  1. Leverage is amount of money added proportionally to your deposit (50, 100, 500) when you open an order. While your order is active you can't lost more than your trading margin. When you close your order leverage money return to liquidity provider. For example I trade 1:500 leverage with Hotforex, which means that for one full trade lot (100K $) I need only 200$ free margin.

  2. lol jk.

I'm a 20 years old college student interested in trading emini future indexes or forex and I've been devoting a few hours a day for about 4 weeks now to studying everything i can about trading. I've been using chartgame.com to practice using indicators.

What i've noticed, when i use the MACD indicator in chartgame, it only seems to work about 35% of the time. Most of the time when i play, it just feels as if i'm gambling. This has caused me to become very discouraged but not completely!

    Some questions:

    1) what indicators seem to work best (consistently) for you?

    2) how long did it take for you to develop a good "flow" when trading within your platform?

    3) where are some good reading material on this website that i can use to learn?

    4) would a $3000 account be sufficient for trading emini futures or forex for when i eventually go live?

i'll have more questions when i think of more ;)

Firstly I would advice you to practice trading in training (demo account). There you'll be able to find what indicator best fits your trading style and apply material your read to the trading. I use Hotforex demo simple but working stuff that simulates live trading. Don't hurry to go live, it can leave bad or frustrating experience for you so you can even withdraw with any speculating activity.

  3. If anyone is consistently losing even after trying everything, he/she should leave the trading space, he was not made for it.

I would question that statement, as there is no people who is incompatible with trading. Another important point is acquiring knowledge for that: somebody ju st leavy this rough going and give up with trading. Lacking persistency is the biggest issue in that.

  4. Hi there.

It is the third forex forum where I've registrated and this one seems to be the best of them. I have a good notion about forex but I feel it insufficient to make successful trading. So i would like to get more on this forum and share some interesting ideas on how to elaborate working forex strategies.

    Thanks
