Walter this was my reply,But then i relized that something must be wrong with indacator. How can the 1 min never break below the.4 line but 5min did before the 1min. (I really like the concept with this indiacator) "Walter, looking at the gbpusd on one minute i posted some pictures. From the first time price stepped up from .6 June 15(1st picture) it never crossed back down below the .4 till June 21(2nd picture) and thats on 1 min chart!! 3rd picture I zoomed out to 15min not changing any of the vertical lines that i plotted on the 1min. Look at the move it would have caught!!!!!!!"

Ok couldnt post yeserdays trade (couldnt log in) But both trades, Yesterday and todays trades was both stopped out.

Same here couldnt log in yesterday eve or this morning.

Ok the hulls are starting to line up after some rejection to the trendlines.What i would like to see is more of a drop in price and retest of the large hull I believe that would be a good time to short.

Hey walter yea thats what i was thinking depending on the retest of the 4hour and 1 hour trend lines. Nick yea i was only speaking of RR on taking the trade,your right the hulls do not match on taking a short so i would wait till the hulls was in line for a better set up.

Made a mistake on earlier post The blue Trendline was 1Hour (but still watching).

Thanks mk Ill look into what you mentioned above. It may take some time but may be well worth my efforts. As far as being difficult (trending). Well i guess i am in a drawdown. But it never really matterd much if we were trending or ranging(as far as backtesting) I guess during trending conditions I would have a larger target but since everything is based on % it didnt really matter wether i was shooting for 100 pips or 20pips.

Midnight thats a pretty interesting idea, But what information would be needed. The duration of how long each trade lasted (total) Or how long they was in profit. Exactly what type of statistics are needed. Thanks for your help MK.

Ok walter last chart new 30 min trendline formed and retest(just some ideas)

Ok I guess this could be a good place to scale out half and let the other half run. And maybe move the rest of the position up to break even. Dont know we havent really discussed much on exits.(There is many posiblities)

Ok walter,watching the usdjpy I finally felt it would be a good time to enter the trade (DEMO). stops would be in place at 123.70.See what happens!

Walter, yea there was 3 different news release at 4:30am(eastern).GBP this site should give all the releases for the week Forex Calendar @ Forex Factory It will go into detail of what to expect and wich news will affect the markets the most.Also a detailed explanation of each release.

Your concerns are understandable. Not to say it cant happen, because most of the stuff you mentioned is true. But I beleive there are some brokers out there who doesnt take advantage. This morning I was in a live trade with stops at 1.9896 and i was not slipped 1 pip. And as far as widening spreads around news release I never notice any. There are 2 times throughout the day that this happens 5:00 pm eastern and at 12:00am for about 5 minutes at each time for scheduled maintenance.

Walter did you notice the chart I posted last night off the 30 min trendline. Did you notice the price action bounce during the retest.

Dont know nick maybe watching pending orders + the size through the level 2 could give some clue. (a constant search for liqiuidity)

I really dont think it would work, I believe it would only hurt the way my system uses probabilities. But i will look at it,thanks pyenner

Hey torero nice to here from you again! Yea, i tell you this is one of the hardest parts for me.There are many times im in profit that ends up being a losing trade,I can deal with those without much emotions.But its the ones that are real close that take their effect on me. There are 2 ways that I look at it if I have taken those close trades that never happened my drawdowns would probably be kept in check (a little better). But then again this is very common occurance to approach my tp's pull back then trigger them. But yea i do understand what your saying and its something i need to look into.I just dont know how it will affect the longterm profitability.
