  1. the way i look at it, A lot of traders make big money from automated trading, especially if they have the right EA for it, there is nothing wrong with automated trading, like for instance SPs at zulu have their own track that traders look at, it show how they perform in a certain amount of time (weeks or months) from there the trader can choose to follow them or not (correct me if im wrong) it seems to me like the concept of copying other traders trade but with zulu its made easier..

  2. I was thinking more of the basic stuff like

    - greed

    - lack of knowledge

    - over trading

    - not taking trading seriously

    - and the psychological pressure

    - thinking forex is gambling

    - no risk management

    - to eager to make money

and so on, I had to learn the hard way after blowing an account and it did hurt but it makes people realize a couple of important things, and one of them is our own mistake and our own weakness. :D

  3. usually people compare their earnings to their capital if you are trading a 1000 dollar and earn 10 percent a month thats small coz they see it as 100 dollars, but 10% is big actually in trading forex, usually expert traders are happy with less than that number, if they are trading a 5 digit account now just imagine how much is their 10% :D

me personally i trade a small micro mini account, and im happy to pass a month with a positive earning while practicing and trying to learn more with so little time given to me, :D give me 1% of a micro account i would be happy :D :D

  4. first of all, do not go live if you are new to forex, try going through free online tuitorials such as school of pipsology, just google it, and practice with demo, you can not learn everything about forex in one month, but gradually with practice and interacting with different traders in forums you will learn alot, another thing is, stick to the basics, there will be a landslide of different strategies out there, just look for one that suits you like price auction, and play demo and treat it like real money that will help alot

  5. Are you successful now? How did you overcome yourself as your weakness? There must have been a turning point when you said, "Aha! I've got it now. This is what I need to do!"

Please elaborate what weaknesses do you have in order to get rid of it?

I tried different demos in the past and saw forex as a game, not much knowledge i had back then, so I opened a live a ccount with hotforex, and the first week (more like a couple of days) I blow it due to my silly mistakes, taking up high risks and not sticking to my SL and TP.

It took 2 days for me to move on and go back to leaning more about the basics, and i shifted from a scalper to a position trader, I still have my day job and i earn extra from trading forex, at times its break even but im happy with my pace :)
