  1. Hi Bruce. I have experimented in forex something like you as described for it. The market always have the reason... it is hard to learn this... I supposed that your results on that period occurred because you did not put stop losses, but it is very different in a real account, we fall in panic if we do not put them... anyway, you experimented with good systems, only you needed to optimize them... and the master to do that is here: hello Walter! I am experiencing much improvement in my operations with the lessons of Walter... thanks buddy :thumbs up:... Anyway, you Bruce has a good inputs to us about the characteristics of the pairs that it is a good idea to hear it experiences of you... And thanks for the tolerance Walter... I am thinking about speaking also a little of futbol here... you know, Boca, River, Tigres... jeje :o Saludos.... Agustín
  2. PYenner. Seeing those results, I believe that soon you are to become in a rich man... Salu2. Agustín
  3. Oooops! I hope that The Chimp is not angered with us by to have soiled this subject of futures with forex, jeje. :embarassed: But your answers are very useful, PYenner, thank you very much. Excellent information in your post #94. :thumbs up: I guess you should open a thread about these researches... Agustín
  4. Hi Walter. As always, very useful videos, the third of the last 3 videos with premium: with psychology classes (I believe that one of the subjects most important for all trader). I have a questions : I understood that you don't take trades on centripetal actions (on your real account). But the last posts make me think that you take it class of trades (centripetal). Am I right? Do you take trades on centripetal actions? If I had your experience, I would take them. Thanks for the forex examples. About EURJPY, it has normally a big spread, but I guess that its movements pay it kind of spread. I am talking about spreads around 3 pips. But pairs like AUDUSD or USDJPY or EURUSD have spreads normally much more small. In real accounts which of them would you prefer? The one of spread smaller or the one of greater movement? In forex, Do you better find to work with charts of 30 seconds in comparison of shorter timeframes? Or it depend of the pair? Jeje, may be you wanted to avoid this class of forex questions , but well, it are on the air... Thanks a lot, Walter. :thumbs up: Agustín G.B.Y.
  5. Hi Walter. I know that this kind of operations are an aggressive style of trading. But I guess that the M's that you have been showed us are a very clear patterns, in order to consider it to trade together with the divergences, lowering a little the risk, but obvious at least we will need the confirmation of the rainbow. Anyway, we must have clear the risk of it kind of trading, that is more risky than Icons tradings. Salu2. Agustín
  6. Hi. As I believe that never it is of more remembering the bases of the divergences, and I believe that they will be a important part for the scalping techniques that is showing Walter to us, I want to share these lessons that I found and I summarized of babypips.com Salu2. Agustín Divergence Trading.pdf
  7. Sure, you answered my questions. Many thanks, Walter. :thumbs up:
  8. Hi guys. Does someone has the Balance of Power indicator for MT4? I will appreciate your help. Thanks in advance. Agustín
  9. Hi Walter. Great video, Walter, great video like all the other videos yours. Thanks for your teachings. I do not know what happened with the news that you mention here, but I can not find that new in Forex Calendar, Briefing.com and Econoday.com Please, do not forget to comment us your rules to trade after the news. Do you do scalping after one minute of the news? Or, do you wait for a few minutes after the news in order to start to scalp? How many minutes do you wait in order to scalp after the news? Thanks again. Agustín
  10. Hi Walter. I didn't have any news for this morning (10 am NY time). To what news are you referring on the previous post (66)? And... I have a question about the news... usually it is recommended that (for day traders) we must wait at least 15 minutes after the news, in order to don't trade on the crazy moments. But I believe that like a scalper it could be different. What can you tell us about this topic? I attached a pic with comments on a chart of your examples. I see another divergence and I would like that you confirm it. Could you please do it? Salu2. Agustín
  11. Hi Walter. I understand. I will follow your new works as you mentioned. Thanks. Agustín :thumbs up:
  12. Hi Walter. Thanks for your answers. I am very new in the use of the NT, I will try to do the connection you are talking about with Gain. I understand all your comments and the PYenner comments about that the noise in the forex market (any source of that noise) affect our intention to do scalping into the tick or second charts. But, like the futbol players adapt their talents to play in different conditions (fields of grass, carpet or sand), I think that a scalper must adapt its techniques to do businesses in different market conditions. Yes, the patterns that you have been teaching us are more easy to recognize in the 5 min charts (Forex), but with a little more difficulty we can see that patterns in a 1 min charts. And I think that we can do scalping (forex) in the charts of ticks with a specific technique. I mean, may be we can follow the develop of a crossing of Hull moving averages, or to follow the develop of the CCI T3 indicator. I do not know, we can find this with your valuable aid... well, I think this. Salu2. Agustín
  13. Hi PYenner. I always have listened that in forex market the volume is not important, because it is a noncentralized market. This affirmation could have the consequence for some of us to forget the volume concepts for work with them in forex trades, but, I have always thought that the source of the forex data is a good sample of the universe of data forex, and for that reason I believe that the volume into the forex data is a good element in order to consider it in my analysis. I commented this because your opinions, PYenner, are very important for me. Thanks. Agustín
  14. Hi walter and all the crew here! Congratulations to you and to the most active guys that help you to develop your strategies. It thread looks like a great variation of the concepts you are teaching us. :thumbs up::thumbs up::thumbs up: And thanks Soultrader to maintain this site working! :thumbs up::thumbs up::thumbs up: I have a question and I also need some help with the NinjaTrader: Walter, are you development this strategy only to trade futures? I don't think so. I guess all you are talking about here could work in forex or other markets. Is it not? By the other hand, after some time to understand the basics of NinjaTrader, now I can see the charts you were talking about, and they looks great. I know that Metatrader have a lot of coders, but the main problem is the tick bars, bad thing for the users of MT4, like me. Question: What do you talk about bars of 22 ticks? Why don't 21? or 35? I mean, Fibonacci numbers. Ninja and Forex.... I visited the forum of NT and the administrator say that NT only works with GAIN capital data, and they are working in order to connect the NT with others brokers or data sources. But I understood that NT works with forex data in a free form (other data sources). Any of you know if NT works with free forex data? If yes, how can I make that NT works with forex data (no GAIN Capital)? Thanks in advance. Saludos. Agustín
  15. Yes, Walter. It depend of the pair we are trading. This year I experimented with the S/L, using ATR, fractals, moving averages, a variation like describes Soultrader (the best one than I used), and other very bad methods to place the s/l. And since the middle of this year to now, I am convinced that the best is to give the smaller number of pips in the case of if we propound in wrong way the trade (wrong argument), recognize this, wait for a better point to entry on the same way, or finally, switch the mind from bull to bear or viceversa. Anyone of the strategies of S/L that you and Solutrader described here it is an excellent method in order to use like last defense (well, I guess that the first method of defense is to have a good argument to entry with a trade). Yours methods to place the s/l confirm to me what I was thinking about the best way to manage s/l... Thanks. cattus
  16. Hi Walter and Soultrader. Walter, the method you use to place the S/L is very logical and simple. I guess the few pips above/under the pivot that you use to place the S/L are 1 or 2 pips more than the spred cost, is it not thus? It is to say, for example, if the argument is to entry with an up trade and the pivot mark is of 1.2000 and the spread of the pair is of 2 pips, then, you sum 1 or 2 pips to the pivot, in order to prevent a double or triple bottom, then the S/L would be in 1.1997 or 1.9996. Or at least, following your method I would do on this way. The comments of Soultrader are very interesting, thanks for those inputs. Greetings. cattus
  17. Hi Walter. Thank you very much for your videos. The second video has some visual problems at the end of him, but I guess we can infer the movements you are talking about. I appreciate so much your explanation about the position of the stop loses, it has been very helpful to understand this dimension of the scalping method. About the different templates you uses, I guess that could be good for us if you show us the inputs of the vma's. May be if you take a little time to open the inputs onto the videos, it will be enough for us. Note: I use the charts of 1 hour just to see the context. All my questions about climb (scaling) the trades were thinking on trading the five minuts cahrts, mmmh, for example, the entry could be onto the 1 min chart, but the take profit could be at the end of the Chimp (cross), or at fixed profit taking a support/resitance of 5 min chart. Remember, I'm only thinking about it posibility. Regards. Agustín :thumbs up:
  18. Thanks, Walter. Agustín
  19. Hi Walter. I have a simple questions (translations) that are important to me. I will appreciate your help on them... What does setup means?: Patrón? Configuración? Setuping?: Timing?: Oportunidad? Sincronización? Agustín
  20. Hi Walter. I am agree whit you. Sorry for the delay, but at least we have inside the thread other good indicator, the CCIT3. Thanks. cattus
  21. I understand, thanks. Thanks for this comment. I always see the chart of 1 hour, and frequently I change it to 4 hour and 15 min, looking for to understand better what it is making the market. My intention is to trade on the 1 min chart, and if I detect a bigger movement, then I would try to climb the trade, this mean that at that moment I climbed the trade I had to think in terms of the 5 min chart and I would leave the chart of 1 min. I do not know if it strategy would be, it is an intention at this moment. If it result I will comment you. I guess all your first efforts were enough to understand the setuping. The videos and the examples charts are excellents, but if it is possible, I would like to see more example videos of real trades. I do not know what think the others... I would like to put some charts with mark the patterns difficult to recognize in order to obtain orientation of you and the other members of the club. And... to see the method working with more pairs (pros and contras), where we must put the stop loss, I think it is very important, I do not know which part of the process of the car construction it is.... but, it is important, jeje. Thanks Walter. Agustín
  22. Hi unicorn. /This conversation is becoming more interesting: The cat, the chimp and the unicorn are talking! Oh God!, jeje/ I threw a glance to the codes of the "fisher m11" and I could not discern it because I am not a coder, I believe that I prefer to use it, sorry, but I prefer to be a practical cat, jeje. May be it is the finish of the topic of Fisher Yur4ik_v2, because it is incorrect... Thanks a lot for your value comments and for the file you attached, I will review it in comparison with the chimp indicator... unless somebody considers another thing. cattus :thumbs up:
  23. Hi Walter. I would like to check with you the inputs of the lines on 5 min chart. The name of the indicators over the price chart are: ADXVMA6_16bar ADXVMA6_12bar TLOMI NonLagMA_v4 When I use the template you attached before, called "Chimp 5 min chart" and after that I check the inputs of the ADX's lines, I find these inputs: ADXVMA6_16bar (the input for ADX_Bars is 40) ADXVMA6_12bar (the input for ADX_Bars is 4) TLOMI NonLagMA_v4 (inputs are 0,9,0,0,0,1,0.0) I don't see any problem at TLOMI NonLagMA_v4, but the name of the others two tell me that the inputs must be 16 and 12. What are the correct inputs?: ADXVMA6_16bar: 16? or 40? ADXVMA6_12bar: 12? or 4? Note: I asume that you know that with a single indicator called ADXVMA6 we have the source to put any ADXVMA6 with different inputs, but may be you add at each indicator the annex _16, _12, _6, etc. for not confuse us. Thanks for your help. Agustín
  24. Hi Walter. I downloaded the CCIT3 in order to test it, it seems very good. The main problem that I see in Fisher indicator is the re-paint, and I believe it is an implicit problem of the original formula, it is not a problem of the signals (Lime/Magenta) that I added. All your comments about it indicator are very important to me. I guess the comments of coders will be good for us. Thanks again. :thumbs up: cattus
  25. Hi Walter. Thanks to take this oscillator to test it. I added the signals Lime/Magenta. I am not a coder, that was the reason by that I asked for some coder here to review the program in order to try to solve that kind of problem. May be PYenner or Blu-Ray can help us with this problem. My original intention is to try to use it indicator do not for timing, I want to use just to confirme the inflections. I have observed that sometimes the Chimp indicator can show us an inflection but Fisher doesn't show us the same inflection. Other advantage for which I want to use this indicator is that sometimes Fisher shows the inflection before it occurs, then, we could prepare in order to confirm with the Chimp and the cross of NonLag over the ADXVMA (Lime line). The issue of timing for me is as you said it. But obviously, it can evolve... Fisher comes from Ehlers works, as you mentioned. Thanks. cattus
