Interactive Brokers, Excel DDE API

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of a way I can use the Interactive Brokers DDE (VB not Active X) Excel sheet to get 5 or 2 minute REAL TIME bar data. The Active X version provides for 5 second bar data, but as I am already quite involved with the VB sheet with other work I would like to stick to the VB code. I am only a moderate VB programmer and I am in a jam as I was using Neoticker for this excel functionality and they overnight last week decided to stop supporting TWS api (they are keeping my money though, nice). I am just looking for a way to specify {symbol} {start time} {end time} {bar length} {field or fields} and have the array update in excel.

Thanks for the help.
