  4. I am interested in the most effective anlysis styles not using volume. My understanding is not all are in belief that volume moves price. So without volume and just using price what are some amalysis methods that may provide what volume could help provide?

  7. They are a type of trend line but objective due to their application. You can read bout them here: TD Line Qualifiers and potential filters @ Forex Factory
  8. Try using TD lines! They are used in Forex and can be used in other trading. They are OBJECTIVE trend lines with qualifiers to validate their signals - filtered trend lines. A trader can determine if a breakout is worth fading and if buying has been exhausted etc.
  9. Simply looking at divergences doesn't tell you WHY? Employing other methods at least gives you more insight. MACD tells you what price tells you as does RSI. Looking at divergences is like looking at a newspaper without taking it all in - sense my analogy? The talk is there, but what is in the talk? Tape reading helps.
