloaded MT4 until I can code vma3 into TS. Cheers Blu-Ray
  8. I think the last price is only neccesary for the close at the end of the day, luckily I can export my data via Tradestation straight into excel so I don't have to bother typing it in. I don't think it does a composite profile, but further on in that MP thread there were some other versions, so it might be worth taking a look or we could ask the question on that thread and someone might come up with one. Cheers Blu-Ray
  9. On the first page of the Excel package, displays this page below
  10. James Give that link a try for Excel, it works a treat.
  11. I think the person who posts in the forum is the owner who also posts the pivot no's. From my experience, it always up to date. However, I also downloaded this from post 19 by Ryker, its MP for Excel, but you have to put in the 30 min data, unless your platform can do it. http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/6/mp-on-excel-1306-2.html As for any other sites, I don't use any other, unless someone else can help out there. Hope this helps Blu-Ray
  12. I'll jump in with the answer here. try this : http://www.mypivots.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1404&whichpage=17 Hope this helps Blu-Ray
  13. Absolutely. These threads are true Gems, I love your analysis using the composite profile and indentifying the high and low volume areas. Appreciation also has to be given to Dogpile, as together with Ant, you both seem to be on the same wavelength and when you independantly give your thoughts in real time, they both match up. As I said in last weeks thread, I only trade the DAX, but your analysis on the ES really helps me, as what to look for when studying the profile of the DAX. Keep up the Great work Thanks Blu-Ray
  14. Thanks PYenner, that would be much appreciated, as then I should be able to code it into TS. Thanks Walter.
  15. Walter I would be interested in your thoughts on incorporating cci into this method, as I, like yourself, am a big fan of cci. Cheers Blu-Ray
  16. Dogpile & Ant Just wanted to say "Thank You" for these threads, your detail in your explanations are great and really help me understand how things are viewed upon. Sorry I can't contribute, but I don't trade the ES, but your analysis does help me alot, when I look at my instrument (DAX). I know it might seem it's just the two of you, but myself and I'm sure there are others that are benefiting from your knowledge. Thanks again Blu-Ray
  17. Walter Once again, great stuff, just a quick a question, I know that you and PYenner were experimenting the different lengths of the vmar, so I got got lost a bit ( as i dont use MT4 ) with the fantailvamr2 and fantailvmar3, could you tell me the settings you are using on the vmar3 please? Cheers Blu-Ray
  18. Show Off !! All us married men think.........Yeh those were the days.
  19. Z_Trade I've already coded it up for TS and posted it here: http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/24/walter-s-forex-trend-trades-2364-6.html Hope this helps Blu-Ray
  20. No problem I'll code it up after the session's finished. Cheers Blu-Ray
  21. Brown That link takes you to an ELD but its based on ATR, by my understanding you're after a stop based on 4 ticks below the current close but if the next close is lower (eg if you were long) then the stop wouldn't move. I could code this up but since you're not trading via an active strategy on that platform then you will have a "show me" on every candle of the day whether it being above or below the candle. Cheers Blu-Ray
  22. Any Joy ?? Cheers Blu-Ray
  23. Yeh I know what you mean as I feel the same when trying different platforms, it might be worth shooting them an email asking if they could explain how it works. Cheers Blu-Ray
  24. jj If you've got the program, try and see if can edit the indicator, so it displays the formula. If you can do that, post it here or PM me and I'll have a go. Cheers Blu-Ray
