However, the strength of NinjaTrader is in its low latency data. For example, Rithmic as a data feed for NinjaTrader provides superior execution and stability. Both are written for Windows and should be operated as such. Running these on "parallels" could potentially slow down your execution and data. I am a BIG NinjaTrader fan, and I run it on Windows because I dont want to make experiments with execution.
Maybe as the community of MAC users grow, all platforms could run on both. | No slow down with bootcamp. Since Apple started using intel processors you can boot windows natively on their hardware. My day to day trading computer is a MacBook Pro laptop running windows. |
